GREAT PRODUCT. I COOK AND CLEAN AND HAVE YET TO EXPEIENCE THE EMBARRASMENT OF A CHIP NAIL. I HAVE NOT NOTICED A DIFFERNCE REGARDING MY NAILS BEING BRIGHTER, BUT I DO USE THIS POLICH FOR THE TIPS ON MY NAIL FOR A FRENCH AND IT LOOKS NATURAL. I LOVE IT. AND NO HARSH CHEMICALLS WHICH MAKE MY NAILS PEEL AND BREAK! HOORAY OPI!

Quick Take: adds shine, subtle, economical
I know this was designed to brighten dull nails, but this has become my new favorite polish for my fingernails. I always paint my toe nails, but haven't painted my fingernails in years because of my occupation - lots of public contact and lots of washing my hands. The nail brightener adds just enough shine to make my nails look well-groomed without being so obvious that every little chip shows up. Definitely worth the cost!

But not exactly what I was expecting. It does make nails brighter, but is not a sheer formula. I thought it was just to make the white of my nails pop, but it really is not any different than a pearlescent white polish. Pretty though, good for work.

I find this product covers the nail so well and looks so natural. I have previously used ridge fillers, strengtheners, and polish, but this product seems to be the ultimate covering and protectant. I have not used polish over it since I prefer a more natural look.

Quick Take: nice for a pretty yet natural look
I don't like that it chips after only a day or two. But it's a nice color on my nails and I can see why they call it a brightener. I don't think it's really going to make your nails look whiter for the long-term, so don't expect that.

I ended up returning this product. I was hoping for a treatment that bleached my nails, this will make your nails appear white but once you remove it you find it hasn't improved your natural nails at all.

Quick Take: hides imperfections
The Brightener does a good job hiding imperfections in your nails, but it also makes them look really dull. It might be best with a top coat over it... but that kind of defeats the point. I still use it when I want a completely natural look, but I'm not sure I'd purchase this again.

I really like this treatment...I've used it on bare nails with a clear top coat, and I've used it on top of a basecoat- this produces a pearly sheen, but it's not very sheer.
