Quick Take: absorbs quickly, intensive
Most Jurlique products agree with my skin. This is no exception. Initially I thought it might not be enough for dry skin during winter, but it turned out to be very moisturizing. It also gives me that radiance and glow I usually get from using the Herbal Recovery Gel. Overall I love it, even the fragrance that others complain about.

Quick Take: face cream
I love this day cream. it's light, and feels luxurious on your skin. I was told it was made from all natural ingredients, and it's like bathing your face in roses. It's kind of pricy for the small amount, but totally worth it.

I have pretty normal skin. Maybe a little drier on my cheeks and a little oilier on my T zone. This skin lotion sat like a mask on my face. My facialist commented on two different occasions that my skin felt tight. It felt kind of like Elmer's glue had dried on my face--that's the best analogy I can think of! Smell is nice, but it's just not for me. Plus there is no spf, so you'll have to layer sunscreen on top.

Quick Take: doesn't absorb well
I was told this is very calming for my skin. I have combination skin and especially oily in summer. This cream has a thick texture for my skin. It gives me break out and my skin doesn't seem to "absorb" the cream well.

Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I thought I would have really dry skin this winter but Jurlique has saved my face. No more dry patches since using this and all i need is very little after I use the mist, brightening serum and recovery gel. I also love the small tube since I don't like to keep product for too long. Would rather have smaller sizes and buy more often for freshness. Love this line Sephora, please put back into your stores!!!!

Jurlique's Balancing Day Care Cream was excellent, and must better than I expected. I received a deluxe sample with purchase of something else at another site. After reading the Sephora description of this being a light-weight cream, I was surprised when the consistency seemed somewhat heavy. Because I have great faith in Jurlique products, I went ahead and tried it anyway. I figured the worst that could happen was that it wouldn't all absorb into my normal skin, and that I'd have to wipe some off. As it turned out, it absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and well moisturized. I don't use foundation, so this was nice for my skin alone. However, I think this might a good night cream, too, given that it is a little bit thick. Regardless, it's a wonderfully effective moisturizer.

I have oily, acne-prone skin and usually stay away from creams of any kind. I got this as a sample, and my skepticism has been turned around. It really is surprisingly lightweight but very moisturizing... And best of all, it didn't break me out at all. Absorbed very well into the skin and left my skin perfectly balanced. Loved the scent and it may be too much for summer, but it's been perfect for fall.

This is truly one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. I have combination skin so it's not too oily for my face, it absorbs into the skin and it doesn't just sit on top. I LOVE the smell too. I will DEFINITELY get this moisturizer again.

I got a sample of the moisturizer and I love it! It smells great and it leaves my skin so soft. A little goes a long way but I'm not sure if I really want to spend the money for the full size. It costs a lot more than my Clinique moisturizer, but it does work great!

I love this moisturizer. Goes on smooth, keeps my skin a little less oily, has a soft smell. Just reading the ingredients calms me down. I can use this under foundation and it works well with it. My only cons: pricey & has no SPF.

I've only used it for a couple of weeks, got a sample with a pervious order and really liked the product. Goes along way I use it a.m. and p.m. both. I can see some difference in my skin very soft and smooth. Really glad I purchased it would love to try some of the other products that Jurlique has.

Quick Take: greasy, doesn't absorb
It smells nasty and made me break out. This product NEVER sinks into the skin, I'm not kidding. I put it on at about 8am this morning. It is now 9pm and my face is STILL greasy to the touch. The name also sounds like something straight out of Zoolander. I'm just glad I received the sample and didn't waste my money on such a bad cream.

I received a sample of this in my most recent Sephora and tried it today. I have combination skin that is acne prone. When I squeezed it out of the sample packet, it seemed very thick - buttery, really. As I applied the cream, it did not soak in like I prefer my moisturizers to do; instead, it sat on top of the skin and felt suffocating. All day I worried about how greasy my skin looked and felt. I couldn't wait to wash it off so my skin could breathe again. After I washed my face I checked the label, and realized it is full of oil, which I don't like to use as moisturizer - makeup remover, maybe, but not moisturizer. I won't be purchasing a full-size of this product.

I got this in a sample when I bought something online and to be honest I was kinda not looking forward to it because for one I have very oily skin and two I have acne prone skin...
I gave in and thought, why not just try it? So I did my normal face routine and than applied this to my face. Ok first off some people I have read don't really like the scent, but I LOVE IT! I think it smells amazing!
It is a very thick cream, which I felt very hesitant putting on my skin. But let me just say about 4 hours passed and my face was not oily and my makeup/skin looked amazing. I was shocked! My skin normally gets oily abut 2 hours after my makeup application! Also, it did not make me breakout, which was awesome!
A little goes a very long way with this face cream and to be totally honest I am actually thinking about purchasing this when my sample runs out. I really love the way it makes my skin feel and look. All in all this is a great MOISTURIZING face cream that didn't make my skin more oily OR make my skin breakout... definitely a winner!

I normally wouldn't have even tried this, but I got a sample packette and couldn't resist, especially since I have had previous success with Jurlique products. I have sensitive, dry skin, and botanical extracts/oils sometimes worry me. I have to say that this cream is truly great for daytime (except for the lack of sunscreen, but I use a separate sunscreen anyway). It is a very hydrating cream, so much so that it may not be appropriate for oilier skins. The aromatherapy aspect of the cream is pretty intense, but the scent does fade. About an hour after application, I marveled at how well my skin was acting, no dry patches, no redness or irritation. I think the price point is good, too. I'd definitely buy either this, or the cream intended for drier skins.

this cream feels waxy and doesn't really absorb into the skin in dry areas, but feels soft and hydrated on normal areas of the skin, so probably best for someone with normal to oily skin.

Quick Take: moisturizing, overly- scented and perfumey, comfortable
I really thought I would love this moisturizer because I love the Jurlique line, especially the Soothing Day Cream. At first I did like it a lot. Its not too heavy or greasy, but adds more moisture than the soothing or clarifying moisturizers. Unfortunately it made me break out pretty bad, and in places that I dont usually break out. I think it may have been the really strong fragrance or something. None of the other Jurlique products have done this to me and I use a lot from the line. Too bad.
