Quick Take: volumizing
I cannot live without this mascara, and not just in the summer, but all year long. i do not understand any of the negative reviews. this is the best, and i highly recommend it, especially for those who need waterproff mascara. i wear it everyday, and it lasts all day (I have 18 hour days all week). and then it comes off easily at night with a waterproff makeup remover. Absolutely no complaints with maintenance, and then the deliverable - looks awesome, which is what really matters. Thx.

I love the original Diorshow mascara and decided to try a waterproof version for hot summer season.
It is waterproof and stays on all day but it smudges under the eyes and it is hard to take off even with an eye make up remover.
Disappointed. Wouldn't buy it again

I usually wear their mascara and was going on vacation and thought a waterproof would be a great idea.. it was not. it clumped all of my lashes together and it took weeks to get off! I returned it!

I've purchased this mascara 3x in one year because I use it soo much. It's fabulous and truly waterproof. I leave it on all day and it literally has no smudge. I even keep it on when i go to the gym!!! It's a pleasure knowing i can work out and sweat and not feel like my eyeballs are on fire because mascara is running into them. People usually tend to think I'm wearing a few false lashes when i have this on. But my natural eyelashes are full & long so this really just thickens them. I dont think this is much of a lengthening mascara. but instead an enhancing mascara. I also use it in place of eyeliner on some days. Anyways, I love it dearly and I haven't found anything that can replace it. However, if you're worried about cost & usage, I suggest buying a cheaper drug store brand just to alternate.

Quick Take: drying
Love the dior blackout, but it smears after a few hours.This formula is harsh on your lashes, very drying. I could not get it off with eye makeup remover. I will have try using a primer with the regular blackout...maybe.

Quick Take: disappointing
I used this while attending family functions around a death in the family and it just didn't last at all and stung my eyes when the tears emerged. It also has no good effect on your eyes like the mascara doesn't lenthen or make your lashes stand out well.

I am hopelessly dedicated to this mascara. It gives me the look of twice the lashes I already have. The color pay off is spectacular. I have been cooing about it since I got it! It does have a tendency to clump, though. That is its only flaw.

Quick Take: not 100 % smudge proof
I bought this specifically because I was told Dior stands on it's 100 % smudge proof promise. Well, mine smudges all the time. I have applied every trick in the book to prevent it from doing so but I end up being a raccoon all day long... it is terrible. Only positive is that it has a great black kohl color.

I've always been the type of girl who tries every latest and greatest waterproof mascara on the market. That is, until I tried Diorshow Black Out. This one is by far the best I've ever used and I no longer flip flop from one mascara to the other. It's smooth, creamy, and when it dries it doesn't flake off. I've never experienced any smudging and it truly is waterproof. It's the blackest black mascara I've tried to date and it makes my long eyelashes look positively perfect.

This is one of the best mascaras out there! I use this with Diorshow overcurl (not waterproof) and can you say WOW!!! my lashes look fake! It's worth every penny i doubt ill ever use anything other than Dior now!
