Green that is not too glittery

Quick Take: portable, good value
I tried every green eye shadows in Sephora, and YSL comes with two diff shades and the least glittery. The 5 colors blend flawlessly, if you want more glitter just add the silver. Great quality, and beautiful packaging. Makes a girl feel like a million bucks.

Very pretty eyeshadows. They are rich and lasting. There is enough sparkle without being too sparkly. The darker shades work well as eyeliner as well.

perfect greens

This palette has the perfect shades of green to compliment green eyes. The colors never look muddy and have a slight shimmer however the light greens need to be applied wet to get the color to look the same on as they do in the palette. overall I am happy with the product.

YSL - green eye shadows

Quick Take: portable, good value
I like the colors of this palette but the eyeshadows are creasing and I have to start using eyeshadow primer. I'm big fan of Dior eyeshadows and YSL is not as good as Dior. If you are looking for good quality palette buy Dior.

What a cute set with great colors! I love to use two and three colors when doing my eye shadow and often have a hard time fidning VERY light colors, but the middle light green, but this one was perfect. Also loved three of the four other colors.
I only gave this for stars though, because the green in the upper right side is kind of neon (although some people may like that), but I mostly took off for the price. I thought $56 for a palette of five colors was a bit much. But it might be that I'm used to getting 8-10 colors for around $36. Either way, even thought I really liked it, it was too pricey for my wallet.

For those who are huge fans of green shadow,like myself,this compact has the most complete collection of colors, depths & levels of shimmer in one portable compact. I can't imagine a look that couldn't be achieved, from office-subtle, to smoky-vixen with these long lasting colors!

Great palette! All the YSL 5-color palettes feature soft colors so you won't ever go over. Like it a lot although I already have other palette with the same color theme.

Garden of Eden is an exceptional palette. This palette really works for me. The specific green shades bring warmth to my dark brown eyes which is why I like it, but it's perfect for women of all ages, which colors appropriate for day to evening, all year round. There's so much you can do with this palette.

Garden of Eden consists of five shimmery shades of vibrant shadow in the green family and all the shades complement each other. I can control the intensity by layering, making these beautiful shades even darker. I've tried these with and without primer, and they seem to work equally as well either way. These shades can be used wet or dry, and can be used as shadow or liner. There is a light green shade which is shimmery and makes a nice shadow or highlighter (for eyes only). The darker shades can be used as shadow or liner. I can create a lot of styles with these shades, plus it's been very easy to travel with. (There are two double ended applicators included in this palette, although I usually prefer to use my fingers unless I'm using a shade as a liner, in which case I use a liner brush). The other thing I really appreciate about this palette is that there's been no fallout of shadow IN THE CASE ITSELF. Sometimes I find that once I start using powder cakes in palettes, little bits of fallout in the case get stuck on another cake in the palette and compromise the color, or make a mess inside the palette. Doesn't happen here...

You might look at the price and think $56 is a lot to pay for a palette, but when you figure that you're getting 5 top notch shadows that are very long lasting, you'll realize that this costs less than buying them individually. Plus they last way longer than cheaper brands, they don't fade, and they don't need to be reapplied. You use less over the long run.
I'm very impressed with the palette and the others two YSL palettes from this line that I picked up. I do a lot of traveling and it's sometimes difficult to take along cumbersome palettes when I only need a few specific colors in one or two families. Most of the fad palettes are fun to use, but they don't travel well. This is easy to take, fits into purse, travel bag, or suitcase nicely, and is very long lasting. I can take a flight out in the morning, and not have to worry about my shadow having mysteriously "disappeared" when we land. I know this shadow will stay in place until I'm ready to take it off. That's also a big plus for me. I highly recommend this palette.
(The other YSL palettes are reviewed in the appropriate places. There are a variety of color combinations, so there's sure to be something for everyone.)

EVERYTHING I NEED IN TRAVEL FRIENDLY GREEN PALETTE

This palette really works for me. It's perfect. The specific green shades bring warmth to my dark brown eyes. I was actually trying to find something similar to a Dior palette that had been used on me during a makeover. It was out of stock, but I stumbled upon a YSL one that was similar. I found one similar to the Dior 5 Coleur Eyeshadow Palette that I was looking for. I also realized that the YSL ones are actually more appropriate for my needs. Although I have a few of the Dior palettes, there was always a shade or two I couldn't use that seemed outrageously out of place. Not so with these YSL palettes. I can use everything in here. The shades really do complement each other.

Stunning * Gorgeous * Best Greens Ever!

This is the most incredible green palette I've ever purchased. I'd originally purchased the Kat Von D Gypsy palette, and was severely disappointed. This palette was almost double the price, but the colors were so vibrant I had to try it.
Absolutely stunning - I cannot begin to describe the perfection of these shades! Top left is the perfect peacock shade - rich emerald with a touch of blue/black tone irridescence. The center is a shimmery pale olive silver, bottom right is rich bronze brown. These shades are very wearable and mixable, and now I am definitely purchasing the new BronzeGreen Colour Harmony palette. Can't wait!
