Quick Take: fabulous, non-drying
This is wonderful, too good to be true. I used to use clinique powder to set my makeup, but that was so drying and would leave creases in my makeup by the end of the day. This stila powder is great! Makeup looks flawless even by end of a loooong day, and my skin feels soft and not dry at all. Highly recommend

This is my favorite powder I've ever used. When you put it on your face, it feels cool (the hydration I guess) and smooth. It stays on all day, doesn't cause my skin to be oily and makes my skin looks flawless! Worth the money!

It says hydrating but I find it was drying.... it was also very messy but that was expected seeing as it is a loose powder. A little goes a long way so have a light hand.

This powder really feels like I'm wearing nothing! It goes on so smooth over my makeup and looks flawless. I saw that other reviewers had said that it was beige and not translucent. This is true. If you have fair skin, this may look a little orange on you. But for an olive skinned gal, this is perfect!

I was recommended this powder when I ran out of my makeup for ever loose powder, which they don't sell in stores. I was hoping it would be transparent because I have fair skin, especially in fall and winter, but this was a very dark beige on me and I had to blend and put on my neck to make it not look bad. I would not recommend this to anyone who is not very tan all year long.

This is a very fine milled powder that lays down a beautiful finish using either a puff or a brush - it practically makes my pores disappear - and since I have a tan right now the tint is welcome, most of the very fine finishing powders I have and love are all very pale and even though they are supposed to be transparent, they still tend to 'ghost' on my skin when it's darker.

I was recommended this powder by a Sephora employee when talking about makeup for dry skin. After using it a few times, I am not thoroughly convinced I like it and will most likely return this.
What I do like is that it's glides nicely onto my skin and does keep my dry skin from looking parched.
What I don't like is that it is a beige color. I have quite fair skin and I like to keep it as such. My makeup is to even out my skin, not give it color. Sadly, this gives my skin a slight orange tint. If this was colorless, or at least came in different shades, it would be a winner.
Also, the packaging is horrendous. Even the Sephora employee complained about how it got everywhere.
If you have a skin tone with more warmth to it, I would probably recommend this. Especially if you have dry skin. But for us fair skinned sisters that embrace our lack of pigmentation, the search continues.

I love the powder. i love the color and it covers nicely. It's a great setting powder. The packaging makes it messy and virtually impossible to carry in my makeup bag. Whenever I open the bag, powder is EVERYWHERE.

I am in my 50's and I use this producet over my Laura Mercier Sand tinted Moisturizer - I have brown hair and hazel eyes and pale complextion. This looks natural and feels great.

This powder makes my face feel incredibly soft, which I love. Took away one star for the packaging, and I will second the reviews that have said it can get too orangey if it's not applied very lightly. However, it's great for finishing my look without drying my skin so I recommend it and will buy it again.

This is a nice enough finishing powder, but as far as I can tell it's nothing special. I'm not terribly fond of the beige shade, as when I layer a little too much on any one spot it tends to get orangey, giving my oily nose an orange tint while the rest of my face looks normal. Also, while it's meant to be hydrating, I find that it doesn't do much for my combination skin, which means that I have an over-powdered orangey nose but flaking and obvious dry patches on my cheeks. The container isn't terribly travel-friendly, as even when the dispensing holes are in the closed position powder still seeps into the top compartment, so I've occasionally spilt product when opening the container. I recently tried the Urban Decay powder in store and appreciated the white (rather than beige) tint, and it also did much more to cover the large pores that are visible on my nose. Overall, it was an okay buy and an okay powder, but I won't buy it again.

has a nice finish but clumps up in certain areas of my face, such as on a pimple? im not sure if im applying too much. its kinda messy but will do for now. its alot of product. i have really dry skin and i feel like it sets my liquid foundation well but i do get shiny after a few hours but i dont mind that. ive only had it for two weeks soo we'll see!

I was looking for a product that would provide a natural look. I wanted to set my makeup, but I didn't want to look overly made up. This product was my answer. When I use it, I have a beautiful glow. It's very light, and it's very silky. I fell in love with this in the store when I applied some to my wrist. When I brushed my finger over top of where I'd applied it, I found that my skin felt super silky. I've loved it ever sine then. It provides light coverage, yet it controls oil throughout the day. Use this if you want a natural look. If you want full coverage though, look elsewhere.

Overall disappointed with this powder and I'm a huge Stila fan! Even with foundation and concealer, I don't feel like this powder provides any coverage or really anything at all. Kind of a waste in my opinion.

Love this powder! i had been having a hard time finding a powder to set my foundation without looking cakey, settling into fine lines, or just looking like powder was sitting on top of my face. I have dry skin and this powder seems to just melt right in.
