Quick Take: soft shimmer
I did not think I would use this much, but one of the girls in Sephora showed it to me and showed me how to use it, and I just love it. This pen just gives you a shimmery, subtle glow. It's beautiful.

Quick Take: soft shimmer
I use this just under my eyes, right into the crease with my nose. Every time I wear it, I get told I have beautiful eyes. I've gotten it twice, and it lasts a decent length of time. I haven't tried any other illuminators, so I can't compare any. However, I am very happy with this, and will continue to buy it.

I bought this product from the Givenchy Rep in Chicago. She used it on my eyes as a base color. It is fabulous!!!! I love it and is has made my must have list which is very hard to do.

Quick Take: thick and heavy
It took me awhile to get the cream out of this pen. Once it comes out, it feels a bit too thick. And it pretty hard to blend on the face. I used it on my cheek bones. I find it difficult to use, especially with the tiny brush that doesn't absorb the cream at all. I had to return it.

I love everything about this. I have it in "moonlight" and it gives the most beautiful opal glow to the cheekbones and eyebrow arch. Perfect for highlighting as the last-step in the makeup routine. It melts into the skin- no tell-tale glitter or shimmer! Just a lovely glow.

I own this is Moon Light and it is perfect for highlighting tired eyes. For a quick 5 minute face, I like to use a tinted moisturizer covering my face and lids, then I take Mister Bright and put him under the arch of my brow, in my tear duct area, and on the planes of my face to give me a nice radiant glow (add a coat of mascara). It leaves a wonderful radiant finish to the skin.

Great effect...looks fab but it is really hard to get the pen working. Getting it to work the first time was a drama, and each subsequent time has been just as bad...i have to turn it numerous times, then shake, and inevitably end up putting it on with my fingers as it clumps out all at once.

I previously used Givenchy's Mister Bright Touch Of Light Pen in Dawnlight last spring (2010). I found it to be an excellent highlighter, discovering that the pearlized pink worked very well with my pale skin. It was nice as a highlighter on my cheekbones, in the inner corner of my eyes, and directly under my eyebrows. I loved the pearlized effect, which is more effective than those more obviously shimmery, and certainly more natural that those with some sort of glittery products in them. I also use Benefit's Eye Bright, a creamy pink toned pencil, when I want a matte finish. Givenchy's Mister Bright Touch Of Light Pen worked well, distributing the necessary amount of product onto the applicator. I was very pleased with it.
Since I knew Givenchy's Mister Bright Touch Of Light Pen was good, I decided to try Moon Light, which is described as an opalescent pearl. However, this pen doesn't work well. Getting the product out is a major production. I spend more time trying to get it out than I do with the entire rest of my eye makeup application, so this is going back. I don't know if it's defective, or maybe dried out, or maybe the distribution method has changed. Whatever it is, check it out before bringing it home. If it works, it's awesome.

I fear this was not worth the money. I planned to use around my eyes, but couldn't really tell wether it was there or not. Applicator was not well designed--turned 100s of times before a big clump came out, so ended up using fingers anyway. I wanted subtle, but this was TOO subtle.

When I bought this the Sephora SA was saying it should start to come out after clicking the pen only 5 or so times. He was trying a few in another shade because there was no sample and I wanted to see how dark the middle shade was. After clicking for 10-15 on each that he pulled, he said they were defective and threw them in a drawer, announcing over his mic. that there was a problem to all the other associates. I should have taken this as a warning, but I was so excited to try this since they were out of the YSL one and all the SA said they preferred this one anyway. When I opened it that night I clicked it 75 times and nothing came out onto the brush. I had set it aside to return it the next day when my husband asked to see it. He twisted it a few more times vigorously and it finally spurted out in a small clump at the top of the brush. This forced me to use my fingers to spread the highlighter where I wanted it. I had watched tutorials on different ways to use the pen and tried it both under and over foundation, but really didn't notice much of a difference to warrant spending the money or bothering to apply it. I bought the lightest color which is a pink shade. The only positive was that it was more shimmery and less glittery than others I sampled. But I think I'd be better off using one from a pot or tube, as the point of the pen was the no mess brush applicator which is useless since it just comes out in globs at the top of the brush when you click it, even if you lick very slowly.

Moon Light is a girls best friend :) It really opens up the eyes, defines cheekbones and gives a fresh awake look. I reach for it especially when I do not get my full nights sleep. Super concentrated so a little goes a long way!

Loved this product. I use it eiter under or over foundation on my cheekbones. It brings back the dewy look to my face. I dont like the flat matt look that foundation gives so this is just right for me! I too dont like the twist application brush though. Dificult to gauge quantity.
