I'd like to revise my earlier review. It can be drying to dry skin in early spring or during allergy season. I switched to non-foam cleanser and the irritations were gone in a few days.

I have been using this cleanser for years. It doesn't always smell the greatest but nothing else has ever made me feel cleaner. I love this stuff :)

I try to use natural products and having used the Jurlique balancing rosewater mist for years (smells divine), I wanted to give one of their cleansers a try. I haven't used it long enough to say whether is does what it promises, but using it with my clarisonic it foams nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. What I don't like is the smell. It smells like it's gone bad. The expiry date is 2014, so it's not old. Unfortunately, Jurlique is not sold where I live, so I cannot check if it's just my bottle or if this is indeed how it is supposed to smell. I was only planning to use it before bedtime anyway (I use a different one in the morning), so luckily I don't have to sniff it too long before going to sleep...

I usually use cream cleanser that's non-foaming and extremely mild. Decide to give this a try since I had it for a while. It's got a pleasant smell. Cleanse well and does not dry out the skin. After a few weeks, I've got no complains.

Bad Smell

I don't generally buy expensive face washes, I figure they're on the skin for too short a time to do any good, but once in a while I try something that's come with praise. As a cleanser, this is fair - not drying, cleans well. But the smell is so bad, I almost can't stand it. I don't mean I don't care for it, I mean it smells bad, like rancid. I wonder if I got a bad batch. I can't waste it, it was too expensive but I can't use it fast enough.

I managed to find this product on sale at Sephora for 16.00!! I have sensitive combination skin and this product balanced everything out beautifully without any overdrying or break outs! I rcommend this product highly! even for teen/acne prone skin. My daughter loves it too. The smell might throw you off, but don't let it deter you. It's a really great product.

I have been looking for a cleanser like this for a long time!
I tried so many really expensive drugstore, highest reviewed and finally tried this and was ready to return I was not going to be patient either. It took one tried and after two weeks I am so happy I had to write my first review because of this. I have very senstive skin but oily acne scars, discolorations and freckles . This along with the whitening gel mist has done so much for my skin its a great feeling.

Great All in One Cleanser

Love this cleanser. It takes off all my makeup and there's no need to use a separate eye makeup remover. It says don't use on the eyes but it doesn't irritate my eyes if I keep them closed. Also you don't need much, the trick is to wet your hands but not your face and then foam onto the face. My face is dry but didn't feel like it was stripped after. My skin loves Jurlique and it shows!!

I use the balancing foaming cleanser, rosewater balancing mist and the sun lotion (the pump bottle w/ SPF in it) and am very pleased w/ all three! I love the smell too! I tried to use the Herbal Recovery Gel but the smell was just awful. I've used the products for over a year now and it is just a very clean line that leaves me feeling very refreshed and clean!

One of the best cleansers ever. I got this last year, and after I finished it, I tried other cleansers. However after I finish my current one, I will most likely go back to using this one again. It foams up relatively easily, it's not drying, it cleans well, it is refreshing, it smells good and it lasts long because you only need to use a little bit. I DEFINITELY recommend it to everyone.

Quick Take: intensive, effective, refreshing, soothing, foaming, scented
The Balancing Foaming Cleanser is a mainstay in my routine. It's extremely effective. Every time I stray and an irritation inevitably flares up, this cleanser swoops in and saves the day. It's one of the few products I keep back-ups of on my bathroom shelf. Always have to have a full bottle waiting in the wings.
It thoroughly cleans my skin (even takes off my make up) without leaving any residue. A fresh faced me reappears post-cleanse with glowing skin and clean pores. I use it in the morning at the gym (handy refillable travel size bottle bought in a kit serves that purpose) and at night. I cleanse with it twice in a row if I'm taking off make up, partly for that extra-clean feeling and partly just because I like the cleanser so much. It smells fantastic! Citrus with a hint of peppermint. Refreshing and soothing all at once.
A dime size amount is enough for a full face cleanse. It REALLY foams. The experience is akin to a bubble bath on your face. Rinses away easily and I'm left squeaky clean without any oily residue or that irritating dryness some cleansers leave in their wake. I have really sensitive skin and this cleanser hasn't caused any problems for me at all.
I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a great do-it-all cleanser!

I got a sample of this and have used it a few times. It is very gentle but cleanses really well. It doesn't make my skin feel super tight, and I didn't go greasy an hour later. So over all, a great buy.

Quick Take: excellent, gentle yet effective
I enjoyed a Jurlique's Balancing Foaming Cleanser mini. I had tried it last year, at a friend's house, and was very impressed by it. Once again, I have the same reaction. It leaves my skin feeling soft and very cleansed after using it. I forgot that this cleanser had a special feature until I used the mini. It also leaves my hands feeling very soft... This could also be marketed as a hand wash because it's so hydrating to my hands. While I'm using a different skin care routine with it's own cleanser, I highly recommend this one.
