I am sad! Was hoping I finally found a small cordless iron for touchups. After the initial charge tried using it but by the second time, the charge died. Tried again, re-charging it and used it once for a couple of minutse. Several days later, there was no charge left...

Quick Take: time saving

I just bought two more of these. I use it for my bangs, in the car, after humidity attacks me. It is not meant to be used for an entire head of hair, only touch ups. But that's all I ever needed as I wear the rest of my head curly. Doesn't get too hot, but does the job!

Decent touch-up iron - 02.14.10

Quick Take: time saving, heats quickly, portable

I have very fine, wavy hair that is prone to frizziness and cowlicks, and this is a great iron to fix small problems. If my hair is a mess after my commute, this is perfect for getting it back to normal without spending a lot of time or effort. It doesn't get ridiculously hot, but if you use it for small sections it works well. I haven't had any problems with the battery life - it usually needs a recharge after about 4-5 touch-up uses.

The case that it comes with is very nice and good for storage.

This is absolutely not a flat iron for anyone with thick, coarse hair and it cannot be used for the entire head.

Quick Take: time saving, heats quickly

First off, this straightener is not intended to straighten your entire head of hair...it's for a quick fix. I know most of the reviews are poor but I happen to love this straightening iron! I charge it about every 2 days and always have it in my purse for "hair emergencies"! It gets quite hot and comes in handy in bad weather. It also heats and cools quickly.

Quick Take: not worth the money

I am taking this iron back. Does not get hot enough and it pulls the hair. Does not smooth your hair for the price I had to pay for it.

I don't know if I got a defective model or not, but my iron does not get remotely hot enough to work on my medium thickness, color treated hair. Plus I can't get enough pressure on the plates to keep my hair from slipping out. And although I can use it (ineffectively) for 30 minutes, it takes about 6 hours to re-charge, making it pointless to try to use it to style my entire head of hair at one sitting. This is going back. . .

The WORST Flat Iron - 11.10.09

Quick Take: is a high priced piece of garbage

First one purchased: never opened yet cracked. Returned for another that I later found out had been opened, returned and resold to me. It didn't work. Although charged for the 2.5 hours per their instructions, it would not turn on. Piece of garbage. The rechargeable batteries are sealed inside, so once they wear out, you have to throw the iron away. I purchased a Hot Looks instead; extra battery and a car charger for a fraction of the cost.

Doesn't get hot enough, pulls hair - 10.14.09

I charged it overnight, but the green light never came on. It did get somewhat hot, but not enough to smooth the frizz out of my already straight hair. I finally gave up and returned it to Sephora. I'm still waiting for a cordless flat iron that actually gets hot!

VERY disappointing - 09.08.09

Even when fully charged, this iron doesn't get nearly hot enough to do anything to my hair. The plates also seemed to tug on my hair and make it look dry and dull. I had high hopes for this item, but I'll be returning it as soon as I get a chance to pack it up.
