No more complaining when I shop at Sephora

Everytime I purchase anything on Sephora's website I grab every sample they have for men, hoping the "But I thought of you" excuse will work when my husband sees the credit card bill statement. Usually he isn't a fan of some of the colognes and when I saw this I thought oh perfect. When I first gave it to him and told him it was a Sephora sample, he was all oh great I'm using something from a women's makeup store. Two days later I catch him on the website looking it up and asking me to buy more. I almost died haha. Then we were in the mall and he literally asked "Do you want to go into Sephora?" I thought the world ended. He was so impressed by how well it worked he wondered what other products they had for men, and he tells all his friends about "the best shaving kit ever." This shaving cream not only works amazingly, but I will forever be in it's debt. :)

No more bumps

Bought this for my husband because the skin under his chin was getting irritated and bumpy, and everytime he shaved he was getting knicks and cuts. After using this set, he immediately noticed the difference. No more red, bumpy, irritated skin. Before using this, he was just using regular shaving cream and razor. The extra steps of softening and after shave make a difference. I checked out other brands and the price for The Art of Shaving was pretty reasonable. Will definitely buy again and recommend for guys who also want to maintain soft, beautiful skin.

Husband loves it

I got this for him for our anniversary since I couldn't think of anything else. He scoffed at me a bit but then used it! What a difference. His skin was soft and so smooth. I was even shocked by the difference. I will be getting the full size for him I'm sure. He is hooked and so am I! Definitely worth a try. Glad I did!

My fiance loves this set. He says that he has much less irritation with these products than with regular shaving cream and aftershave. I also like the unscented option so that he is not layering on a ton of fragrance.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Xmas and he loved it!! His razor bumps immediately went away and he was very happy with the shave.
I definitely recommend this product and it is a great gift for guys. I recommend unscented for guys who have sensitive skin because scents usually cause irritation.

I got a sample of this for my husband on my last order and he used all of the steps when he shaved and his face is SO smooth! He usually gets terrible razor burn after he shaves and with this there was almost no irritation at all. It was seriously amazing. Definitely thinking about spending the $100 on this one.

Ok so my bf just used this last night and this is his review! He was not sure about the oil you put on your face first but afterwards decided that he really liked that. He loved the shaving cream (so much that he saved the tiny sample to hopefully get more out later). He wasn't too impressed by the after shave, a lot of that I think was the smell. It did say that it was unscented but it still had a faint smell that he didn't like.

this stuff is awesome. i knew my husband was sexy, but the art of shaving has taken the art of kissing to a whole new level. his skin is so nice & not as painful post shaving that he is shaving much more, and even though it is a 4 step process, the shave time is much shorter = unexpected lovely date nights!

My husband got the whole set included the straight edge razor at the Art of Shaving store. After the first shave, I can see the dramatic improvement over his skin. Before purchasing the set, every time after shaving, his face looks like some huge acne breakouts just decided to happen. It was terrible, but NO MORE!! This incredible shaving set helped improve his face so much, no more acnes, razor burns or ingrown hair which leads to infections. Now my husband shaves every day and have a smooth and sexy face.

This kit is wonderful. I bought it for my husband, who has sensitive skin. He has also had to deal with ingrown hairs in the past. This kit provides him with a very close shave and it has significantly reduced his ingrown hairs!! We will buy this again.

My husband has been using TAOS for over a year now, but most importantly he is now in Afghanistan & requested I write this review. He said this kit is fantastic & with temps in the 120's is top quality. He was amazed the shaving cream does not melt & says his face feels great. Thank you TAOS for top quality products!!!!

Last year, when one of our teens started shaving, he used The Art of Shaving The 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave Starter Kit. Our first "shaver" was so pleased with it, that we decided to make this a family tradition. So once again, one of our sons has started shaving with this set. Both are very happy with their kits which came with a pre-shave oil which helps to soften hair growth before shaving, some great shaving cream, which makes nicks and cuts a thing of the past, a shaving brush, and some after shave balm, which soothes the face after shaving. All the product in this scent is unscented and hypoallergenic. This is an exceptional set for the first-time shaver. (Please note that at this point, these items do not meet the TSA regulations for travel inside the airplane cabin - these are NOT minis... We've also purchased travel sets that do meet current travel regulations). The brush is really nice, and the products are being replaced as they're used up. The after shave balm seems to last a very long time. All men would enjoy this set, and it makes a great Father's Day gift. It's the best for introducing young men to the art of shaving, in a way that says you care.

Best Purchase I've Ever Made

I bought this kit for my boyfriend for christmas and he loves it. Shaving used to be a step down from torture for both of us, bumps and ingrowns, just general irritation for him and the next day rash from kissing for me. Neither of our faces could handle it, facial hair was the only solution until now.
These products have restored both of our faiths in shaving. It's no longer a thing to be rushed, but a time to relish. The cream, brush and after-shave are the best he's ever tried and is hooked. Only the odd ingrown, no bumps, and any irritation is soothed. The shave oil, is a nice extra but since he switched to a Rolls Razor (a Safety razor and straight razor Hybrid that used to be his Grandfather's) there is less need for the oil. However, he does let it absorb in to his mustache (and any other prickly areas) when growing them out to soften the attack on my face.
All in all, this kit as brought back the make out session.
