I got this lipstick as a mini in a set. Backstage Bambi is the perfect bright pink lipstick and is totally wearable. It's long wearing and doesn't smudge. The colour looks a bit lighter in reality but still has the same intensity as seen on the website. I can wear this colour to class. Will buy the full size.

i recieved celebutard as part of a promo code it was a teeny sample but i LOVE the color i've been looking for a pretty nude color that would still make my lips look full and this is it, i'm in love. i def suggest this color for people strugguling to find the perfect nude.

Underage Red--too effective!

Quick Take: promotes male gaze, is based in sexist double standards
I love the shade, but it has strange effects on the wearer. First, I became conscious of everyone's eyes on me. They were judging me--assessing how I dressed, whether my clothes were too revealing or not revealing enough, and telling me that I was inherently worthless except for my appearance, but that caring about my appearance was shallow. Then there were the catcalls! Those were horrible--all kinds of rude, disgusting remarks from leering old men. All I was doing was walking to the bus stop, but as far as they were concerned, I was putting on a performance just for them. And even worse than the catcalls were the people accusing me of *making* those men harass me--making me responsible for people's reactions to my appearance! I felt so ashamed and confused!
And then I realized--the lipstick, "Underage Red," was causing me to experience exactly what teenage girls experience every day! Needless to say I will be returning this product, and feel that Kat Von D should be more careful about their formulations in the future.

I got homegirl, it's a beautiful plummy red color but it's so pretty I'm pale and it's the perfect dark lip for me with not too much brown I love it

Quick Take: creamy
I have a difficult time finding lipsticks that I love. But Kat von D's Painted Love Lipstick is on my Got To Have list for sure! I'd been eyeing Cathedral for awhile and finally purchased it today. It's a great color, plus it goes on smooth and has a creamy feel to it. I couldn't be happier with it and plan to add many more of Kat's products to my makeup bag very soon!

I absolutely love this lipstick!! I wear the backstage bambi color and I'm Black and I love it! It compliments my skin tone, it has a bright pigment. When it wears off it leaves a lip stain which is a great after effect as well. I use Chapstick as a base so that it doesn't get in the creases of my lip but I love it!! Gonna buy another soon!

Bought the colours Stiletto and Coral Castle and I must say I absolutly love it! I love the way this lipstick has a matte finish to it but its actually very moisturizing. The colors are bright and they definitely stand out from the rest. It lasts for hours after I put on a top coat and when I get more money I'll most likely buy majority of the colors... I really love this, my favorite lipsticks in my make up train so far.

This is a great, long-lasting matte finish lipstick! I have one in Blood red, but that's not the end! i will certainly buy more shades! The lipstick is light, I almost have a feeling that I don't have a lipstick, which I really like. It does not come off easily, when I was removing it at the end of the day, i had a hard time taking it off. :) I would recommend this lipstick if you want a durable, high quality lone! And the shades are great!

this is the third tube of this coral castle that i have purchased. i keep using it up as it is the perfect shade of coral for me. not too bright and not too nude looking to make my lips appear dull looking. if kat von d discontinues it, i don't know what i will do. i want to wear this shade for the rest of my life !

Quick Take: long wearing, unique
An awesome bright orange, just like the Mod ladies used to wear in the sixties. I obsessively looked for the perfect orange, and this was it. UD has a pretty one called 'Punch Drunk' but it was too glossy, and Illamasqua had one but it was WAY too dry. This has a great mostly matte finish, and it's long-lasting. I like to add just a touch of red lip liner to it when the orange feels too bright for my mood, and you get a nice color that resembles 'Raven' by Hourglass. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it can be a little drying, and you'll want to make sure your lips are nice and smooth because it does show if they're chapped. I added just a touch of Sugar lip balm beforehand for a smooth application.
