Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine
The powder is really fine but the finish is not radiant but more like a matt finish and it tend to look a bit cacky for the frist hour or so then later on it gets absorbed and stays on well. However, im quite pale but i like to make myself look darker. the #4 turns my face all red and orange, it is not good for yellow skintone, like myself. I like natural finish and this one is going to show that you DO have make up on.

Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine
I'm very fair with yellow undertones (NC15 or 117 in MUF's HD foundation) and got this powder in shade 2. I wanted something with light coverage to set, mattify & and tone down the yellow in my NARS tinted moisturizer.
This stuff is PERFECT. It's like putting a soft focus filter on your face. My skin seriously looks flawless somehow, while still letting freckles show through. Also, I'm not generally a fan of matte skin, but this doesn't make it flat or chalky at all.
Just two things. It's not one of those powders that is packed so tightly, it'll last you a lifetime. After using it for a week, the logo is wearing away. I also wish that there was room in the compact to tuck in the applicator that's included.
That said, I'll definitely be repurchasing this one.

Quick Take: radiant just like it claims!
Great coverage but not Caskey or drying. Soft finish. I use the complexion shade and the darker for a hint of contrast. Best I've used in years.

I use this powder to set my Dior Forever foundation. It gives my skin a very matte yet radiant finish. It does not look chalky and delivers an almost airbrushed effect. I do not have to retouch this powder for almost 9 hours and I have very oily skin. Its phenomenal. I would not use this on it's own as it would not give me a desired amount of coverage, but to set my foundation it is perfect. I purchased this in shade 4 I have a medium skin tone and this feels a little too dark for me. I'll get the lighter shade next time. I love this!! I love Dior but YSL is slowly becoming a favorite brand of mine!

This is the compact I use when I have a few extra $$$ and want to treat myself. It illuminates while it stops shine. It makes you glow-y and smooth without caking. And the compact is serious luxury. You can powder at the table with a case this nice.

I am weird about sometimes using only products within the same brand, and this is the only powder i use with the touche éclat foundation. It provides sheer coverage, sets everything and doesn't cake up or look too heavy. I don't want to give this little bit of luxury up. I keep it with me to touch up through out the day to control shine and refresh my face.

This powder is so luxe! It is soft, illuminates your complexion and is mattifying at the same time! I love it over the new YSL touché éclat foundation. The shades look super light so I got number five... For reference, I use beige 40 dore in the foundation.

I was looking for a pressed powder that offered some coverage without being so heavy it acted like another layer of foundation. This is beautiful and versatile. I carry it with me for touch ups, but can use it with a heavier hand to cover up the dark marks I get around my mouth & nose. I use #4 and it's great with my yellowish light/medium complexion. I'll echo the other comments about the bad decision to package the puff outside the compact. It's a very awkward note in an otherwise elegant powder.

I've been looking for a light powder that doesn't look thick and cakey. I apply with a fluffy powder brush and it makes my face look flawless!
Gorgeous results that last all day. I use the #2 shade for my light (but yellow-toned) skin and it blends perfectly.

Beautiful Consistency, but I use it up too quickly

Quick Take: reduces shine
I like super full coverage, and this powder works well with Shisedo's lifting foundation: o20, or alone with a primer. It is for those of use who are super light, but with a yellow tint, not a pink tint. Two down sides are that it is super expensive, and because it covers so well, i use it up pretty quickly.

if you have a slightly oily t-zone, it'd be a nice fancy powder in your pouch but if you have overly oily skin like mine, there's no way paying that amount of money for this.

The case is so beautiful but unfortunately it did not work with my skin and skin color. It started to flake in the middle of the day and that's maybe because I moisturize my skin but it shouldn't do that. It does give you though a sheer coverage.
