What I love is that water-proof makeup melts away. I have combination skin that responds to the change in seasons. Superb in the dry winter months also calming in the warmer seasons.
A new standard in my skincare.

I used to use Philosphy Puirty cleansing oil but this gives you way more product for the same price. Huge bottle and it really nice that it has a pump so the oil doesn't spill everywhere like a squeeze bottle. I have oily skin and my skin feels fresh and clean without feeling oily. It's left moisturized and smells really fresh. I will definitely be back for more!

I bought this and was not able to read ingredients until it arrived. The FIRST ingredient is MINERAL OIL!! YUCK. no wonder it removes waterproof mascara, but so does baby oil from the dollar store. Cheap ingredient that is bad for your skin. I'm returning this one. For this price it should have much better ingredients. and Sephora, PLEASE list ingredients for EVERY product!

Quick Take: thorough, skin softening
This cleanser is easy to use and THOROUGH. It takes off ALL my makeup, including my multiple layers of mascara! Somehow, it even magically cleans away the eyeliner I put inside my eye on the bottom lid. I will use this cleanser exclusively for as long as Lancome continues to produce it.

I tried this one a whim while doing theatre because I needed a cleanser that would remove heavy stage makeup. I was blown away how easily is all came off without stinging my eyes or feeling goopy.
Now I have oily skin but I never broke out from this product. I massage it into my skin and over my eyes and rinse with water and than follow with my Clinique Oily skin soap (because a makeup remover is NOT a cleanser) and I feel great. The value is awesome because it replaced my eye makeup remover and facial makeup remover. It also has a very gentle fragance.
This is a score for me from Lancome!

I use WATERPROOF mascara. I've tried a lot of removers and this has worked the best. I've used a cotton ball and wash cloth, but my fingers are the gentlest and most effective.
I recomend taking out your contact lenses first and washing the rest of your face AFTER you use the remover.

Quick Take: the best
I love, love, love this cleanser. It is a one-stop product that removes all makeup, water-proof included. Plus, it doesn't strip the moisture out of your skin, but doesn't leave it oily either. Simply the BEST!!!

I tried a lot of cleansing oils 'till I found this one about 3 years ago. I love this product. It removes all of my makeup including waterproof mascara. My skin never feels oily or dry after it.

Quick Take: foamy, gentle, smoothing, removing
Great remover to take off stubborn eye makeup and even lash glue without leaving heavy residue or a greasy feeling. Definitely should follow up with another cleanser to remove any leftover oil but won't cause break outs and is hydrating with great anti oxidant protection!

Quick Take: removes face makeup
I love the smell and look of Lancôme products, they're a luxury product for my routine. This oil I use to "loosen" up my face makeup before I clarisonic. Makes my skin feel soft although I tried on my eyes and did not work well at removing mascara. I'll stick to only using this on my face.

I have to be honest that Lancome's Absolue Premium Foamy Cream Cleanser is still the best cleanser out there although Lancome's Huile Douceur is quite unique and the experience you get from this cleanser is wonderful. I have an oily face ( I tried Pure Focus it left my skin so dry- not good if you wash your face 2-3x a day). To those who haven't tried the Huile Douceur yet, here's the best way to use it. Apply 1-2 squirts on your face and gently massage it (I love the sensation when I'm doing it especially when you had a long, tiring day. The warmth from the oil and the lovely scent is quite relaxing). Next, gently wet your hands with small amount of water and dab it on your face- continue massaging your face until the oil turn into a creamy liquid- then rinse it with warm water. It's a very light cleanser and won't leave your skin tight. I use it 2-4 times a day.

Quick Take: no eye irritation, non-greasy
Nice product. Washes off all makeup, including heavy eye makeup without the sting of cleanser. Rinses clean without oily residue. Nice light smell - convenient pump so you don't overuse. The only thing bad is the price - pretty expensive, but most things at Sephora are!

Amazing Face-wash!

Quick Take: creamy oil
This face-wash is awesome! It smells great, and the consistency of it isn't too thick or too milky. Two pumps are more than enough to cover your whole face, and it easily takes off your eye makeup with a little massaging. I use this wash in the evening and then put a lotion on after using it, and even though I have somewhat oily sensitive skin, my face feels amazing after I wash it in the morning. Normally my skin is much too dry and feels raw after washing but with this oil I have seen a dramatic improvement. I would highly recommend this product.

easily removes all face and eye make up, love it! skin feels soft after, not greasy. removed even my super tough liquid waterproof tokidoki eyeliner. love that it creams up a bit after you add a little water. smells nice too, perfect product.
