this base coat really makes a difference on how long my nail polish stays on. I use sephora colors and top coat and this just starts it all out with a smooth surface. I never thought a good base coat mattered that much!

I tried this with a dark nail polish color and it helped to prevent my nail bed from staining. What I didn't expect was that there were no stains at all, when the polish came off. For the price, this is a great product.

I love OPI. It's the main polish I use. I tried Sephora by OPI base coat for the first time and at the end of the week my nail polish was chipping a little. To be honest I was hoping for more. For $9.00 I was expecting no chips at all.

I never really understood the purpose of a base coat until I tried this polish. I did my nails at home and they looked as good as if I'd had a manicure at a salon. I'd even used cheap polish on top of this and it turned out great. Definitely worth it!

My nail polish used to chip within a day to 2 days of putting it on. Now that I use the base coat it stays on for a week before I have to even check if it chips.
