Best. Sharpener. Ever.

This is my favorite eyeliner pencil sharpener EVER. It beautifully fulfills the first requirement of any pencil sharpener: it sharpens well, gives you a bit if a tip, without sacrificing tons of the pencil. Second, I always know where it is: on the end of my Forever Makeup eyeliner pencil. Which brings me to my third point: it takes up very little space in my makeup bag.

Quick Take: well-made
This is such a clever little tool! I don't currently use too many pencils that need regular sharpening, but this is still indispensable. It stores right on the pencil, so you're never scrambling looking for it, and it's got pretty solid construction. This is definitely one of those things I never thought I needed, but am glad to have.

Don't we all just love that Sephora pencils have to be sharpened with Sephora sharpeners ... It's fine, though, because I didn't have any sharpeners anyway. This particular one is great because it fits right on the end of a pencil! I tend to lose things easily (I lost the lid to our container of oatmeal yesterday ... that was embarrassing), so being able to stick this on the back of a pencil is wonderful for me -- not only do I have the sharpener WITH the liner, but the pencil and sharpener both are then longer and that much harder to lose. If I happen to lose it, then I lose the eyeliner too, which is also convenient: I don't have to worry about sharpening something I can't find. An added bonus is the price: if I manage to permanently lose it, I'm only out $2. Maybe I should stock up and get one for every liner I own, since my collection seems to be growing ...

I ordered the Sephora eye pencils for myself and my granddaughter. But as we used them, and needed to sharpen the pencils (there wasn't one that fit). These do work.

This is a nice, small pencil sharpener, approximately 2 inches in length, that has a great cap to keep the blade safe and clean for storage. This only comes in one size, for thin pencils, so if you have a pencil that is a wider width (i.e. chubby/chunky) then you're out of luck, hence minus one star.

i bought two of these. luckily i only used one. i returned the one i did not use. it is AWFUL. does not sharpen. it just kept breaking the point. the concept is great. fix it so it works

Perhaps I'm using the wrong brand of Sephora eyeliner for this sharpener, but it is too small for the pencil to fit in properly, making sharpening it near impossible & a waste of legitimate product. Although the cost is enticing, I would definitely avoid.

I bought one as an experiment and ended up buying one for every eye pencil I have. Now I never have to dig into the bottom of the makeup drawer to find my sharpener when I need it!
