Quick Take: pretty to look at
I love this eyeshadow pallette!! They all compliment my skin tone. The only one that's hard to show up in pigment is the gold. I have to put a couple applications on. The applicators are spongey, you would think with the hefty price, you'd get better quality applicators.

Beautiful colors but doesn't stay too well- 08.15.09
Tawny is beautifully coordinated. I immediately fell in love with the colors. All the shadow have a beautiful subtle shimmer to them. The compact is also very luxurious, I love the choice of gold. There is also a generous amount of shadow.
Con: The shadows are not very rich, with the sponge applicator or with a professional brush. It also does not stay on vibrant the whole day, it will eventually crease. With a primer it may be great. A bit disappointing since I really wanted to love Ysl.

Excellent eyeshadow- 06.04.09
Quick Take: worth the money
I love this eyeshadow! It is definitely "highly pigmented" -- shows up better than the Bobbi Brown I was using. I use a combination of the colors, but always the beautiful brown. I am pale with red hair and the color is the best I've found for my coloring. Plus, it lasts all day. One heads up, it is very shimmery, so if you want matte, this palette is not for you. However, I figure life is short, you might as well wear sparkly eye shadow!

Quick Take: good value, sexy warm beautiful colors for all year round...
I came across this when -i could not buy the dior gold quad palette it was out of stock. It is great find as I have brown eyes and the colors really make my eyes pop... it a little expensive but you get quality over quanity....

Great colors. Each one has a little sparkle that is not overwhelming. Each coordinates with the others in the group. You can apply it lightly in layers till you reach the desired effect. I even went back to buy another one.

Exactly what I've been looking for- 01.14.09
Quick Take: good value, portable, vibrant but buildable colors, subtle shimmer, perfect brown/golden shades
YSL always makes great products but this one was perfect. I have been looking for these exact colors and to find it in a set is wonderful. To anyone who thinks it is pricey don't, the set is not small and if i was able to find them separately they would cost a the very least $10-12 and if I had to buy five it would come to the same price. I was a little worried about the shimmer because I am just not a women who loves sparkles, however they are so subtle and it actually gives the colors something extra I did not expect and something I usually do not want, but actually loved in these colors. I would give six stars if I could, and now I can't wait until summer when I can get a tan.

Beautiful golden browns...- 12.26.08

After purchasing my first YSL's Five Color Harmony for Eyes Palette, I became hooked and went back and bought them all. This "Tawny" palette is packed with absolutely incredible shades of browns and golds. The eyeshadow is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. These shadows glide on smoothly, are easy to blend, are crease resistent, silky soft and long lasting (even on my oily skin). Yes, they are a little pricey, but you're getting five great coordinating eyeshadows that'll last a long time so it's really a marvelous value. This is truly high quality eyeshadow...it's some of the best I've ever used.

Quick Take: beautiful colors, well matched
My long search for the perfect eyeshadow is now over. I'm extremely particular, and I've been specifically looking for warm colors that compliment my deep green eyes. Not only are these colors perfectly matched for my eyes, but the neutral colors compliment my complexion excellently. I also couldn't be happier with the quality. YSL is expensive, but so completely worth the money.

Very nice, The colors are not very dark or heavy very light shimmer. Which I like, the shimmer is not very heavy. But I think the brown could be a little more darker when applied.
