I was skeptical- but I see an improvement in my fine lines and this product has helped firmed the skin above my eyes. I have traded in my chanel eye cream for this- and I couldn't be happier. Esp. with the price!

Quick Take: greasy, shiny
The Very Dry to Dry formulation is too greasy and makes my skin shiny. It helps if I pat on a smaller amount, but then my skin does not feel moisturized. I bought this before for combo skin and loved it, but I will turn to something else when I need more intense hydration.

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
I have been using this since it came on the market. Much richer than most Clinique products, it is perfect for my middle aged, very fair and dry skin. There is something in it that makes my skin looks better even without foundation, brighter. And when I do use foundation (Dr. Jart ++) it just glides right over it. I live in the Southwest so the SPF is great.

Very rich cream, a little goes a long way. Bought this for use in the winter months when my regular 3-step moisturizer wasn't cutting it. I have slightly sensitive skin, and this didn't cause breakouts, so I love it. I have super pale asian skin, and like to keep it that way, so SPF is essential- I usually use SPF55, on top of my moisturizer, but this 2-in-1 product (moisturizer+sunscreen) is great for when I'm feeling lazy in the mornings!

Quick Take: intensive, absorbs quickly
This is not perfect but the closest I have come to when looking for a SPF of 30 or more for VERY dry skin (I use Retin A, am 50). I can live with the SPF 25 as my foundation does have SPF 15. I would never count on a foundation with SPF to protect me, but every little bit helps I guess. I apply this twice each morning about five minutes apart to get the optimum 1/2 teaspoon or whatever the experts suggest. The mositure part is really, really good. I tested it on my hand in the store and it was very emolient. Before, my morning was a moisturizer, SPF, primer and SmashBox HD. Now I can skip the moisturizer, a tip from a dermatologist I saw on PBS, and go with just this for both of the first two steps. I can tell you now, I have searched everywhere for an emolient SPF product that does not turn me too white (all mineral, with NC30 skin does not work). Save yourself all the time and money I have wasted and start with this.

I don't like it at all. Its for dry skin but once I put it on- it all absorbs and my skin feels dry again. I tried applying more and more but same thing happens. I though my face will be more elastic and nice but looks the same after almost 2 weeks of use. For the price I thought it would be perfect but its not- I will go back to regular moisturizers that are much less expensive.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
Moisturizes without leaving my skin oily, which is hard to find considering it is SPF 25 (which is a must, by the way!). It is also a great base for my loose powder make-up. The make-up absorbs evenly without feeling greasy or cakey.

I don't have a complete skin care regimen, but do believe in moisturizing and sunscreen to keep my skin looking young. I use Superdefense as the base to my daily make-up regimen and have for a few years without issue. I use very dry to dry and have a problem finding moisturizer that is this creamy consistency. Love it!

It burned my face when I put it on. I think something in the SPF caused the burning - took it back and am trying another brand w/out SPF.
However just because it didn't work for me does not mean it will not work for you. I suggest a sample before you buy to test out on your skin.

I would give this 5 stars if it were not in a jar. I do not like the idea of "contaminating" the cream with my fingers. But I do love the creamy feel and my sensitive skin seems to love it too

This is a fabulous product! It keeps the skin hydrated; going on smooth and soaking in without leaving skin looking or feeling greasy. Super-defense also does not clog pores which is a plus because my skin is very sensitive and with no scent it was great for my husband to use without complaining! (which says a lot, since "guys don't use lotion")

There is no other moisturizer that can keep up with my dry skin except superdefense, and I get the added bonus of spf 25. I even use it on the top of my hands where my knuckles get cracked and it feels awesome.

I bought this because my local Sephora was out of my usual Redness Solutions - Daily Relief Cream.
I had to return this product.
After just a day my skin itched, was visibly dryer, and was tight feeling. The smell of the SPF was overwhelming. This product is just not for those of us with sensitive skin.

I use this cream everyday and it is perfect. I was using a drug store moisturizer before purchasing this product and my skin can tell the difference. This feels moisturizing but without being too heavy. I like that it has SPF as well.

Superdefense is going to be a life long friend of mine! It's not harsh for my sometimes sensitive skin, yet moisturizes a few dry spots I tend to get in the winter months. My skin feels so fresh & healthy after I apply it. Good stuff!

This works o.k. since it is winter and my skin likes a creamier moisterizer in the winter. I'm worried that I can't put enought on to get full value from the spf. If you want full on creamy, this is for you.
