Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I'm 24 and just recently discovered I AM AGEING... Didn't think that would happen but I needed something that gave "totale"coverage. What I love about this foundation is that it is light on your skin but still give you that great coverage you want on a daily basis. Now this isn't my wallets best friend but it is worth it!

I have combination skin and it oxidises on me little bit but still so far, this is the best foundation I have tried tried. it stays in place and covers well but i'm still looking for that perfect foundation for my skin. Until I find it, for now this is the best one.

I have tried everything out there over the years. As my skin has changed through menopause etc., I have found this to be the one product that never lets me down. Beautiful coverage, long lasting. Gives a lovely glow to the skin.

It is great if you dont mind people noticed that you wear heavy make up. Personally, i prefer sheer finish but this one, it just doesnt do that. Plus, dior never has my colour so the colour i tried- warm ivory is too pale, but one colour darker is way too dark.

The texture is great and loved the shade.. Mine was the darkest.. Shade was perfect on my skin with a tint of yellow... but within 5 mins my face looked like I was in desert sun and rest of my body was in alaska.. Well I love Dior products,, but the foundations are not for me

I love this. I wore Chanel for a couple of years, but the shade I needed wasn't available in the formula I wanted...so I bit the bullet and tried this...on my 3rd bottle....loveit!

At 46 yrs old I have tried nearly every and all high end foundations. I can not comment on the finish or lasting power of this foundation because I simply could not get past the fragrance. It is just too strong for me. The shade was almost perfect for me, just a bit to dark. The shade range really needs to be extended. Perhaps if they take that out the heavy frangrance that lasts all day I would be more then happy to try iy again and give it a fair review. I hope so!

Expensive, odd colors and not really worth it

I know there are a lot of people here who love this foundation, but I think it's really kind of the emperor's new clothes of makeup.
First, it's incredibly pricey. It's actually gone up maybe $10 since it hit the market a few years back. That's just too much at this price point for the quality of the product you get.
it may have all sorts of great ingredients in it, but it doesn't blend that well and a lot of the colors are orange or pinkish on lighter skin tones. If you are between colors, you don't stand a chance of finding a good match, no matter how well you blend.
I also didn't find this to be a "radiant' finish. I get the same "radiant" look by applying moisturizer before I start to put my makeup on. If you try that with this foundation, it simply rolls off in clumps as you try to apply it. .Not exactly ideal.
Overall, it seems like there are much better choices out there for moisturizing foundations with a luminous finish. Almost any one except this.
I would definitely pay a premium price (and often do) for cosmetics that deliver exceptional results. But this seems more hype than real life results.

I have tried so many foundations, you name it, both high-end and drug stores. For most of them I can't even finish the bottles before tossing them out of my vanity for good, but Dior Capture Totale is one odd exception.
This is my thrid purchase of this foundation and I am still deeply in love with it. I love to apply it with a beauty blender and for only one pump, it gives me the most beautiful coverage!! This is also an excellent foundation for photo shoots, although it has SPF15, it doesn't give you the white casts when using flash.

I was looking for a high end foundation to use until I was able to replenish my Chanel Foundation. This product does not even remotely live up to it's claims and is comparable to a drug store foundation. Don't waste your money.

I was searching for another high end foundation to try and this line is not at Sephora, yet. I was offered a sample of Dior Capture Totale, matched perfectly in shade Ivory 10. I had no expectation and gave it a whirl. This is amazing. I really like this foundation A LOT! I have to examine and scrutinize a bit more - but if nothind changes - I will be purchasing this by the weekend. Creamy. Poreless. Buildable. Expensive. What can you do?

Very flattering shades, perfect coverage, not at all heavy. A bit pricey for a foundation but lasts at least 6 months. I apply with a make up brush.

I have strayed and tried many others, and this is still the best. While it would be nice to have slightly wider range of shades, this blends beautifully and has a fabulous, luminous finish. It wears very well, and is good for your skin, too. What more could you want? Is expensive, but you only need 1 to 1 1/2 pumps to do your whole face, so it does last a long time.

I'm using the shade 020 Light Beige, and it's almost perfect for my 50-something overall very good skin. It's just a tiny bit too dark, but the lightest shade 010 would surely make me look ghostly. The texture is creamy and well pigmented, and glides over pores making them invisible. You can sheer this out with a damp sponge or foundation brush, but I like applying it with my fingers to get the most coverage and best finish. Overall, I love this medium to full coverage foundation. I wish Dior would make a shade between 010 and 020 with a very neutral base.

I love everything Dior, so I knew this would be no exception. I'm very fair, but I wear 032 when I have a bit of a tan, and it's a perfect match for my skin tone. I've used DiorSkin Nude for years but gave this a try. It blends naturally, leaves your skin radiant and moisturized and stays put. It's also supposed to have anti-aging properties. What more could you ask for?

this foundation goes on smoothly, perfect color match, yes it is expensive, but it is, I feel, a larger size bottle then others. I will definitely get it again. I have tried alot of different brands and this by far is the best overall. stays on, doesn't dry out my skin

I have dry, sensitive skin and even though we have had a mild winter, my skin becomes as dry as a desert. This foundation goes on smooth with just the right amount of coverage to cover what needs to be covered, while still being able to see me...not makeup. It goes on like luxurious silk!

Love this foundation - the best I've ever tried. At $80, even if money is no object, you want to get every last drop out. Carefully wedge the top off with a metal nail file or flat blade screwdriver. Work around the top from every angle. Once you get it off, you should have at least 2 to 3 weeks of product. Maybe more if you use a small brush to get to the bottom.
