Quick Take: lightweight, fast-absorbing, smells fresh and nice!
I have used Laura Mercier Primer as well as Smashbox Photofinish primer. HD Primer costs less and I think makes my skin look younger and fresher than both the above-mentioned products (both of which I liked, by the way). I use Laura Mercier foundation/ concealer, but may try this line when my supply runs out.

My second purchase and love the product. Started to buy one of the "natural" primers, but hated to mess with perfection. Maybe MUFE will go there next. Makes applying liquid foundation go on with a brush so easy.

This product is fantastic! I use the Green corrector because I have a slight bit of red in my skin. It feels great on and really evens out my skintone. My makeup looks better when I use this product. I can't live without it now!

Didn't conceal redness as well as the drugstore stuff and had a thin, wet consistency that didn't really work for me as a primer either. Maybe I just need thicker spackle, but for my pretty-good skin, this wasn't worth ... I was going to say the money, but frankly it wasn't worth the bother of putting it on.

I use this with the bare minerals matte powder foundation and it helps the foundation stay on for a long time. I normally have really oily complexion and this helps me stay shine-free for close to 6 hours (that's pretty amazing for my skin type).
On top of all that, it actually smells really good too.

This primer is fabulous, my search for the perfect primer has finally ended. I have an unfortunate rosacea problem, so I decided to buy the "1 Green", and let me tell you, it's simply divine. It's a true godsend, and I don't know how I lived without it before.
I use the MUFE HD foundation [in 110 Porcelain Pink], which is an amazing foundation, another thing I highly recommend purchasing. But even with that, I found that I needed to add a little extra where I have the rosacea, and I didn't like it. Because the foundation is lightweight and full coverage, so if I wanted a not-so-lightweight foundation, I would have chosen something else.
This primer is absolutelty perfect added with the HD foundation, however, you can put it with anything else and it will turn out great. I highly recommend it, it's worth every penny.

I wear makeup from 6:00 am to 7-8 pm and with this primer it looks as good from 6 am to 8 pm. I don't freshen or reapply my makeup during the day, I don't have time. I have normal to dry skin and it doesn't dry my skin out. Works real well with eye makeup with alot of color pigment to go on and stay just like it looks on the palate.
