Quick Take: improves shaving, moisturizing
I originally got a deluxe sample for my husband to try, who usually buys shaving cream at the grocery store and occasionally has bad razor burn. This product has helped a ton! Moreover, the full tub lasted over a year, so it turned out to be a more cost effective option. He loves the unscented version as it's great for sensitive skin.

My husband tells me that he really enjoys this shaving cream. It took a little while to get used to, but now he loves it. I purchased a tub for a christmas gift and there is still half of it left.

"The Art of Shaving is well worth the purchase - a little bit goes a long way as it goes on very thick. I generally wet my face first and then apply the cream. I have gotten a noticeably closer shave that seems to last longer than with other shaving creams and soaps I have used. I've experienced little to no irritation or razor burn with this product, even with a cheap razor." - according to my husband

I bought this several weeks ago for my husband's birthday, who had previously used $3 shaving cream. A Sephora sales rep suggested only using a small amount of cream instead of the heaps that are required for bottled cream, and she was right! Only a small dollop is needed to get an incredibly close shave. I predict this container will last about 2 months with about 5/6 shaves a week. Great buy!

Best shave cream ever- for women too

I am sensitive to scented products and have had problems finding a good shave cream. This leaves my legs really soft and smooth and has no smell at all. I have been a dedicated fan for about 6 months.

I would recommend this to men and women who are looking for an overall better shave, require a fragrance-free product, and/or suffer from a skin or hair follicle condition (sensitive skin, folliculitis, ingrown hairs, acne, irritation, etc.). I received a 1 oz. deluxe sample tube, which was ideal for travel. I know that the product is marketed to men, but as a woman with sensitive skin this product was a welcomed luxury. It is incredibly concentrated- a little goes a long way. The consistency is light and whipped, but is still denser than a lotion and provides more protection and moisture than "traditional" canned shaving cream. It rinses clean without leaving any residue and I didn't encounter an issues with irritation. I hope Sephora restocks the travel size. Shower users may find the large tub to be inconvenient (and less hygienic) than other forms of packaging.

I got a free sample for my husband and he just loved it, said it didn't make his skin dry or irritate. So for Xmas I bought the full size and he's very happy with this product. He has fair skin and this is the best for someone with tender skin.

A luxury, once enjoyed, now a necessity. My husband is a fairly thrifty guy buy I got this for him a couple of years ago, now he has to have it despite the price! Nice lather and the tub lasts a few months (of daily use) if you use it properly with a brush.

I use this shaving cream regularly and it's fabulous! Leaves my skin soft, no irritation, and it really is unscented. If you have sensitive skin I cannot recommend this product enough. It's expensive, but worth it.

I have very sensitive skin and have tried every different shaving product known to man. On a trip to NYC I wandered into a Art of Shaving store and fell in love. For the first time ever I get a comfortable close shave with no razor burn or bumps after. I use this both with a brush and without with equal success. Combined with a pre shave oil and post shave lotion, you really can't ask for better results.

My husband has very sensitive skin and refused to use a straight razor for years, instead opting for an electric razor that could never get a good shave. When I found this product it was the holy grail. He doesn't have any skin issues, it works beautifully and his shave is perfect every time.

This is the third jar I've bought for my dad. He is obsessed with it. At first he didn't like it because it was so expensive...but now he will not use anything else! He even bought a container to put a little bit in for when he shaves at the gym. HIGHLY suggest this as a gift!

My husband really doesn't like scents and has very sensible red-haired skin. This products, along with others from the range (oil is a must), helped him avoid razor burn and keeps his skin smooth and supple. A jar will last a long time as you only need a small qty about a pea-size with a shaving brush.

As a female, I used to dread shaving. The nicks, bumps, and stubble made me avoid it all together. I got the trial size of this with my points, and within days I ordered the full size. It helps me get a closer so my shave lasts longer, my skin feels smooth and soft after I use it, and best of all no itchy bumps! The only downside is that's its drying so I have to make sure I moisturize afterwards.
