i don't use the YSL flash radiance as a primer much since i rarely wear foundation, but it works excellently as a moisurizer. the scent is amazing, and it leaves my skin soft and supple. i can see how it makes a good base for makeup, because my skin feels very even in texure whenever i apply it. the only draw back is that the brush applicator is ineffective, so i end up squeezing the product into my hand and applying it that way.

I was never a bug fan of primers - they can wreak havoc with skin prone to breakouts, or give your skin a waxy appearance. This, if you live in a humid environment, can be used as a lightweight moisturizer and a primer.
I use it for both in summer, & the brush helps to apply the product without using too much. Looking forward to trying with a liquid foundation in winter.

I have tried other primers in the past and think this one in particular is the best I have found. It doesn't feel heavy, my foundation flows over it and stays on all day. I do believe it helps tone down some of those "age" spots and fine lines. Worth the price.
I am concerned that it's pricy $$$ for the amount of product you get, since once you start using it you want to use it everyday, not just when you need it. It smells great, you skin feels great, but no convinced that it looks any better....
I love this product. I bought my first tube in April 2009 and am still using it. It makes my skin feel amazing and my makeup stays on forever. Totally worth the price.

Primers normally feel awful in this disgusting heat and humidity. But YSL makes my skin feel wonderful and holds up. If it can beat New Orleans in August, it'll withstand anything!

I am relatively picky about the Primers I choose to apply before I put on my makeup and I must say, this is my all-time favorite. Sometimes my skin gets splotchy and uneven in color but this product is definitely the solution!

I really like this skincare product, because the color goes on easy and keeps my skin soft. I saw a more even skintone, and it gives a nice natural color to my skin without feeling heavy.
I see a marked difference when I use this in the morning--skin is more supple and almost seems to glow. I brush it on after moisturizing and before foundation. Small lines seem a little smaller and skin plumps. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful product. gives radiance and overall improvement of foundation performance-i use mineral foundation. should be reserved for those with dry skin.
this is such a good product, i wont say its the best primer, but it works as a moisturizer and a primer in one, it made my face tingle. but i absolutely looove it. YSL has the best products!
i love this product! it is absolutely unique. the formula is lightweight and creamy, packaged in a user-friendly brush. it is neither oily or drying. it also makes my skin tingle, which i did not expect. it can be used as a primer for foundation, but i just use it to even out my skin before applying loose powder. great!! :)

This product is beautiful! I love it. You only need a little and it's so easy to use. Gives a nice base to work with when applying foundation or just powder for a more natural look. I was reluctant to buy it; tried so many things that didn't work as stated... this stuff does the job! My skin is a bit dry and Top Secrets adds just a little more moisture boost to my regular moisturizer and when allowed to set before makeup application; works wonders. Makeup looks smoother; lasts longer. After a long day my makeup still looks fresh. YOU MUST TRY IT. Simply turn the top to distribute a little product into the brush, apply directly to face... lightly, all over. Do not over apply. A little does go a long way.

This turns my face into baby skin.
I have & use a host of primers. This one, however, applies like a dream, and is almost non-existant once on.
The primary benefit that will be most immediate is the pore refining & smoothing. Foundation applies wonderfully, but I have also used this to perfect on days when I'm not wearing foundation.
The refined, smooth look & feel last a long time. I'm in love with the simple brush applicator. Just twist, squeeze, apply. This is a somewhat pricey but worth it tool in my arsenal of beautifiers.

I wasn't sure I'd like this, but I gave it a shot anyway. As a few people have noted before, this is moisturizing, so it's not for the oilier skintones out there! But as I tend to be dry in the winter, this is wonderful! I was my face in the a.m., put on a light gel based moisturizer. Then I do my hair and wait for that to soak in. Then I use this Flash Radiance primer and as soon as it's absorbed I see a difference! My face looks tighter, prettier. Also makes foundations go on like a dream after. I find the scent a bit odd, but not unpleasant. The packaging is lovely and convienient. This may be my favorite primer for winter. (for summer, I looove Perfekt)
