Very disappointed in this.- 03.03.09
Quick Take: dim, disappointing, way too expensive
The magnification is great but the light is too dim to do any good. I'd have sent it back, but it was the holidays and it was too much hassle. Absolutely NOT worth the price. I'll end up having to buy another one.
We all look lovely in the DARK dah-ling! Anybody who actually wants to see their face, should go elsewhere. I figured out within the first minute that this mirror was a no-go. The light was as dim as candlelight, and the little switch to make it yet dimmer still, was a joke, a very sad and expensive joke. I happened to find exactly the same general product without a dimmer switch for half the price, so I could have gotten that mirror and paid the other fifty dollars for a good flashlight to tape to the mirror! I ordered this online, as there are no models in stores, and I can now see why there are no demo models. Look at the picture above, that is as bright as the light gets! If you just need a mirror and the price doesn't concern you, then go for it. I would rather spend my money getting useful, or at least fun things. I still am searching for the lighted mirror of my dreams. I have already covered my nightmares!

poor illumination- 02.03.09
Not bad, but the cost is too high for the features delivered. Regular and magnifying mirror or okay, but should be larger, but the incandescent light never gets brighter than dim. If I wanted to apply makeup in candlelight, I'd have done so without this thing. Look further!

A must-have...- 01.11.09
I absolutely love my Sephora Brand lighted vanity mirror! It is truly a must-have for me. I honestly don't know how I got my makeup on before I got this without having it all over my face. The light makes a tremendous difference in being able to see to get especially my eyeshadow and mascara on without making any boo-boos. I use this mirror every single day...it makes putting on makeup so much easier and precise.

Needs more light- 01.09.09
The product is well made but the light does not go bright enough. Granted it is adjustable, but the maximum is too low.
My wife is not using it as a result and is still using her old lighted mirror instead of the new one.
