The perfect highlight- 10.09.09
Quick Take: soft shimmer, works with all skin tones
I have tried many highlighters before and when i bought this product after reading so many great reviews from professional make-up artists, i was so amazed of the product. It leaves a very nice sheen on your cheek bones or wherever you put it and does not look too white, glittery or matte like most highlighters. Im telling you, no regrets if you buy this!

Good highlighter- 09.29.09
Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheen
This is one of the best highlighters I've used and I have plenty. The result is a very subtle shimmer more like a sheen and can be used on the cheekbones, forehead and down the center of the nose without looking sparkly. It is one of my favorite.

I tried this with a bit of hesitation - the reviews are good, but the price isn't. Not to worry. This stuff will last forever! Just a tad all over the face with a fat brush (the brush that comes with it is the ho-hum usual) and the skin looks FRESH. Not made up, but FRESH. Too much enthusiasm will cause the powder to build up, however, with a scary look that is sort of "aliens among us." It is very finely milled, so it might seem you are getting very little on the brush, but it is there - use a light hand. It is worth the $$$.

this powder is PERFECT. it adds this gorgeous, sheen glow, and is completely beautiful for highlighting the cheek bones, brow bones, and slimming the nose ever so slightly. it's my favorite eye brightening powder as well. the brush is surprisingly wonderful for the application and i've fallen head over heels in love.
a product that excites me so much, and never leaves me searching for something more. =D

I purchased this product and was excited because I loved Kevyn Aucoin's work. I read reviews about his other products and they were positive. This product isn't chalky or too much. However, I really don't see anything when I apply it nor do I think I have the "glow". I do think it has a nice texture but for the money, I might skip this as a purchase and buy one of his other products.
So after reading all the other reviews I decided to give this stuff a try... and WOW it is AMAZING. I am of the "younger" generation, and so I do enjoy a little glow, but I hated how everything I tried was always so sparkly. It drove me nuts. So I tried this, and the glow that it gives off is just out of this world. I live in a harbor with smelly old fishermen and if they can notice that I seem to be "glowing", well, then anyone can! I have never been so complimented on my skin in my life when wearing this! Perfect amount of glow with NO glitter. I reccomend this to anyone. Even my mother, whom is 60 years old, loves this stuff, it makes her look radiant every time she puts it on. Great for all ages and so very worth every penny.

Quick Take: a miracle, defining, highlighting, lifting
I love it so much that I stock back ups of this stuff in case it goes off the market. Don't let the big brush throw you off course. Under the brow it lifts by browbone. Inner corner of the eye eliminates the shadowy darkness. A thin line under my eye liner on the outside of my lower lid makes my eyes brighter, bigger and more defined. It takes off years by eliminating shadows without any glittery evidence or added suspicious color. A highlight that only highlights and doesn't shine, glitter or age. Amazing! It takes just a touch and lasts forever. I skip using the included brush and instead use a sponge eyeshadow applicator and an eyeliner brush for detail.

I have oily skin and usually stay away from highlighters that have shimmer, but the shimmer in this powder is subtle enough that if worn lightly I can make this work. I apply sparingly to my browbones, cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and chin and it doesn't look oily or too shiny...just softly glowing. The brush that comes with it is not good at all, so I use my own brushes to achieve the perfect finish. Very nice product!

Awesome Highlighter- 01.02.09
Quick Take: soft shimmer
The Celestial Powder is beautiful and flattering, subtle and easy to apply. Use it in the inside corner of eyes to open them up. Throw away the brush though, it's useless, and the packaging could be much smaller.

Once a woman reaches a certain age, shimmer becomes tricky. This powder is the next step for us, it truly is candlelight for the face. I don't know how he did it, but he did. I feel lovely in this.

If you want a really nice and very light powder to set your make up and look like you don't have any make up on this is your powder. I did not see much if any shimmer to this at all which is really why I bought it. I also didn't really think it gave any coverage so if that is what you are looking for this is not the powder for you. For the price and the average qualities of this powder I would not buy it again.

This product is worth purchasing. I am a light, warm tone and it gives me the perfect amount of sheen. I even use it as an eye shadow. It is very finely milled and not at all obvious or colored. It seems to sink into my skin and glow!! I have tried a few other highlighters but this is the best. I do like the Vincent Longo beauty/sin duo as well for more color.
