It was my first time using Make Up Forever products. This primer it good, I really like it. It doesn't make my skin oily after a while. Well not as oily as when I use other primers. The only thing is that I don't like the wet feeling that I get when I apply it.

Quick Take: lightweight
I have the blue version because I have occasional redness. It definitely evens out skin tone, but it does nothing to keep makeup on my combination skin. I live in an extremely hot and humid climate, so that probably doesn't help. So far as I can tell, it's more of a moisturizer. Probably great if you have dry skin and uneven tone, but not for oilier complexions.

This primer goes on so smooth and you need to use so little. I have acne prone, very light and sensitive skin. Although since using the Clarisonic Mia I have not had a breakout, this product seems very gentle and skin friendly, not oily at all. Its not a matte finish but its not shiny either. It gives me a healthy look to my skin and micro perfects my pores and imperfections. It feels refreshing and although its green, it goes on a very light shade, just enough to counteract the redness but not turn you into a green alien. It does not show through the BB cream I use at all. It hides the redness on the bridge of my nose, chin and cheeks that I get when its very warm out. It doesn't completely cover the red but makes it less noticeable and much easier to cover with BB cream or foundation and I do not have to use a concealer on it afterwards. Definitely a keeper.

Quick Take: shiny, resists makeup, non-absorbing
I put it on clean skin and waited for it to absorb... and waited and...It takes a while to sink in and my skin was shiny after application. This did not bode well as I have a shiny t-zone normally. I dabbed a bit of mattifier on the t-zone and the primer made it ball up in little crumbs. I even tried to use the matching HD foundation and three hours later, my makeup is resisting and settling into small creases, and my face is shiny all over. In sum, this product seems like a moisturizer with no other benefits. It doesn't even out skin tone, doesn't absorb well or absorb oil, and doesn't enhance makeup application. I threw away the sample i received. Two benefits from trying this product: my face is very moisturized and I know what not to buy.

Quick Take: lightweight
I swear by the yellow primer. I've been traveling tons lately and my skin has been looking dull and tired. A quick coat of the yellow primer under my skin makes me look so much more aware and keeps my makeup in place all day. I love it. It also lasts me a long time.

This primer is very silky going on, but I notice no benefit from wearing it. If anything, my makeup looks shiny hours later, then starts wearing away quicker than if I don't use the primer.

I liked how lightweight is product felt and was impressed by how even application of my foundation was after using it, but it did nothing in terms of holding makeup in place. I felt like it actually caused my makeup to slide off my face faster than usual. I'm probably returning this

This product keeps my make-up looking smooth and even all day long. I ran out for a bit before I was able to get to the store to purchase a new one, and I hated putting on make-up without this great product on my skin first. Definitely a great first step for make-up application.

This is one of the best primers I've used in a long time!!! It doesn't break me out and absorbs into my skin almost immediately and I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. (So fun and awesome, right?) If you're on the fence try and get a sample! I'm 99% sure if your skin is like mine you'll love it!

I learned this trick from the Sephora consultant. Now that its getting warmer and I use self tanners, I needed a new foundation to match the new color - and was getting nowhere. She suggested the n.4 primer - now I use it mixed with my mosturizer for a hint of color, or mixed with my foundation to match myself tanned skin color. Brilliant!!

Feel a certain confidience in my look after several reviews and ravs I've read. I took the opportunity to experience what read. I never used primer in my routine. I have combination skin and just used moisturizer. I went through a few different brands of foundation, if only I knew now what I didn't know then. Live and learned. My foundation now looks flawless like satin.

I tried the original primer. Works like a charm!! I have extremely oily skin and my make up never ever stays in place! I love that i can use this as a moisturizer and a primer at the same time! By the end of my shift my make up is still intact. My eyelids are a little oily and the eyeshadow creases by the end if the day but I thinks that' its big improvement from all the other primers I've tried!
