I recently removed my acrylic nails only to reveal very thin, weak nails. I bought this to help strengthen my nails and it has helped. My nails feel harder, much less soft and weak like they were before application.

I am an avid nail biter, and I actually bought this to strengthen my nails after ripping a set of acrylic nails (ouch!). This product does what is says, and in terms of being used even as a base coat for a clear polish, it definitely made my manicure last a little longer!

I tryed the real O.P.I nail strangthener and, it strangthened my nails really well. But when I came to Sephora to get a refill of their virstion, I was less then pleased with it. I did'nt feel like it really did anything.

WOW! My nails were as soft as can be. They very rarely ever were the same length because they were constantly breaking off. I could actually bend even my thumb nails. I got this last week and my nails look and feel fantastic! I'm totally in love. I've tried others and they had no effect. Get this now! Seriously!!! Do it. (:

A good cover-up fix

This polish does a great job of temporarily healing my splitting nails. It's not a true fix (my nails are still brittle) but they look fantastic, without icky peeling or anything. Use it as a base coat or alone for a clean look.

Quick Take: effective
In their natural state, and without any harsh treatment, my fingernails split, and crack. Nail treatment/strenghtener actually stops all that. I use it alone or under colored polish and seldom are my nails without it because they start splitting and cracking within a couple of days when I don't use it. Yet I've used one bottle for over a year and haven't run out. I wish there were a Sephora store near my hometown because I'm too cheap to pay shipping charges for just one bottle.

I'm pretty obsessive about having chip-free nail polish on at all times and probably change colors twice a week or so. Needless to say, my nails really took a beating from this habit and were very weak, brittle, and practically peeling off. I bought this strengthener and decided to give them a breather for a few days. I've applied 3 coats over the last 2 days and my nails do look and feel a lot better already. not 100% sure how it will hold up in the long run, but for now it's a good fix to get my nails back into decent shape.

Quick Take: helping my nails to stay strong
This is a great preventative treatment for me. Although my nails are generally strong, we have a new puppy and I'm constantly washing my hands. With the cold winter weather, plus the dry heat, plus all the washing, I figured this could only help.
I never break nails, but did break a few when the puppy arrived - that was my signal to haul this out of my drawer, where it had been langusihing, unopened for some months. I've now been using this for about four weeks whenever I change my polish - maybe every few days - and I haven't broken a nail since. This is most likely helping my usually strong nails stay that way.

I had just about given up on have strong beautiful nails that I could paint awesome bold colours when I decided as a last resort to use the Sephora by O.P.I nail strengther. After one week I was able to see the difference of the toughness of my nails. Before my nails would break easily and it was difficult to grow them because they would be constantly breaking. You can also use it as a base coat which is great to keep you nails strong under your polish. Now that are strong healthy nails they are growing and not breaking and I can paint them any colour i want.
