Gorgeous!

Quick Take: portable, smooth, blends easily
I am a newly minted YSL fan, after buying the Tawny palette from this product line by mistake (lucky me!). The colors in this palette are similar to Tarina Tarantino Jewel Eyeshadow Palette in Fantastical, which could be a cheaper dupe for this palette and is also sold at Sephora. Between the two, I prefer this palette more. The colors are richly pigmented, go on smoothly and blend easily. The pinks and purples in this palette are cool colors and, while I tend to prefer warmer colors, these still work well on me. I haven't had much luck applying the shadows in this palette or the Tawny one from this line with water. Nevertheless, they are gorgeous, shimmery and totally elegant. Perfect for the office and everyday.

Quick Take: good value
Totally worth the splurge! Blends wonderfully and lasts all day. I plan on getting #3 as well because I loved this one so much. You get the five shadows so if you break down the price this really isn't that much more money then other brand name shadows...plus they are a good size.

Quick Take: portable
I'm a makeup junky. Usually I use chanel or lancome but thought I would give YSL a try. I was surprised how long the color lasts with no creasing at the end of a long day. The colors go on light but at 52 yrs of age I like the lighter coverage. The indian pink collection is more of a maroon color, not purple. I also bought the lilac pallette because I was impressed with my 1st purchase. These are beautiful eyeshadows and would recommend you give YSL a try.

Like something out of National Geographic magazine

Quick Take: expensive, exotic, quality
I don't use this pallet as much as I thought I would. I just had to buy it though. I think I was obsessed with the name Indian Pink. It brought to mind images of a sudden burst of pink in the pages of a National Geographic magazine. The color on the bottom left is excellent for every day use - even if you don't employ the others for shading and emphasis. I couldn't find that bright, bright pink in the bottom right anywhere else! I tried - this pallet is expensive! I mean, e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e-! That said, I'm keeping it and I love it - it's quality for the price. Works best with a primer!

Nice color combination with a touch of shimmer

1. However, buy a primer, the colors darken and fade with wear.
2. They go on beautifully though.
3. The sponge brushes are typical and useless to me, be sure to buy eye shadow brushes.
4. I love the bright pink, it's exactly what I was looking for. I use it on the crease of my eye for a mod look.
5. The bottom right purple goes on quite dark, take it easy and build the color you want.
6. The center highlighter color isn't quite light enough... you may need to add another, lighter shade to your brow bone and inner eye.

Quick Take: portable, good value, beautiful, easy to use, versitile
I have blue eyes and wear quite a bit of browns and golds, but when i stumbled upon this palette I could resist. This is my new go too color palette, it works great for a day time look and is so sultry and sexy at night time as well. When all of my friends see this product they immediately tell me they are going to run out and buy one!

Elegant pinks. The complimentary shades to blue (orange and pink) can be tricky. This palette has it right.
It is a bit pricey, but you get five shadows that some makeup artist has already coordinated for you. This makes my morning routine so much faster. Just open the palette and GO!

These colors really bring out the green eyes. I like the soft pinks. They are so subtle. The darker colors are rich and lasting. I can still see my eyeshadows after a long day of running around.

I purchased this a year ago and it s been my favoruite eyeshadow ever. i use it everyday to work, or on the weekends. it matches my bronze complexion. i always get complements on my make up. a great investment! would recommend strongly.

Quick Take: good value, long wearing, great colors
I LOVE this shadow. The colors are perfect for hazel eyes. I use the pink for lids, plum (underneath pink) for crease and white (middle color) to highlight under brow and inside corners. This really brings out the eye color. This lasts longer than all day - never needs touch up. If they discontinue this palette, I'm in trouble!!

This is by far the nicest eyeshadow I have ever purchased. They go on so perfectly and look lovely on. I have tried other shadows in this color group and they haven't worked out well. I tried these on in the store and loved them instantly. They go from day to night well and from basic to shimmery. I am going to try more of YSL's shadow palettes in spite of the initial shell out. I really like to buy palette's because the price per shadow works out well, and there is less waste, but so often only one or two of the colors work. Every color here is very wearable. I am taking this on my next trip!

Quick Take: good value, portable
My eyes can either be dark blue-teal, or green depending on what colors I'm wearing. I wanted to expand my shadow wardrobe to include purples to bring out the green in my eyes, and one of the associates in Sephora showed me this one. I tried a shade on and immediately knew it was of great quality because it went on smooth and had great pigment. It's totally worth the retail amount $50-60 because I use the palette regularly and am having fun trying different eye looks with it.

The texture of the shadows is great, and the color intensity is amazing. Unfortunately, the colors themselves seem to be more red than plum; I tried out this palette, I got comments along the lines of "why are your eyes red? Have you been crying?" -- not quite what I was going for. The palette went back immediately!

This one is one of my favorite set of colors from ysl shadow collection. It's a bit more versatile than the other palettes, since this one appears less straight forward monochrome. One of the darker colors look very purple but they are more towards reddish rather than purple. The shadows glide on and blend easily. The subtle simmer in all the shadows create a very pretty look. The different sized shadow applicators make it easier to either create thiner or thicken lines. Though the shadows are quite pigmented they'll lose their vibrancy throughout the day. Quite simply, they are beautiful but doesn't last all day, try using primer.
