I'm not the biggest fan of this product. I've read a lot of reviews regarding the T3 lines before my purchase. My issue is with the fixed plates. For some reason it pulls my hair. Not as smooth as reported.

My first t3 purchase- 02.27.10
Quick Take: easy to use, cute
I actually got mine at my local Sephora so i guess it's not online only. Anyway, i purchased this 3 weeks ago and i am pleased with it. It's nothing great really but, i love that it steams my hair without damaging it. I mean technically, any other flat iron can steam your hair but i guess it's a matter of damaging your hair or not. This one doesn't or at least not yet=P I doubt that it will. I don't use it everyday but the few times i used it, i do love the results. I love that it's pink--makes it more worth it. Not bad for my first ever t3 purchase=)

A Great Buy For all Serious Straighteners!- 02.24.10
Quick Take: a great find, underrated!
I must first say that I have had my iron for one year, as I wanted to give it enough time to wear it in before I reviewed it. This iron replaced my third Chi iron, which, like the two before, had electrical problems.
This iron straightens hair wonderfully. I have a lot of hair, so I straighten in three sections, and am always pleased with the results. I like my hair to be very straight because I have random sections that are wavy and the T3 does a superb job.
The ONLY setback I would warn others of is that because you are buying a 1 inch iron, it is harder to get close to the roots.
I have never used this on damp or wet hair because I know better than that, but my results on my thick, dry hair are great. I give it 2 thumbs up!

I definitely recommend T3 products, but not this one, especially for thick, course hair like mine. It did as promised- straightened from towel-dried hair to dry hair, but it took several passes of small sections, so it wasnt really a time saver versus blowdrying then flatironing. Plus, my hair had more flyaways, was frizzier and didnt straighten as smoothly as with a regular flatiron. If your hair is fine or straight and you just want to add shine and body, this will probably work fine. Otherwise, stick to a regular blowdry then flatiron routine.

Quick Take: life-saving
I need a wet-to-dry iron because of my really curly hair - I just don't have the time to blow dry first and I bought this iron to replace my old T3 wet-to-dry which I broke by trying to use it with an adapter in a foreign country - oops! Anyhow, I love this T3 - works great! Plus it's pink!

I think the T3 works great, save me so much time since i can use it on wet hair, i take my time and do sections ( i have a lot of hair) and i always get compliments. My hair never drys out and stays healthy, bought this over a year ago and still think its a keeper.

I just bought this today. I was ify on whether or not to buy it, i had read reviews online and they were sorta mixed so I went in the store and asked one of the workers and she pretty much recommended it and sold me. I actually just used it on my damp hair and it worked amazingly. I previously used a chi for 6 1/2 yrs and the t3 left my hair so soft and feels really sleek . With the chi my hair would feel sorta dry after straightening but, it doesn't feel that way at all with the t3. ONLY thing I really didn't like though, was to me the straightener is kind of bulky but, they may just be me needing to get adjusted to it since I only used a chi before which is quite slim. Overall it's fantastic and I'd recommend it, def worth the money!

Quick Take: quick, easy, hot
This flat iron heats up very fast and straightens my thick loose-curly hair very well with no snags. Straightening while wet is a little more of a challenge though, and it leaves my hair frizzy. I definitely prefer to use this product while my hair is dry.

I previously owned a Hai flat iron. When it refused to turn on, I checked out a bunch of reviews and decided to try the T3. The girl in Sephora told me it was good but you had to pull it through your hair slowly to get the desired result. She was right! I think the Hai works quicker but is more damaging on your hair. The T3 seems to be a little gentler. Overall, I'm happy with it.

The best thing about this iron is that it really works for wet hair. I thought of buying this a long time ago, I went into the store and a salesperson said she wouldn't recommend it for me because I have very thick, coarse hair. A few weeks later, I bought it anyways, and I'm glad I did. Straightening my hair when it's wet makes it so smooth and it REALLY holds! I'll go 3-4 days without washing and I only need to touch-up the ends from getting messed up by sleeping. Definitely recommend! Tons of my friends bought one after trying mine!

Less Heat Damage +Lasting style thats worth the$$$- 11.18.09

So far, having used it on both dry & wet hair, I love it!
I stopped using B&B Styling Lotion, Sebastian Trilliant Heat Protection/Shine spray, B&B Defrizz!!! I dont have to use these many products anymore and yet I get shiny straight humidity-free hair :)
So here's my new routine. 1. Shampoo with Phytorhum Fortifying Shampoo 2. Apply pea size of Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm from roots to ends all over 3. Slightly blow dry with T3 PRO.Dryer while combing out hair with a boar-bristle brush & straighten with T3 PRO [wet] OR Blow dry fully section by section with T3 PRO.Dryer & touch up by straightening with T3 PRO [dry]
X4. Because I am so used to using a hair spray to finish off, I sometimes use Sexy Straight Hair but I stopped doing this and still am very satisfied with the styling finish from previous step.
I do observe when I use this on wet hair, there is no visible damage, but that maybe due to my Phyto Balm, and my hair is way more humidity-pigtails-free + is slick straight with visibly lesser volume when compared to using on dry hair.
When I use it on almost-dry hair, there's healthy-volume.
I do have naturally wavy hair that has ridiculous waves in the wrong places that drives me nuts which is why I straighten my hair every single day. I have experienced what heat[drugstore shampoos/products + GHD/CHI] does to your hair and so chopped off most of my length a while ago to start growing it out healthy [hence the PHYTO line of hair products - you gotta love em!].
This iron [&dryer] from T3 is awesome as I dont' see much heat damage after using it for a month[every single day] alongside PHYTO products.
Bottom Line: If you want to spend less time & energy on working with your hair BUT still get the style that lasts/worth the money you invest in these products, go for it!

Quick Take: effective
I've had the iron for a few weeks and am pleased so far. Not the absolutely best that I've ever used but it gets the jobs done quickly. I purchased the wet-or-dry but have only used it on dry hair. I like this iron because I don't feel like I'm damaging my hair since it has vents.

I bought this straightner because it was time for a new one. When i open it and use it for the first time, i love it. Its the best hair straightner i have ever used. It works fast. Normaly take like and hour and a half to straighten my hairBut with this one it only took me 40 minutes. I love this product. Its my favorite

Great results- 10.12.09
Fast, adjustable, light, great on damp hair, I've used mne for at least 6 months with NO damage on my thick wavy hair.
Towel or lightly blow dry first for fastest results. Using it with damp hair leaves my hair softer shinier with longer results, I find, than dry hair.
Would have given 5 stars but no auto shut off for us forgetful types.
Yes, it will make steam or sizzling sounds on wet hair, but for those of you afraid of "boiling" hair remember, water's boiling point (steam) is 212 degrees F, much less than the 400+ degrees many of these irons reach, so steam doesn't necessarily mean "burning".
Speaking of heat, also tried a GHD IV but returned it-- although I usually turn the heat way up on irons on my thick hair, the GHD was way too HOT and damaged my hair.

Quick Take: amazing
This is a pretty good straightener. I have really frizzy hair, and most straightening products cannot banish this friz. This thing not only straightens my hair, but banishes the poofiness of my hair. I'm completely in love with this :)
