Quick Take: lightweight
I started using this for my dehydrated, acne prone skin. I used to have comination oily/acne prone and dry skin but dehydrated it with unnatural harsh products. I started using the Jurlique line after some coworkers recommended it and got this Gel in the Rebaliance Oiliness kit (which you can use even if you dont have oily skin because the products are so versatile and interchangeable between skin types). I apply it under the Clarifying lotion and I really like it. It seems to have toned my skin while adding extra moisture to my face without a heavy feel. My skin tone has evened out as well since starting to use jurlique and none of the products including this one make me break out!!. Sometimes when I apply this product my face gets a little flushed like I have been excersizing or something, maybe its a reaction from all the plant extracts, but it seems to increase circulation to my face (in a good way).

Quick Take: fabulous & effective
This product is natural and effective. It also has a pleasant smell. I would not suggest it during the day, in humid areas because it can make your skin appear oily. I love the Jurlique skincare line.

Quick Take: lightweight yet very moisturizing
I have been using this for years as it was recommended by my esthetician. It isn't greasy and makes my skin soft yet not heavy. I am in my forties and still get compliments on how young I look! Unlike many other products I have tried at department stores, Jurlique products never seem to disappoint me!

Wonderful Product!

Living in the desert presents challenges to maintaining moisturized, soft skin and the opportunity to try different products to soothe and protect. Women of a certain age *ahem* tend to have dry skin also, so I deal with a double whammy! Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Gel really hydrates my face leaving it soft and supple. It absorbs quickly and is not greasy, even though it's called a gel. I recommend you try it!

Quick Take: wonderful, fresh, soothing, healing
I have pretty sensitive skin, so a lot of UNnatural products had been making me break out. I switched to all Jurlique and have since seen a huge reduction in blemishes and irritations. My skin looks soooo much better, and I think it's because (especially) the HR gel. I'm not kidding - daily usage speeds up the skin's natural healing process and makes me look glowing and lovely. I look well rested even when I'm not! I use it with Skin Balancing Face Oil and it is a magical combo.
Seriously, if you have troubled skin, take up Jurlique. It will rock your world.

pretty good stuff

not mind blowing by any stretch but definitely a good product. i received this product right around finals week, aka the worst week of the year for my eyes (stress, poor diet, no sleep). right away i saw a pretty big difference in firmness in my skin. i felt like it did a pretty good job tightening up and helped alleviate my dark circles. i will probably buy again, although it is expensive!

Quick Take: easy to use, great botanical fragrance
I rated this with 2 stars as a Fair product because it wasn't bad, but after nearly two weeks of use I feet that I might as well be pressing and releasing regular old-fasioned aloe vera gel onto my face. I like the the "vegetable-y" fragrance, and it is fun to apply. But it does not make my face feel firmer, hydrated, or give a glow. I really wanted this to work for me, but unfortunately the price and performance didn't meet my expectations.

LOVE this product!! Makes skin so soft and firm. Within the first night of applying the gel, I could feel a difference! Instantly absorbs and firms skin while moisturizing. Within a week it had erased fine lines—preventing premature aging.
Extremely lightweight gel IF you apply it correctly. It has to be applied in a “press-and-release” motion with one finger; don’t quickly smear/wipe it over your skin because then the gel will not absorb. Best of all, it doesn’t make me breakout!
Lightweight, not over-powering rose smell, effective dispenser pump and cap to prevent accidental drips, beautiful packaging! To top if off, it's paraben-free!

I just ordered the full size bottle of this after squeezing out every last drop of the sample that I received. A little does go a long way as I was able to get two weeks worth out of the little sample pack. I have only used this for two weeks but what a difference in that short time. I'm 29 years old and was just starting to get a few lines and wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes. After using this they are almost completely gone and my skin is tight and firm like it was when I was a teenager. LOVE this stuff. I took a star off only for the smell. It's not bad...just a very strong rose scent that smells a little like my grandma's perfume.

I could not be happier with this product. It is considered pricey but what you get in return is priceless!
Please follow directions and use a press and release motion when applying. Once, in a hurry, I applied it like a regular moisturizer and the product felt different afterward. Applying it to the skin in the correct way really makes a difference.
Your skin will feel firmer, softer and will look amazing. I use it on my neck too.

This product is to be applied with the ring finger in a PRESS and RELEASE motion. If you spread the product vs press and release it will melt into the skin. This product is very firming. The “dry” feeling might be a tightening feel from the firming. This product’s main benefits are to protect, firm and hydrate.
