Quick Take: has an undesireable scent
I thought I'd try these products out after seeing such rave reviews. Well, they may be great products but the scent of each one is almost unbearable. I tried the Purity made simple---and yes, it's great in cleansing and removing makeup, but I could hardly stand the smell of my own skin afterwards! Then, adding Hope in a Jar--forget about it. The scent of Amazing Grace is really quite weird--like a dimestore perfume. I never tried the Amazing Grace--I just opened the bottle and sniffed. Yuk. I'm really disappointed and I'm probably one of a million people who find this package offensive, but I thought I'd try it and unfortunately didn't care for this Philosophy grouping. I'm returning it without delay!

Love Amazing Grace, was almost out of my Purity, and saw this set on sale. It was a great value full price, but on sale even better! Love the Philosophy brand, would definitely recommend!

This set is te best of the best on the site. Everything you could want in a skin care line. Wonderful moisturizer, and the purity wash is divine on my combo skin. The scent of "grace" is also lovey. Wonderful soft and feminine without being "grandma" like.

i love this pacakge, it just made sense to purchase this for only $55.00 because the 8oz purity bottle is already $20.00 alone, and the hope in the jar 2oz bottle is $38 and you get the two 8oz amazing grace shower gel and lotion. I love all these products they work wonders. All these products should be a must have in your skincare routines!!

I have recently become a new fan of Philosophy products and ordering sets like this to help stock up, is ideal!
What I love about sets like this is that you can divide them up into individual gifts, and keep what you like or want to try. So far I am really pleased with Hope in a Jar....it goes on very light and takes a bit to absorb into my skin...it does have it's own scent, that's for sure....but I love that it is not perfumed. It smells, organic/all natural, not quite sure how to describe it. But I don't find it offensive in the least.
The Purity cleanser is a little drying for me....but! it also works amazing at getting all the make up off at once. I will just add more moisturiser after I cleanse.
The other two Grace products, the shower gel and the body lotion, I am giving as part of a gift package for relatives....but they smell lovely. Very soft and clean. They will definitely be a future purchase of mine for me to try.
Just LUV the value of this set....it is truly a great deal!

I needed a new Hope in a Jar and I wanted to get the facial cleanser for my niece so I ordered this set since it costs similar to just getting those two items. I love the Hope in a Jar moisturizer. Sometimes I do have breakouts but I think that's due to other reasons. Overall it makes my face look like it's glowing. It's the only moisturizer I'll use now. I'm not sure what my niece thinks of the cleanser yet but I hope she likes it. I was excited to try the Amazing Grace body wash and lotions because they are bestsellers but I wasn't too blown away with either until I added the CLEAN fragrance and then it smelled completely clean. I'm not sure if I'll get more of the Amazing Grace collection but it was a lot of fun to get to try. :D Thanks for a great deal Sephora and Philosophy!!

Hoping for a little more...

I really liked Purity and Grace (great fragrance, nice and light), however Hope was way too greasy for my skin. It felt light and creamy on my fingers, but really heavy on my face, I broke out pretty badly afterwards. Although many complain about the smell, it didn't bother me that much.

These products all seem to work pretty well, but they reeked so badly that I had to switch back to my old standbys. There's a strangely herbal/artificial smell that I hated and my boyfriend (sitting 3 feet away from me) hated too!

This set has a great value. I can't pick a fav from this set cause there all so great. Hope in a jar is one of the best creams iv ever used id iv tryed them all you name it iv tryed it. one step facial cleaser is so greay, it makes my skin glow and it makes it so smoth, it does not clear pimples but it releaves skin of reddness and sensativity.The body cream smells heavenly, and it verry thick and creamy. The body wash smells like grape fruits wich I like. These are all lighlty sented, so there great for every day use!!!

Quick Take: a good buy if you can stand the smell of the cream
I really liked the Philosophy set with the exception of the face cream. The smell was horrible--all I could smell through the day was a bleach-like odor coming off my face. It was so awful it made me gag. I had to return it, and thankfully Sephora's return policy is so customer friendly I was able to bring it back and get a different product. Sadly there isn't a Best of Sephora Philosophy set that included the face cream that I did buy--Hope in a jar for dry sensitive skin.

I have been wanting to try the PHILOSOPHY brand for while now and this seemed like a good choice. I absolutely love it. The Amazing Grace scent is so subtle--I get migraines from scents that are too strong. My favorite part of this kit is the face wash and cream. It is so light and refreshing. I am so hooked on this product and can't wait to try more PHILOSOPHY.
