Quick Take: natural, stays on until you wash it off
I have used powder, powder with gel, gel without powder and thought the pencil would be too heavy but I was very pleasantly surprised. I can finally stop wondering what my brows will look like because I know they'll look DONE.

I have dark hair but I got the one for blonde hair cuz I lightened my hair,but as soon as my hair faded,I obviously need a brunette one lol. It still works for me cuz ysl is amazing but I cant have dirty blonde brows with dark hair. Ill get the right shade next time I go. By the way its very waxy and doesnt brush out very well...put it in the right spot,cuz its annoying to brush out after.

Quick Take: long lasting, natural
I've been using this product in dark brown ever since I first started using make up. I'm asian and have dark brown hair. this product makes my eyes pop up and they look natural as well. I get tons of compliments on it. I usually use this to define my brows and then use eyebrow cake to fill it in.

Quick Take: not soft enough for an eyebrown pencil
Don't waste your time and money to order. This is an expensive pencil with hard lead. I found it next to impossible to draw on either my brows to fill in or on my skin to lengthen my brows.

Quick Take: natural, long lasting, enchances
Finally, a brow pencil for asians! All the brow pencils and kits out there for "dark-haired" people are dark brown, and that just doesn't work for asians. Our brows are not brown. The Ash shade blends in really well with my brows, and it enhances them so they don't have that drawn-on look. The YSL makeup artist who introduced this product to me says he uses the Ash shade on everyone. The pencil is also very creamy and soft, and lasts a long time.

PERFECT COLOR MATCH!

Quick Take: natural, long lasting, great color matching, easily applied
I searched far and wide for a eyebrown pencil color that matched me and this was the winner. Other pencils were either too brown undertone or too black undertone that made me look Joan Crawford-ish. I have olive skin and black hair and the Ash color REALLY worked well for me and looks great, very natural. Goes on beautifully and stays put too. Only thing I DON'T like about it is that the pencil itself doesn't stay sharp very long. I'm constantly sharpening it which wastes a lot of the product. Other than that, it's a keeper.

Quick Take: natural, long lasting
This is the first brow pencil I've ever bought and I am so pleased with the results! It deposits just enough color to fill the gaps in my brows without making them look unnatural. The product stays put even after I hit the gym! I'll definitely be buying this again.

I have black hair and sparse eyebrows. This is the perfect color for filling them in...I've looked at every brand and really this one goes on so beautifully. My eyebrows look fuller without being too heavy and drawn-on.
I am loving YSL right now.

Quick Take: natural
The color matches well with my highlighted Asian hair. Ease of application is just okay. It's wax, so it will pull on the hair and skin, but it doesn't really hurt. It stays on area with hair well, but comes off within an hour or two at the tail end of my eyebrows, where I have very few brows left

Quick Take: natural, long lasting, water resistant
This is really great pencil, both with color and application. First pencil I've found that actually matches completely my eyebrow color and doesn't have to be completely meshed into my skin. The little brush on the end is really nice too, not too firm and it's gentle enough for my super sensitive skin.

I have been looking for a eyebrow pencil with the perfect color for such a long time. I found it!!! It also has staying power. I have dark blond hair and blue eyes, but my eyebrows are ash in color. Every time I would go to buy a eyebrow pencil it was always to dark or to blond. I hope Yves Saint Laurent never ever changes this one all important stable to my routine.

Quick Take: natural, long lasting
This product goes on very smoothly, has a bit of ash tone to it and blends into the color of truly dark brunette hair which can be more blue based than red. The last pencil I used, Anastasia, has a bit too much red in it and the YSL pencil doesn't, it's perfect. Can't tell I have pencil in the brows to thicken up the look at all. A keeper!

Love this pencil! I’ve been looking for something to fill in my thin and short eyebrows and this has been perfect! I’ve tried things that smudge, wipe off, and others that are just not the right color or volume. I get so many compliments when I use this one, no joke! Can’t say it enough-- LOVE THIS! Will definitely repurchase.

Quick Take: not natural for people who have black eyebrows
Product gives great definition to eyebrows, however, the color"Ash" came off metalic when applied. Will have to explore a different shade.
This is the only shade offered in the line besides a dark brown...which my eyebrows are not.
I felt it was a bit pricey for the job it's suppose to do.

Quick Take: natural, long lasting
I love this pencil!! It may be the color I use (#4), but it gives a natural look and finish, while still providing a well defined brow. The pencil is a perfect consistency, not too soft, which smears and not too hard, which does nothing. I have tried a lot of different brow products and this has been a wonderful find.
