I bought this particular shade (Bare) for my mom who is 73, I use the Natural shade, and we both love it. Makes your skin look wonderful, but still natural. Not too shimmery, just enough to look moist.
This tinted moisturizer is wonderful! You can use it alone or use powder over it for full coverage, but this illuminating one is really all you need since it gives you a unique glow. I have very oily skin, so I am going to try the oil free one.

Quick Take: skin evening, glowing, good color
This tinted moisturizer was almost everything I had hoped for, except it was not as moisturizing as I thought it would be, and that's part of what I wanted. However, it evened out my skin somewhat, the color(bare radiance) melted flawlessly into my skin, and the coverage was better than I expected. Plus the illuminating part really does illuminate; even keeps a glow after I powder my face! If I could I would subtract half to three-quarters of a star, because of the not as moisturizing part, and also I feel this is a bit overpriced. But lovely stuff.
I actually use this as a foundation, over a moisturizer or high spf sunscreen, and it offers just enough coverage to even out skin tone. The bit of shimmer also helps mask fine lines and gives skin a nice, healthy glow. Never looks like you are wearing make up and never feels like it, either!
I wear Laura Mercier Tinted Mositurizer as a foundation everyday. i thought I would try this for something different, but it is to much on its own. I think this would be great mixed with another foundation.

Just bought my second tube of the Tinted Moisturizer from Laura Mercier. I like the sheer coverage and the subtle gleam that it provides. It goes on smoothly and has a lightweight feel. And it doesn't take much for great coverage, so it's well worth the price. Great product!
This tinted moisturizer is amazing - light coverage and it evens out my complexion. I love the way it feels and looks. BUT - I travel a lot and I hate the packaging. Every single flight means more wasted product since no matter how I pack it I end up with a 1/2 teaspoon worth or so in the cap. What a waste and what a mess.
the moisturizer isn't as "moisturizing" as i had hoped, especially in the cold weather we've been having lately. Also, maybe it's just a personal skin problem, but everytime i use it, i end up with litlte whiteheads in different areas of my face.
I have very oily skin, but decided to try a deluxe sample of this tinted moisturizer. When I paired it with LM's silk creme and loose powder, I didn't notice much of an increase in day-end oiliness, so that was the first plus!
The second plus was the coverage! Even though this is a sheer tinted moisturizer, the "sparkle" really does diffuse the look of my acne scars and other discolorations. A lot of products seem to promise this, but Laura Mercier delivers!
While this works well for me in the fall/winter months, I could see it not helping my summertime oil production any. If you've got combo or drier, I think this would be perfect!
I just bought this product in warm radiance and I absolutely love it!! I have a pretty good complexion and do not wear foundation however in the winter my skin tends to get a little dry and dull. I wanted to try this in hopes that it would give me a dewy look and let me say mission accomplished!! For the past two days all the girls at work have noticed a "radiance" to my face. I will definitely be a long term fan of this product!
This stuff is amazing... it gives the perfect glow and helps cover slight spots, making your skin look even and smooth... I wouldn't recommend for acne prone skin.

I bought this product in the color "Bare Radiance" because I have very fair skin and it is one of the only colors that isn't too dark for me! Hooray! (to give you a hint of just how white I am, I wear NARS Sheer Glow in "Siberia") I love how the product reflects light off of my face and gives me a healthy looking glow even on days when it is the only product I wear. Very good for fair skin tones, it blends easily and gives good sheer coverage that's buildable. A little dab goes a long way.
This product is incredible. Its light, non-greasy, odorless...and it gives your skin a soft glow that you can't get with any other product. I have had more compliments on my skin since I started using it. It is a MUST have product...and I think it will be wonderful for adding a little glow to dull winter skin.
I was a bit sceptical of the "luminous" of the product because I have oily skin, but I haven't received this many compliments on my skin since I was gettting monthly facials. Great buy but if oily purchase some blotting papers.
In the past I've used and adored the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, and recently gave the Illuminating one a try. It gives your face a nice dewy look without looking like you've applied glitter to your face. Though It is more sheer than the regular tinted moisturizer, I like it for my pale winter skin.
I love this stuff! The shimmer is fun but I will prob. buy the regular formula next time. Smells like Bailey's Irish Cream...yummy! Very moisturizing and not greasy.
