Bottom line: go buy it if you have the eye pencil. Yes, it will make all the difference in the world...really! This sharpener makes a super-sharp point. Something every other sharpener out there just will *not* do on this wonderful pencil ... trust me!

I bought this sharpener because a friend of mine said it worked well on the Benefit Eye Bright pencil. It does, and it works way better than any other sharpener that I've ever used. Its the best!

I used to use just like a random sharpener to sharpen my 24/7 pencils and they would keep breaking...
but this sharpener sharpens my pencils WITHOUT breaking them and into a wonderful point.
A MUST HAVE IF YOU OWN 24/7 PENCILS!!!!!!

i got this because i love the 24/7 liner.. since that liner is so soft, this sharpener is perfect! the only problem i had, once i used the little clear "cleaner" that comes with the sharpener to clean it after you've used it.... it doesn't stay in the little slot and it constantly falls out. so i have to keep it inside the actual sharpener because i don't want to loose it!! it works so well with those liners :D

Great sharpener for different sized pencils. The clear cover traps shavings to provide for easy clean up. A little more $ than you would pay for a drugstore sharpener, but sharpens eye pencils cleanly every time.

Ok, first time I have every reviewed ANYTHING. I always think that the reviews were written by people paid to do so but here I am a regular gal who has found a great makeup tool. It does work to read the reviews.
I really hate to admit it but I've been one of those people using cheap dime store pencil sharpeners for my Loreal eyeliner pencils. It would always sharpen to a long, thin point which if the pencil tip didn't fall off completely then it would have those sharp jagged edges scraping my eyes. How I wish I could find a pencil that would sharpen to a shallow point like a golf pencil. Voila!!! The Grind House did exactly this. I told my husband this was the best $$ I ever spent. Inexpensive enough to put in as stocking stuffers for friends and family this Christmas.
I am very a happy with this product. I purchased this based on the reviews here. I hope my review helps you out even more.

A good sharpener.

This sharpener works very well. It's a bit pricey, but I knew it would work well with it being an Urban Decay product. It also looks really cool. It sharpens well and it's nice that there's a cover so you can empty the shavings whenever.

Nothing negative to say about the Urban Decay Grind House sharpener. I've never gotten a "bad" sharpener, but this one does seem to be of higher quality than drug store purchases, and for a sharpener that works with both sizes of pencils, you really can't beat the price!

This is my all time favorite pencil sharpener ever.
It sharpens the eye/lip pencil without waste and has
a hole for small and another for larger pencils. No more
waste or half-sharpened pencils or pencils sharpened only on one side. It has a cap that catches the excess so eliminates mess....I lost my first sharpener and immediately bought another one. Best I've ever used, and worth the 8.00

Worth Every Penny

For the longest time I used my old sharpeners because this one seemed pricey comparatively. However, I noticed that this little sharpener makes smooth soft cuts to sharpen the pencils at the store, while at home, I was sharpening the same store-bought pencils and getting sharp edges and chips on my Urban Decay eye-liners. Finally, after all the situations of almost poking my eye out I went in to buy this sharpener and now have the perfect soft smooth sharpening on my eye-liner pencils. Works fantastic. I love it and highly recommend it. Don't be content with sharp pointy edges. Your eyes are worth more than that.
