Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive
I have extremely sensitive skin that is reactive to just about everything. It is usually dry, red, and irritated. I usually break out in fine bumps. This product calms my skin down. I have used it for three days and the redness is down significantly already and my fine bumps are going away. My skin no longer looks wind damaged/severely irritated and dry. It looks nourished, calm, clear, and beautiful. I love that it is so effective as a moisturizer but lightweight at the same time. It absorbs so well but keeps skin moisturized at the same time. I can't wait to try the cleansing milk that goes along this same line. Yaye!

I have a very hard time with any beauty products due to a sensitivity to Sodium Benzoate. I tried this since it does not have this ingredient in it. It is lightweight yet seems to moisturize well. I will buy this again. It calmed down my redness and made my skin smooth and satiny.

I love this stuff -- it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin primed for foundation/tinted moisturizer. It's an intensive moisturizer. NOT for people with oily skin. It does have a calming effect like the name says. I'm not crazy about the smell -- very herbal. But it's worth it. I've tried a lot of moisturizers of the same price range and this is my favorite. Not sure if it will be too much in the summer but it was just what my skin needed after a long winter in Wisconsin. I'm hooked!

I got this in a sample and boy am I impressed!!! I love the light weight fell and silky texture that jusdt glides over my face. It is so soothing and feels amazing. It hasn't irritated my acne prone skin either. I will absolutely be buying this product! Love it!

I was looking for something simple and soothing. This feels really good on my acne-prone, sensitive skin.Easy to spread and won't clog pores if you don't apply too much. A little bit heavy for summer time, but good for the rest of the year. I like that it won't burden my skin with other advertised functions but just solve the moisturizing and stabilizing work. Will definitely purchase again after summer.

I've only been using this a few days however, I haven't had any reactions which is important with my sensitive skin. I think this product is going to be a long term "keeper"! My only complaint is that the scent is a little earthy....

I have sensitive dry skin thats very picky so I've tried every lotion I could get my hands on, I got a sample of this via checkout at Sephora and my skin fell in love! its light weight, non greasy, it calms my skin down and gives it a smooth hydrated glow and you only need a little bit! love love love!

I absolutely love this stuff! Its creamy without feeling thick or heavy and a little goes such a long way. I just bought my second one(my first being bought April of LAST year!) I have really sensitive skin so I had a hard time finding a good moisturizer that didn't make me break out or get dry patches. I wear make-up almost every day so splurging a little to find something that wouldn't clog my pores became a must, but its so worth it! It also has little to no smell which I love because most of the others I tried had odd scents that I didn't want anywhere near my nose!

My previous moisturizer was discontinued (I was using the Super range by Perricone). So the hunt started for a new one. I am in my mid thirties, with sensitive, combination skin. I had been through 3 different moisutrizers before I found this one. I am so happy to say that I love it. It's light, but my skin feels very moisturized. I actually love the smell - fresh and not chemical. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs very quickly. I don't wear primer or foundation, just powder, so it has been tricky to find something that can hydrate but not make my t-zone oily. This product does both. I use this as a day cream, along with an eye cream. I feel like I need something more intensive at night. I'm so happy with this buy - and I'm a new and very big fan of REN.

Perfect for winter

I have very dry skin, to the point where it flakes in large patches, so I have to be very careful about making sure my skin is fully hydrated. While some women check their makeup midway through the day to control oil breakthrough, I have to check to make sure my skin isn't picking up and flaking under my foundation. Naturally my quest for a daytime mousturizer that's rich enough to solve this problem without being greasy or messing with my makeup has been a frustrating one. This product has solved my problems! It's got a beautiful whipped texture and absorbs quickly, creating a nicely hydrated canvas for makeup. And no problems with flakey midday breakthrough! The only thing I don't like is the smell (sort of weird and herbal) but it goes away quickly and I'm more than willing to overlook it based on performance.

Great as a daytime mousturizer during the winter. It smooths on nicely, absorbs quickly, and keeps any pesky dray patches from flaking through my makeup. The smell is a little irritating, but it fades by the time I'm finished with my makeup. A little goes a long way, I can see the bottle lasting me for several months with daily use.

Does what it says perfectly. I have combination to oily skin with acne prone skin. Love the creamy silky texture along withthe light citrusy scent. Small size for how expensive but goes a long way. One pump will cover the whole face in calmness. Absorbs into the skin fast, I wouldnt say greasy but after application a couple of hours after d say I had a shine on my face. Very nice for skin in need of moisture and healing. Will buy again!

Thank you REN! I have the problem of dry skin with large pores and sensitivity. In other words, I break out but need hydration. This day cream is beautiful. It moisturizes yet doesn't block my pores, does not cause breakouts and, after using it for three weeks, has evened out my skin tone and diminished redness. Ladies, I break out with everything but REN caused no reaction. I am sticking with it. Though a little pricey at $55.00, it is well worth the money. Bravo!

I have been using the REN ClearCalm 3 Replenishing Night Serum and it has been doing good things to my skin. Since I am about to replace my day moisturizer soon, I decided to get this as a sample and boy am I glad I did because it would have been a terrible mistake to have bought the actual thing!
On the first day of using I thought it was great because it was lightweight and smells just like the night serum. By the middle of the day my face started feeling greasy, but I tried it for two more days just to really test it out and now I have so many new pimples on my face! This product is definitely not for me, it's probably not too great for combination/oily skin. I have sensitive skin as well, but this actually aggravated the redness of my acne. I'm not done with the sample, but I think it's best to just toss it.

I received a sample of this and I am very impressed.
Only needed a small amount for my face and it left my skin moisturized and smooth.
I have VERY sensitive skin and almost everything seems to "burn" when I use it.
This stuff is so calming and wonderful.

This cream is very nourishing but wish it contained spf especially since it's a day cream. I don't have sensitive skin but I like the texture for my combo-dry skin during the winter. Really hydrating especially for my office environment.
