Quick Take: good value, pretty colors, great for travel, eyeshadow can be used wet or dry
I love this gift set because it has eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lip/cheek color all in one. The colors go well together and create a natural look. I love traveling with this because I have everything I need in one palette. I gave this palette to some friends at Christmas and it was a big hit, especially with the recordable message!

Quick Take: good value if the colors work for you.
The palette was cute and I wanted to record a motivational message to myself that I could play every day like: "You are so beautiful, you rock!" or "You look so good already you don't even need make up - but put a little on and go have a great day!" Once I got over all that and started trying everything I realized there was only one eyeshadow that was really working for me at all. None of the items seem to be as flexible or "convertable" as they are advetised to be and they don't seem to blend well with each other on my skin anyway. So, I returned the kit. For now I'll have to stick with the post it notes for my positive reinforcement.

Quick Take: good value
I love this product. The neutral eyeshadow colors are great for everyday, and the dark color acts as an excellent eyeliner. It actually stays where it is placed the entire day and doesn't rub off easily. I like the lip color, because it tones down my naturally very red lips to give them a more muted look.

I think this product is over valued, but I got it on sale. I don't like the lip color, it makes my lips look dull and pasty, but the eye colors look pretty good when applied with a damp brush. Otherwise, I found the eye colors too pale for me.

I bought this as a Christmas gift..I thought I would record a message...but it did not work. Had to give it to my daughter who did not care..but I had bought it for my niece who would have thought it weird. The makeup looks fine, and the packaging was pretty...but the recording no go....

If you are looking for a fun gift this was a big disappointment. The recording was so soft that you could barely hear it and it lasted for about 10-15 seconds max. Of coarse the eye shadows are great, but that is not why I bought this as a birthday gift/card.

Quick Take: would have rated higher if all of them worked.
I gave one as a gift to a sister that i never see. She just loved it. It really is a thoughtful gift. The colors are wonderful. I tried to record the rest for stocking stuffers. Only one more worked. So 2 out 4. Lucky for me Sephora has the best return policy.

the top two eyeshadow barely show up on your skin and when you blend them they practically blend away. The dark brown is a good crease color but not anything special. THe lip color I have to say is amazing but would be worth getting alone as one of their convertivle colors. I love stila but I would definitly pass go for the ten dollar travel palettes they are amazing!!

I purchased the pallet hoping for the best, but the pigmentation and blendability just weren't there for me. Also, I would have been way happier if it had a little mirror on the lid. I don't believe it was a good value for the price.

i love stila eyeshadow. it is great if you want sparkle but can't wear most sparkly shadow when you get to a certain age. that being said, the eyeshadow colors in this palette are not very pretty and i don't care for how the blush works--i find it hard to manipulate. STILL A STILA LOVER1

For a Stila product, I'm actually pretty disappointed with this palette. The eyeshadow colours are all pretty, but they just don't seem to work together, and the lip colour is quite dull. Since the point of a palette like this is to create a look, I'm not impressed. The "leave a message" function would be cute if you were giving the palette as a gift, but it's kind of useless if you plan on keeping it for yourself. Would rather the product was $3 cheaper and they had left the electronics out.

Admittedly, I bought this on clearance, but I have to say that I would've bought it at full price. The colors are soft and feminine. They're perfect for the smokey eyes of fall, as well as being classics that wear beautifully in any season.

These colors create a perfect day look for me, and I really, really love the convertible color in this set. The lip/cheek color is really sheer and works well as blush. The medium shade looks nice when it's applied wet or dry. The only way this product could be better is if it had a mirror instead of a recording device (the novelty of the recording thing is kind of fun, but I bought this for myself and haven't used that function. A mirror would be more useful).
