Not Fabulous- 11.11.09
I purchased this product based on the glowing reviews it got. I don't think its "all that." Also, the color I chose, Biege Moyen 04, is very dark.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I just love this product. It feels weightless, but covers so good. The skin looks just gorgeous and stays this way all day long! I am very happy that I purchased this product. I have light to medium skin and bought no. 4, so it is a little bit too dark for me, but I should say it still blends and adapts to the skin color very very good. For winter time I think no. 3 would be better :)

GOOD STUFF- 08.31.09
Goes on smooth. Some foundations are hard to blend. This one has a light rose scent to it. I do think that it stays on well when I workout. It also feels light like I am not caked with makeup. You can add more if you want more full coverage. Color may be a little too dark for me for winter so I am waiting to see if they get more of their lightest shade in, that they are out of. Makes my poors look much smaller!!!

This foundation, although expensive, is really wonderful. I really only needed less than a pea sized amount to cover my whole face! I bought the rose natural color, and it imparts a beautiful glow with just a hint of rose color underneath. I have skin that is just starting to show some age.....larger pores, dry patches on my cheeks, some redness (not rosacea, but a similar genetic thing), and some fine lines showing up. This foundation does a wonderful job of imparting a subtle glow to my face while covering appropriately and not looking greasy at all.
FYI, I use this with a beautyblender sponge and, because of that, I am able to use even less of the product to cover my whole face!

A must have- 07.28.09
I have an uneven skin tone and oily sensitive skin. This foundation is a life saver. Great protection against UVA, long lasting, perfectly blending. I love it and would definitely recommend to anyone who has ever had to experience their nose and cheeks getting red when temeparures change rapidly, especially in winter:) It also really resists rain and snow.

Quick Take: long wearing just like the description says
This is a great foundation! It stays on great even in the heat! I was very surprised that it did not feel heavy based on how well it stays on. It goes on very smooth.

Best Foundation EVER!!- 07.23.09
Quick Take: long-lasting, full coverage
I did not know foundation could give coverage this complete, last this long, or look so good. And a full range of colors really helps us fair-skinned gals, who have been largely ignored by the modern cosmetics industry. This is worth every penny -- I am terrified they will stop making it and I'll have to stock up on it for years in advance!

Quick Take: moisturizing, long wearing
I try many different foundations, as they are released into the market - Always looking for the biggest bang for my buck. I want something that not only looks beautiful, but, in this new age of cosmetics, I want it to not only look great, but is also good for my skin. As I age, I do need that extra kick, to smooth over the very fine, but, just the same lines. I also look for a longer wear formula with an SPF. This foundation does it all for you. It does everything it promises. It's gives you a flawless smooth complexion. The formula is a little on the lighter side for me, but, I add more where needed. (small age spots, etc.) This is an expensive foundation. So, I don't wear it every day. I would go through it way too quickly. But, I use it several times a week, when I really want that special glowing complexion, with the ability to stay with me for many hours, through perspiration, or whatever happens that day or evening. I am a clinical esthetician, and I would recommend it highly to my clients who can afford it.

I made a quick stop into sephora before a workout and on a whim decided to try out this foundation. After seeing how natural, flawless and radient it made my blotchy dull skin, I purchased it immediately. I proceded to the gym, deciding to leave the makeup on just to see how it would stand up. After a grueling sweaty two hour workout, this foundation stayed put and my face looked fantastic. The foundation looks thin but it can be built up from medium to full coverage and smooths out beautifully. Doesn't look cakey, doesn't slide around my oily skin and doesn't fade or lose color as the day goes on. I was super happy with this purchase and am pleased my search for a great foundation is over!

I have used makeup since primary school and have many favorite products but this is the ONLY foundation I have called my HG!
I used to have china doll skin and was stopped often with compliments on it. That was until my compramised immune system worsen and ravaged my skin with uneven tone, bright red cheeks, oiliness with dry patches, sensitivity and constant and multiple soars which are difficult to cover (very embarressing!). Combined with the fact I live in south center Florida, left me with an immense collection of foundation bottles, tubes, pots, and compacts.
I dread when they get rid of this product! It covers soars reddness and all sorts of imperfections plus it really does last ALL DAY through oil slicks, humidity and sweat!
I just can't say enough about this product and I'm not one to write reviews and stuff. I just love this.
My favorite part, other than the natural looking buildable med. to full coverage I get, is this foundation is like smoothing on a heavy water-in a good way. It spreads for miles and feels like air!

I love this foundation!!! I have tried them all and this one has nice shades that do not oxidize and last all day and night with only a dust of powder. The consistency is nice somewhat thin yet still creamy feeling. It is very easy to blend and melts into the skin creating a flawless look without caking! even without a primer. this product did not make me oily yet left a rdiant look to my skin. My skin didn't feel tight or caked in makeup. My only complaint is that my sensitive skin breaks out a little if i use if daily, but it's fine for a few times a week, or going out.

Very good- 03.24.09
This is one of the best foundations I have used. Unfortunately, the color I ordered was way too dark for my skin tone. It is difficult to determine from the color 'swatch' on the page! I did return it several weeks ago and am still waiting for the return to show up so that I can exchange it with a lighter color.

Quick Take: not long lasting
I have very oily skin and was looking for a foundation that has true staying power, this is not it. Coverage was good and it looked good for about 30 minutes. I returned this to the store and purchased make up forever matte velvet.

This foundation is the best I have found. Covers expertly, controls oiliness, yet stays comfortable and dewy, on my sensitive combo patchy skin. The only problem I have is 02 is still too dark. I'm not even light skinned, and it was still not a match to my light to medium yellow toned skin. For reference BB Sand is a perfect match for me, but have to resort to EL DWL 01 until a foundation that I actually like and matches.

Quick Take: matte, full coverage
Guerlain's luminous foundation is perfect for me with its matte finish because I have very oily skin. The coverage is outstanding...full without having to build it up. It glides on so smoothly that very little blending is needed. And I love the fact that this has an SPF 25. This is a truly awesome foundation...no complaints here!

perfect fit, light feeling- 01.05.09
Quick Take: moisturizing light feeling but works!
The foundation is very light feeling when you put and spread it on your face. It is good with using Primer. I also use loose powder sometimes. I bought Natural 23 which is little reddish on my face. That's only I have little disappoint. That's why I need to use loose powder to loose tone.

light, long-lasting full coverage- 12.26.08
Guerlain did not disappoint with this foundation -- it is lightweight, yet gives full coverage (to the point that concealer is not really needed). And it does last the entire day, despite heat or humidity (in Texas, that's a big plus). And there were ample colors to choose from for someone who is too fair-skinned for many types of (read: mineral) makeup. While it is pricy, a half-pump will cover my entire face nicely, so it does last a LONG time.
