If you are in a bind and absolutely need a top coat because you ran out of everything else. This will work otherwise do not waste your money. I know top coats are not supposed to be flashy but this is matte looking with no shine. Blah!

Quick Take: disappointing, very slow to dry
I've always been an exclusive user of OPI and Sephora by OPI polishes. When I ran out of my OPI fast-drying top coat I purchased this one and could not have been more disappointed. I needed to leave at least 4 hours before I could be confident it was dry, and even then if I went to sleep at that point I'd wake up with pressure marks all over my nails from my pillow, sheets, or pajamas. It's otherwise a great topcoat, it prevents chipping longer than anything else I've tried but the fact that it's so slow to dry is a complete deal-breaker.

Quick Take: slow drying
I love the SOPI polishes, but DO NOT buy this top coat. It takes hours to completely dry. I always end up with marks from my pillow when I wake up (even when I apply it early in the day). Also, as a few people have noted, it does occasionally create bubbles in the polish and the brush does not hold very much product.

Works okay, not as shiny as I was hoping

I used this over some Essie nail color I got as a gift. It worked well to seal the color, but it didn't give a nice glossy shine that I would expect. I had to use three coats of this and even then it still wasn't as shiny. The edges of my nails chipped after about three days, but I do a lot of manual labor so I was still impressed.

It may just be the nail lacquer that I was using under this top coat that had a bad reaction to it, but I'm pretty sure this top coat DOES cause bubbling to occur. This may not be a problem if you only use the top coat with an OPI polish, but it definitely did NOT seem to work with the polish I had on. Which is a shame, because putting this top coat on made my very expensive nail lacquer look pretty awful. I will try it again with another nail polish, but right now I am not particularly happy with this purchase.

i just wanted to buy a topcoat that dried nice and shiny and prevented my nails from chipping. so far, with every different nail polish i have used, this topcoat delivers. i can go an entire week (yes, 7 whole days) without chipping and a nice varnish. would definitely recommend.

Quick Take: thin, watery, difficult to use
I am so sorry to give my first negative review of an OPI product, but this top coat is garbage. It's watery thin, the brush holds very little, and though it seems pretty glassy while wet, when it finally dries (after so, so long), it is so thin it doesn't improve the finish of glitter polish one bit. I almost always wear glitter polish, and the shine is highly improved by a good, thick top coat. There is nothing that I've found that holds a candle to Seche Vite. This would take five or six coats to even come close. But Wet N/ Wild or any other cheap brand would be just as good as this top coat. Better, really, because the dinky, stiff brush makes this unusually difficult to use.

Quick Take: thin, long-drying
I hate this top coat. The brush is thin and the formula is VERY thin, giving you minimal coverage per stroke. Like other reviews said, it streaked my already-dry nail art.
It takes FOREVER to dry. I even tried putting my nails under a lamp, making my nails dry to the touch. Hours later, after I go to sleep, I wake up to imprints and bed fuzz stuck on my nails. I don't want to wait for my nail polish to take >12 hours to dry!
The only reason why I give it two instead of one stars is because it is a very shiny top coat.
Definitely not worth the $9.50. Do yourself a service and do not buy this for a top coat.

While I have tried more inexpensive top coats in the past, this one is by far the best. It does take a little while to dry, so be careful after you put it on. It goes on really smoothly, and there are no bubbles in my manicure! Definitely a must-have

Goes on nice, but once it is dried it is not as shiny. And it takes out color from my nail polish; used it once and my bottle of top coat is turning burgundy on the bottom. There are better top coats at drug stores.
