As good as CND Stickey!

Bought this because I've been changing my polish 3x week and nails are in a sorry, dry state. Been using it as a base coat for about two weeks now and very happy with results. Nails seem more hydrated, and as a base coat, Hydrator is excellent. My manicure doesn't chip and wear is on par with CND Stickey Base Coat -- which is a favourite. Highly recommend!

Quick Take: wonderful, hydrating
This is fantastic! I have thin nails that can grow long. My biggest issues is that they dry out and break. This has been fantastic. My nails still have shine even after I take it off which doesn't happen with ther treatments.

I love OPI products but I didnt care for this product. I didnt feel like it was hydrating my nails at all and I didnt like the "dead" color on my nails. I use a different OPI product for moisturizing and its also good to use as a top coat

This hydrator has been a godsend! After taking off my acrylics my nails were thin and breaking all the way up to the cuticle. Ouch! Was desperate for a remedy and This hydrator saved my tuckus! And my nails!
Usually my nails take quite some time to recover after that abuse, but within a few weeks they were healthy and growing long again- without cracking and breaking. Now I Always have this on. What a miracle!

Saved my nails!!

I didn't expect much, but I decided to try this product to see if anything would reverse the dry brittle condition of my nails (after removing GelShine color). I applied this as a base coat let it dry then followed the GelShine steps. When I removed the gel color my nails were in great condition. I thought I would have to give up the GelShine system or give my nails a long break, nope this did the trick!

I've used this hydrator for a couple years now, and it is by far the best. It keeps your nails looking nice after the abuse of frequent nail polish changes. It takes about a week before my polish starts to chip when I use this as a base. I just hate that you can't get it in stores anymore (online only).

Perfect Base Coat

Quick Take: moisturizing, long-lasting, great base coat
This product is not really like anything else I've tried and I'm so glad I did. I have very strong nails, but they were starting to flake at the tips (probably due to constant polish application and the harsh remover I'd been using). I've been using this hydrator treatment for a little over a month, and it has really made a difference. My nails are definitely smoother and don't peel anymore at all. It seems to sink into the nail surface rather than just sitting on top.
Plus it's the best base coat I've ever used. I type and file all day and ride horses in the evenings. Normally, even with the most careful manicure, I have a chip or two within two days. Going to the stable always destroyed my polish pretty much instantly. But I've been doing everything the same and now I typically go 9 OR 10 DAYS without the slightest chip or flaw in my color. I even bent back a nail and the polish didn't crack. It must really bond well to both the nail and the color on top. My nails feel diamond tough. I don't even give a second thought to them anymore no matter what kind of rough work I'm doing.

I bought this based on the good reviews. My nails have oddly become really dry and peely and flakey even. I purchased this hoping it would help. It didn't really do anything for me. I've just had to buff my nails down if they got really peely and flakey. I think I'm just going to take some hair and nail vitamins to see if that works better.

Been using this for a little over a week and so far the results have been positive,,, my nails seem to be in somewhat better shape than they were before I started using the Hydrator, so I would say that is a positive thing... I'll give it at least a month until the final verdict is out...

I love this base, it really does keep my nails healthier, I've noticed less breakage. One con is that it has a bluish tint to it, and if i wear it alone, my nails look dead.

I bought this thinking it was nail colour. And then I realized it was a hydrator. I typically use it alone on bare natural nails and really like the look. My nails look shiny, sort of like the upper cloudy clear part of a french manicure. I do feel like my nails are stronger when I'm wearing the Hydrator, but I don't notice any long-term effects on the strength of my nails.

Quick Take: worth every penny
My nails are usually splitting, weak and breaking. I've used this for just over two weeks and only had to replace it just a few days ago despite gardening, cleaning, etc. and the nails show no signs of splitting. I've tried all sorts of things in the past but nothing worked; this has been amazing with just one coat.
