This product is amazing! I have very, very sensitive skin and it didn't have one negative reaction to this product so long as I got all of it off. Lots of price complaints but each pod has 3 facials worth of product just tape the top back on and even if you don't it breaks down to 9 buck a facial which is pretty sweet. Do it before bed and you face will thank you

Quick Take: refreshing, cooling
While this mask feels refreshing and has an interesting velvety mousse texture I didn't notice any spectacular results. I used all the pods in the pack, one per week.

Quick Take: glowing skin
I almost never write reviews, only if I really am impressed with a product. This is one of those times that I was blown away by a product. I left the mask on for 30 minutes, 10 minutes seems too little a time for $83 a box. After I washed it off, I didn't really notice a difference. To be honest, my skin is pretty good at baseline. However, after a few hours, and especially in the following days I really noticed the glow. No product has left such a glow for days after use. I highly recommend trying this product.

Quick Take: gorgeous!
I bought this based on other reviews I had read, but didn't expect this product to be SO good. Firstly, the texture of the mask is not at all what you would expect - it's like a light mousse even though it's black. It feels cooling to the skin when applied. I do see an instant difference when the mask is taken off. It doesn't moisturize but it does minimize fine lines and gives a glow. if you have sensitive skin I would say use at night to give your skin time to calm down and you wll be very pleased in the morning! I am not a big fan of skin products but believe me - this one is very very good.

Im a guy, 21, and I've tried more than 40 kinds of mask.I got this super magical product today. Cant wait to use it and yes i did. I hanged out with friends till 4am, was pretty tired and i had very heavy BB cream on to cover my acne..when i get home, I removed my make up washed my face, my skin looked so tired and dull, totally a mess. Then I put the mask on, I usually smoke while I have mask on, I know its bad but I just want. Left the mask on for abt 15 or 20 mins I didn't timing it. Then rinse off. O...M...G... My skin was so fresh, so bright. Ive got tons of big pores and they are more or less minimized!!! Im cant find any words to describe it, neither English nor Chinese, which is my mother tongue. I just decided that I cant go without it anymore. I love it !!! love it! You have to give you a chance!!! The price is a little bit higher but i would say it worth every penny!! Come on, just treat yourself. How could you let a guy's skin brighter than you!

I love this mask. I was amazed at how bright and soft my skin was after only 10 minutes! I love the way your skin 'cools' while the mask is on, and the results are fabulous. I highly recommend this product.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to try one ampoule of Givenchy's Black For Light Mask Light Enhancing Black Mask. I was disappointed when I removed the mask (with warm water), as I didn't see any difference. However, within a few hours after removing this mask, my skin pinked up and looked super fresh and way younger. I'm ordering my own set of nine ampoule of this awesome mask. While it's definitely on the expensive side and I won't be able to use it the two to three times per week as directed, I'm going to use it before special parties and events. It's excellent.

First off, the packaging is wonderful - there are 9 pots of the mask and a wonderful Givenchy application brush. You immediately feel like a million dollars because of the rich, luminous color. After 10 or so minutes of wearing the mask, I took it off. I didn't see that my skin looked much different than before. HOWEVER, the next morning after I put my normal make up, I noticed that my skin looked truly beautiful. It looked hydrated, it was illuminating light (not too much - just perfectly). I couldn't believe it. I wish I could use the mask twice every day for those effects. The directions say to use 2 or 3 times/week - I just might!

I read about this product in a magazine - Liv Tyler uses it so I thought I would give it a try. My skin type is combination skin; oily in the t-zone and normal everywhere else. The mask makes your skin feel tingly and refreshed - as far as the look goes I thought it gave my skin a slight glow. I will not lie and say it performed a miracle but I think it is a nice product to pamper yourself with and give your skin a special feeling.

I received my package of the Givenchy Black for Light mask last night and couldn't wait to try it out. I used one of the containers for my face and neck. It was MORE than enough, and for next time I might use just half so that I can make more uses out of the product. The mask felt nice - it was definitely cooling and refreshing. I kept it on for ten minutes like the directions said and washed it off. I could definitely see a glow, illuminating factor on my face. It wasn't as noticeable as I thought it would be in the mirror, but I took a couple of pictures - and my face looked amazing!! My skin was even and glowing without ANY makeup on. I couldn't note much of a difference the next morning, but since this was my first use of the product I will need more time to evaluate the long term results. I know I will be using this before any big events - as my skin was beautifully radiant. As for repurchasing - it depends on the long term results. It is a wonderful product, but because of its cost, it is a luxury not a necessity for now.

Refreshing and uplifting, this mask really does make my face glow. I went up to my husband after I had rinsed in off and without prompting he actually said my skin looked beautiful. If that isn't an endorsement, I don't knwo what is.

Quick Take: not worth the hefty price tag
For the amount of money, I expected my face to be glowing. I truly saw no real difference. The consistency of the mask is luxurious---I'll give it that, and the color of the mask, of course, is unique. But in terms of a difference in the look and/or quality of my skin, nothing. Absolutley not worth the money.

love the way it feels on the skin. it restores the way light reflects on your skin when you're younger. i know a lot of models that use this product leading up to their photoshop to give their face that extra glow.
