Good but Very Shiney

I got this to replace my liquid highlighter. I like the powder because it is easier to use then the liquid but It is SO much more shimmer then I counted on. I needed to blot most of it off to keep from looking like tinkerbell and think it shold be mixed by half with a translucent powder for daily wear.

Wanted to like it.... But...

I was excited to receive this item, since I bought it online for the sale price.... But when I received it, it was shattered into itty bitty pieces. Huge mess. However, I did manage to dust some bits from it onto my thighs to test out the color.. It was too dark and shiny for my complexion. It could be due to it being broken and all.

Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage
I didn't expect much from this highlighter being that it was only $5. I do like the golden color and actually use it as a cheek color on the days that I like to have more of a "natural" looking glow. I have yet to use it as an actual highlighter but I imagine that it will work well... especially on darker skin tones. I'm right in between so we'll have to wait and see! As for the shimmer.. it's not too glittery which I love!

Quick Take: great, dewy, perfect
This is so awesome!! It's just the perfect amount of shimmer. It's not too sparkly unless you pack it on. So worth the money!! Gives such a dewy gorgeous effect to your skin!!

Dore-- pretty shimmer

I ordered the product online, and when it arrived, the product itself was not damaged, but the little plastic thing that makes the lid click closed immediately broke off. So, that's a glitch in packaging, definitely. The golden one (Dore) is a beautiful soft shimmer without being too glittery. Unfortunately, I have fairly light skin, so I can't really use it as highlighter for the tops of my cheekbones, etc. It does, however, serve as a perfect sunny glowy bronzer, if you have light skin. So, if you're looking for a highlighter, I recommend this for women with darker skin. Also, it does have a baby powder odor, so don't buy if you are sensitive to scented things.

Awesome! I bought it as a blush where it failed miserably but then again, my fault because its a highlighting compact, not a blush. (I was fulled by the pink color!) I use it as a all over shimmer and it doesnt give me that shiny-could-be-mistaken-for-oil look. Gives a youthful glow which I swear makes me look a few years younger.And Ill take what I can get, thank you!

Quick Take: shimmery, powdery
I picked this up in Dore as an impulse purchase while heading out of my Sephora trip. The color itself is beautiful and creates a lovely glow. However, the powder is very...powdery. It gets everywhere while using it, so I would advise some caution. The glow is also BRIGHT, so I would recommend using a light hand. Overall, it's been a fun addition to my summer going out look, but in some ways you get what you pay for- I'll be investing in a higher quality highlighter soon.

The main reason why I got this product is because it was on sale and I didn't have any powders specifically for highlighting. This does its job and the color is nice, but I thought it was a bit too shimmery for me than I realized at first.

I love this product it give that extra pop to my make up. I just add it under my eyes a little, along my cheek bones, the middle of my forehead, and down the bridge of my nose. And its not over glittery. But I can do with out the smell
