Quick Take: lightweight, fast-absorbing, protecting
I use Armani foundation which typically adheres to your skin for an amazing long lasting silky look and feel, but it is also very hard to get off of your skin even with a clarisonic brush..so when i tried this primer under my super clingy make up, it helped provide a nice base, for my face AND eyes (tell u about it in a sec). and the best part was that i was able to easily clean the make up off without difficulty. it really helped create that barrier between my skin and the make up. Now, about the eyes, i used this as a primer for eyes and it worked better than urban decay, my make up lasted. Love it...

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT !! It goes on silky, feels ultra smooth, it's not at all greasy.......and it makes your skin amazingly soft and refined. Make-up goes on so much better and easier......looks perfect. I absolutely recommend this !!!!!

This silky primer is the solution to creating a flawless face. After I began using La Base, I have been receiving endless compliments about how beautiful/smooth my skin looks and how wonderful my makeup is. Growing up with moderate acne, I definitely do NOT have perfect skin. I have scars and slightly enlarged pores. But this primer has helped even out my skin surface so my makeup looks immaculate from morning until late night.

I tried a sample over my moisturizer and I love the way my skin looked and felt. I had a nice glow and my imperfections where a blur. Even my boyfriend said i looked beautiful, which I was like "I just put a primer", I finally purchased it and can't wait to see how it'll look under makeup

This Primer truly delivers! I have oliy skin and have had issues finding the right primer that doesnt feel thick or greasy on my skin. This primer makes an even pallette for makeupto glide on and stay on! Awesome Product!

Really makes a difference

I have tried several primers without success for one reason or another...some caused breakouts or caused my oily skin to turn to greasy skin. Others caused any dry patches to stand out. I got a sample of LaBase Pro from Sephora and have found it to be the the best by far. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I have found that if I use it every day I may have a slight breakout. Only minor though, no cysts like other primers have caused. This may be just my sensitive skin. So I try to stay on for 3 or 4 days and off for a day or two and it works great. Definitely worth a try.

Wonderful

Quick Take: lightweight
I love this Primer. It's not something I use everyday, cause I don't like wasting good products on my office colleagues, but it's definitely something that is kept in my arsenal. It's light, and gives my skin a nice finish. I use it with or without powdered makeup - I use Bareminerals. It's a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way, and it's worth it.

I got this in a sample from Sephora and I instantly fell in love. I got probably a good 3 days of uses out of the sample and just couldn't help but want more. It is very silicone feeling but it makes my skin feel so soft smooth and even and my bb creams, powder foundations and liquid foundations all apply over it AMAZINGLY. The one thing that I have to say set it apart from some of my other primers is that it really did mattify my skin right from the start. My skin is always shiny after moisturizing etc but I put this on and it is MATTE.....after my foundation I had the subtlest glow to my skin from its finish but I didn't notice myself get oily quick at all..it stayed pretty much the same for a good 6 or 7 hours. I still have a few samples to go through of other primers but I bought the full size in this because I just can't see it not being a staple in my makeup collection. The price hurts a little bit but to get a becca primer or an hourglass primer which are my other two favorites....it is gonna hurt my wallet just as much lol

The best makeup primer I have ever tried, and I've tried many. This primer leaves your skin soft and not weighed down. I use a powder brush to put on face powder, it leaves it so flawless I stopped using foundation, you must try it. Also a little goes along way!

I got a sample of this and used it under foundation. My foundation turned to cement and looked like it was very thick and cakey! I will not be purchasing the full size of this. I have normal skin, not oily or dry, and this stuff is like GLUE. Maybe I used too much!??

You can get much better results with a 25.00 primer. Def not worth the price.

my mom was the first one to buy this product and it worked really nice for her, her skin is on the dry side. she then bought me one and my skin is really oily and it went on smooth i liked it, it made my makeup look really nice and my foundation just glided when i applied it. however after a few hours my skin looked really oily. this product is oil free, when you first apply it its so silky it feels like oil but in a thicker consistency. it works well it just didnt work for me after a few hours of applying it im guessing because my oily skin. i use oil free foundation and a mattifying pressed powder on top and it just didnt sit well with my skin.

Quick Take: greasy, doesn't minimize pores
SO, much like the other reviews, i had a sample of this from sephora.com when i ordered online. Just like I predicted, the sample is not as good as the actual product. Samples in general are more concentrated versions of the product, so I ended up falling in LOVE with the sample i recieved, but when i bought the full size product, it was just mediocre: it did nothing for my pores and actually made my skin oilier. Most likely returning! Be aware that the sample performs MUCH better than the actual product.
