Dries out skin

I have oily combination skin and bought this during the summer time. However, after 3-4 users this has started to dry out my skin slightly. You need the tiniest amount and it lathers up like crazy. This should not be used as a daily cleanser.

A little about me: I have combination skin, oily t-zone and dry cheeks. Blemish prone skin. Tan very easily thanks to my olive skin.
I got a sample of this and liked it so much I decided to buy the full size. I've used all different brands of cleansers from low end to very high end ($75 and up) but I like this particular one for several reasons.

One, it's hard to squeeze out. I'm sure your wondering why I appreciate the fact that it's hard to get out and that's because I always squeeze out more than the pea sized amount that I need and thereby waste a bunch of product. This dosent break your hand when you try to squeeze it out, rather it just comes out more slowly.
Two, it's very thick. I don't need to use alot because it's very concentrated meaning I get more bang for my buck. Some of the cleansers I have used have seemed watered down but not this baby. It spreads all over your face.
Three, I like the fact that it clears off all my thick makeup. I like to pack on the pancake and usually have to use a bunch of toner and cotton pads to wipe off residual makeup left behind by my cleansers but this clears it all off. It does have a nice soft scent and I haven't broken out since using this product.
The only negative thing I have to say about this cleanser is that it can be slightly too good at cleaning, not only stripping away makeup but the oils in my skin as well. My face sometimes literally squeaks when I rub it much like when you wash dishes and the detergent makes the dishes squeaky clean. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I would not recommend this for those with sensitive/dry skin.

I recently purchased this cleanser to use along with the Lancome Toner (blue bottle) to use in my daily routine. It says exactly what it does from creme to foam. After you wash off the foam, your skin feels clean and soft. It doesnt make your skin smell like your grandma's face cream. I used to use Christine Dior skin products but they discontinued my toner and were on the pricey side. Lancome is reasonable for the product and a little goes a long way.

So far after using for a couple weeks I really like it. Don't need to use much since the foaming effect works great and is abundant with such a smal amount. My face feels thoroughly cleansed, at first I though it would be too harsh but so far my skin is still soft with no breakouts due to dryness.

Heavy and leaves a residue

I hated it! While it does remove make up (though I don't wear much so most cleansers remove my make up just fine) this cleanser leaves a very thick layer of residue on my skin. It feels so cheap and heavy, and despite the residue it doesn't even feel moisturizing (which one might think is what the "residue" is). I have normal skin btw. I was happier with cheap drug store brands over this. I use it because it cost so much money but I always feel the need to follow up with a toner to get rid of the nasty feeling, and I otherwise don't use toner. So disappointing!

I have been using this cleanser for years. It is really concentrated so it lasts forever and it smells great. I have had acne prone skin for a long time and this cleanser is very gentle but it still wipes away all of my make up (with some help from my clairsonic).

I love this cleanser. My skin is pretty sensitive. I wear a light foundation, powder eye shadow, blush and this cleanser takes it all right off at the end of the night. You only need about a 1/4 of a dime and it lathers up into a rich foam. The best cleanser I've ever used!

Quick Take: luxurious
I use the cleanser paired with my Clarisonic Aria. Skin feels squeaky clean after use, even without the Aria. I have noticed my skin tone is brighter so it seems to be working. The cream is very thick and lathers up nicely. The smell is wonderful too.

Received it as a gift from my Secret Santa and it's truly the best cleanser I've ever used. I have combination sensitive skin so I'm very limited in what I can use for cleansers. This cleanser takes my waterproof makeup off without any effort and leaves my skin clean, supple and soft. I almost want to say that it calms my skin. I'm a very low maintenance gal so this all-in-one cleanser is perfect for my daily routine.

This product is unlike any other. First of all, it leaves your skin squeaky clean! (literally, you can feel lit). that's the whole point of a cleanser right? to CLEAN! The best thing is, this cleanser doesn't dry your skin out AT ALL. It is very gentle to the skin and it lathers extremely well. It is going to take me forever to finish this tube because every time I wash my face I use a VERY small amount. Well worth the price AND benefits the skin!

This is probably my favorite beauty product of all time. I got hooked on a sample and have been buying it since, and probably always will. It doesn't burn or leave my skin feeling tight like many cleansers. It's gentle, smells great, and leaves my face feeling smooth, clean, and looking flawless. I recommend it to anyone with oily or acne prone skin. I have a combination skin type, and I love that this product doesn't overdry, yet takes care of oilyness. It is worth every penny, and a little goes a long way!
