Quick Take: a practical combination of colors
The lip glosses and lipsticks are very moisturiing and feel great, the colors in the pallette are a good selection and combine very nicely, the compact fits nicely into most any sized purse; my only complaint is that I wish the colors were more saturated and stayed on longer.

Quick Take: very nourishing
I like the lip palette and colors very much. The formula is very moisturizing and feels great on my lips. I only whis that the colors were a bit more saturated and the application lasted longer.

Quick Take: flexable and convenient
I like the colors and the slim palette container which will even fit into most evineing bags. The product feels very nice and moisturizing on my lips. The palette Iincludes a good choice of color that can be easily mix and matched. I only wish the colors, both the sheer glosses and the lipsticks had more saturated color and were more long lasting. They are very light and do require frequent reaplication, the reaon for giving it 4 stars.

I love how I can just throw this in my purse and be ready to go - great for travel. But it is expensive for the amount of product you get.

Just got the lip palette, and the colors are very pretty! I love that the make-up is good for you and good for the earth :) The glosses go on wet, but give a matte look after they dry. I think it's a cute bunch of colors to throw in your purse -- giving you many color options!

a good way to find out you don't like this brand- 02.12.09
It took me less than a minute to realize that I didn't like this product. Five of the lipsticks/glosses are practically the same color and will not look good on you if you have fair skin. They have an unpleasant smell, and the texture starts off very slick and then goes on dry. The case falls apart. I will be returning this asap. The only good aspect is that I now have enough information to know that I won't be buying any more Josie Maran products.

Quick Take: good value
Josie Maran's My Favorite Lips palette is outstanding. It is great for carrying in my purse because the palette is sleek and doesn't take up a lot of room and it gives me a vast array of colors all in one little container. The colors are beautiful. I like to mix the lipsticks and glosses together to create different colors. You can create all kinds of different color combinations with the palette. The color goes on smoothly and evenly, too. The only complaint I have is that the color doesn't last quite as long as I was hoping it would, but being so easy to tote along it's easy to reapply when needed. Great palette and a good value.

Quick Take: good value sleek design flattering
Cute packaging (and biodegradable too!), and contains a nice range of natural looking colours. It's a good way to test the Josie Maran lip glosses/lip sticks without committing to the full sized products.
Both the lipsticks and the glosses are universally flattering. Two of my good friends, one white and one black, tried on "Compassion" and "Devious" and the shades looked good on them as they did on me (I'm Asian, on the fair side).
My only concern is that since the colours all contain large amounts of oil, when the temperature changes, those oils sometimes rise to the top, separating from the rest of the palette. This doesn't seem to impact the lip colours' performances negatively however, though it is a little unpleasant to see tiny droplets of oil forming over my lipgloss squares. Otherwise perfect.

Quick Take: alright
I like the sleek design; it's smaller than my business card case! But, I would love if they include a brush; so now I hvae to get another brush just for this palette; so net net it's only ok. Color-wise, I haven't tried all of them; I like the subtlety of the colors but at the same time I find them too subtle at times and couldn't quite tell which ones are lip gloss and which ones are lip sticks.
