Quick Take: foamy
I love the formulation sold in the blue packaging but when I ordered, I got the new formulation in the white tube. It's okay but not nearly as good as the old one for combination skin. Please change the photo on this item so others do not buy with the false hope of getting the old product.

Quick Take: gentle, little foam
This is perhaps the best face wash I've ever used. It's very gently and has the perfect amount of foam. It does not leave behind any kind of residue. My face feels very fresh and clear after using us.

Quick Take: foamy, refreshing
I’ve tried all of Clarisonic's cleansers and I really like Acne Daily Clarifying cleanser as well as the Refreshing Gel Cleanser. I originally got the Refreshing Gel Cleanser as a sample and didn't use it until I went on vacation. Had I known how nice my skin felt after using it, I would have bought it long time ago. Definitely recommend you to use the Acne one until your skin clears and then start using the Refreshing Gel Cleanser.

Quick Take: foamy, milky
The wording of the packaging is the exact same as the "blue bottle" cleanser... but when I got home - it was the white bottle, and I compared ingredients, and they aren't the same. My local sephora had never been able to keep the blue bottle on the shelf. The blue bottle was on the shelf with one box behind it so I hurriedly grabed it and checked out. The ingredients aren't the same and neither is the scent of the cleanser or the color of the gel. Does the same job but not as enjoyable :(

Is a very light and smelling good face wash. I use mine with my clarisonic mia and has keep my skin under control since I've gotten it. I have a acne prone skin and this formula keeps my skin soft and my acne under control.

Quick Take: horrible for oily skin, mislabeled
So, I ordered this product because it clearly says that it is for normal/oily skin and it is not. It is the one for all skin types and is damaging to oily skin. The customer service rep informed that the one in the blue bottle does not exist any longer, although it is clearly displayed here.Do not buy, because it is not what you think it is. You are better buying from Macy's.

I love this with my daily Clarisonic routine. I tried other cleansers with the Mia and it was not the same. Love this cleanser. Smell is a bit strong if you are sensitive to fragrance.

I loved the sample Clarisonic provided when I bought the brush. I wanted to buy the larger size, but they have changed it to the Refreshing Gel Cleanser for All Skin Types (the blue bottle was for Normal / Oily skin). Anyhows, they need to update the picture so you don't order it and get the wrong item!

I ordered this since I thought sephora still got the inventory of the original blue packaging product. But they have already changed the blue one to the white new ones. They did not update the image.
So if you wanted the old one, do not buy this.
If you liked the new one, go for it.

Formula change - not for the better

Like many of you have posted this formula has changed. It is not in the blue bottle anymore and is not specifically for oily skin anymore. I actually called Clarisonic to ask about the formula change and she stated they took out the fragrance and added moisture, but assured me it would still work for oily skin. I've only been using the new formula for a few days - I don't hate it, but I certainly don't love it. It doesn't make my skin have that great clean feel the way the old formula did. If you have oily skin, I'd look for something else. Although, it is still a nice foamy cleanser if oil isn't a major concern for you.

I bought this to try when I purchased my Clarisonic face brush. I am completely in love! It smells wonderfully, foams and cleans perfectly, and leaves my skin feeling soft with no leftover residue. I will continue to purchase and use this product.

I got a small bottle of this with the brush kit. It cleanses well, but for me I felt it was a bit too drying on the skin. I have sensitive skin though. Smells nice. Good price for the amount of product you get.

When I originally purchased this cleanser, it was in fact, the actual blue bottle pictured on the website. It worked great and best of all it had a lovely clean and refreshing scent (I hate perfumey, or flowery scents). I have oily skin and loved that this cleanser left my skin clean and smooth without using salicylic acid (that only dries your skin out, which forces it to produce oil to hydrate,which makes you break out all over again....so I stay away from salicylic at all costs). Anywho, long story short, I eagerly ordered a new bottle online (they stopped selling it in the store) and when the package came, it was in a WHITE bottle, and instead of saying "oily skin", it said something like "all skin types" on it. However, I gave it a try and absolutely HATED it. The new scent was actually nauseating (seriously, it had an awful chemical smell which was so opposite the original formula). To make matters worse, my skin started breaking out again. I was very disappointed and I returned the bottle to my local Sephora store. They really should take this blue picture down, because that's not whats offered anymore. Now I'm on the hunt for a new cleaner to love. Any suggestions?

I like this wash, but a little goes a long way. It's a little thick, but I do feel it cleans well and takes off all my makeup. I will probably try another Clarisonic cleanser after I've used this bottle up.
