Just what I wanted!
-05.18.13
Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair, easy to hold and use
I am NOT very skilled with makeup, to begin, so I was hesitant about changing from my current makeup brush I've used for blush the past 5 years. But it was leaving me with black whiskers that I had to pick off with tweezers - not much fun. The Kabuki brush has transformed my blush application - wish I had known about it years ago. Very soft, picks up blush well, and applies smoothly, blending into makeup.

Excellent

Excellent brush. So so soft, very easy to apply, feels like a real good quality brush. I use it along the Makeup Forever powder, my makeup stays nice all day and it is an easy and fun step to do in the morning.

I now have 3 of these!
-05.10.13
Quick Take: soft bristles, blends beautifully
I love this brush, so much that I have bought 3. It does a wonderful job with powder, but I really love it with the Urban Decay Bronzer/Blush combo. Super soft, easy to clean (unlike UD brushes) and applies product evenly.

I love this blush brush!
-05.06.13
The first time I used this brush I was hooked. The biggest difference I see in using this brush vs. the other blush brush I was using is- when I use this brush to put on blush, the blush has flawlessly blended edges. It blends so smoothly into the face, and looks like a makeup artist did it. I have had my makeup done by makeup artists many, many times because I am a model. I could never figure out how they were able to do makeup so nice and I couldn't. Now I know the importance of using the right "equipment" to get the job done right! I dab the brush lightly onto my powdered blush, then dab off a little excess blush onto the back of my hand, and put the blush on in a circular motion. This brush is meant to be used in a circular motion. It looks so nice! There is another pointed kabuki brush that is softer, however that one is for foundation, not blush.

Very Nice
-04.26.13
Really like this brush. Very soft, and love the bag it comes with so I can throw it in my purse. I bought the HD MUFE complexion starter kit and it came with the same brush. Now I'll have a replacement brush if something happens to the first one. Easy to clean.

REALLY amazing brush! But the first time I washed it, it cracked? I didn't spend $40 for a brush to crack the first time I wash it! AND I clean it just like all my other brushes.

a MUST have!
-02.25.13
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I have never really used brushes for make-up. I have always found my fingers and sponge applicators to work better. But, my husband is an artist and photographer, and told me that I probably just had not used GOOD brushes. (I have always been low-maintenance.) Once I started using high quality brushes, I was hooked and had a new interest in actually caring about my make-up! When we were at Sephora, my husband insisted I purchase the NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder, after a thorough explanation of light and reflection (I have been getting I.D.ed now to buy wine at nearly 40!). He then searched the store for the perfect brush, and found this one. I have been thoroughly pleased with both products. This brush has been great for both the pressed powder I purchased, as well as the loose HD powder I already had. As I said in my NARS powder review- you know it's a great product when your HUSBAND INSISTS that you get it!!!

Love it
-02.06.13
A great all around brush. I'm not a big brush geek, so I have to admit I didn't even know what a Kabuki brush was, but I went with it because the reviews were so good. The only criticism I have is that it's pretty stiff - I'm used to a much fluffier brush. But I've gotten used to it, and really like it. So far, it hasn't shed at all.

I bought this for a friend for Christmas. She LOVES it. Not only is it super soft but it has a really handy pouch to keep it in, so you can just throw it in your handbag any time and not worry it will get damaged!

Makes All The Difference!
-12.27.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I didn't believe all the hype about what a difference good make-up brushes make with foundation and concealer, but it's true! This kabuki brush makes the HD foundation go on flawlessly and smooth. Since using it, I get compliments quite often about how bright and smooth my face looks. Love it! However, the base did crack after only 4 months, but it didn't affect the the brush's functionality; it's just something I think the manufacturer/designer should look into for such a pricey item.
Also, I don't understand the last review I read, "I used to love it." If you've had the brush several years, of course it's not going to be as soft as when you bought it!?!

Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
While I love the brush part of this kabuki, over time the base has cracked in several places which is why I am only giving it 4 stars. I really hope it holds up because I love how soft it is. It is one of the best Kabuki brushes I have ever purchased.
