Quick Take: quick-drying, nice sheen
This product does everything you'd expect out of a base coat -- keeps my nails from damage, dries quickly, looks nice without additional polish, prevents staining from colors applied over it.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a nail polish picker the moment I start to see chips. This bad boy prevents any polish chipping for a crazy long time!!!

Quick Take: durable
This base coat helped to keep my polish on for a week, which is fantastic for a home manicure.
It's a little less expensive than OPI itself, but the quality is fantastic.
I used two coats of this before using the color and it dried super fast.
Buy it!!

This basecoat is perfect.
It fills in ridges and gives a really nice smooth base for any type or color of polish. It definitely protects my nails and they have been chipped and peeling much less since I started using this. Great product!

Quick Take: awesome, lasts forever
I've tried a number of base coats, and this is the first one to keep the polish on my nails for an entire week. It doesn't always last that long, but usually lasts at least 4 days with any chipping. For me, it usually depends on what nail polish I'm using, but it lasts on average 4-7 days.

So, today I was looking at my nails, which have had the same polish for over a week, and wondering why they were only slightly worn off at the tips and not chipped at all. And I suddenly remembered I used this base coat for the first time. Amazing! I'm hooked. I've been using the OPI ridge filling base coat for years, but this is so much better.

I've never had a base coat nail polish, that hasn't dried my nails in less than a week of wearing. Sephora by OPI is the best base coat, I have ever tried. The only thing is that it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to dry. :) Still so happy with this product.

This product along with the Sephora by OPI nail colors are the worst nail polish products I have ever bought. Thin and watery. Difficult to apply. The nail colors are transparent because they are so thin. I applied base coat then the color and waited an hour to apply second coat of color. Color smeared. Awful.

Quick Take: natural-looking, shiny, long-lasting
I bought this because I love the OPI Natural Nail base coat but couldn't find it anywhere. This does exactly the same thing but it slightly shinier when you leave your nails without colored polish. So glad I found it!

I'm not an expert with base coat and this one is actualy my first one. What I can tell is that it helps your nail not turn yellow, it dries fast and if you like to wear it as a transparent polish, the result is just fine.

sephora gave this to me as a freebie...i don't have much experience in base coats, however, i think this one works well. it dries quickly with a nice matte finish. i like the way my polish looked over it, i only needed 2 coats of polish to get the desired color. my pedicure looks great!

I found that using the OPI base coat decreased the number of polish coats I need for compete coverage. I wash my hands dozens of times a day at work and still manage to have my manicure last 7 or more days.
