Improves Shaving

With a prior order, I chose this sample to give to a friend. He LOVED IT!! While using this, he said it felt like the product 'lifted the hair" on his face, which made it easier to shave. You could see the difference; definately a closer shave. He looked GREAT!

I bought this for my Fiance for his birthday and he LOVES it! He asked for a shaving brush and he didn't want the chrome one so I had to buy the carryon that included the black handle brush. Very happy with it. Visited the Art of Shaving store in Mass. and was very glad to see Sephora carry their products. I hope Sephora will start to carry MORE of their products. ?? :)

Art of Shaving Unscented

My boy friend had tried the oil as a sample and had really liked it, so based on that I bought him the set as a random gift.
He LOVES it. As a set it a works together to make the shave a work of art. He likes the smell of the oil and how it really makes the shave much smoother.
The shaving cream didn't smell as good but worked into a nice lather with the badger brush. He was impressed with how little effort he had to put into getting a close shave. It was easier to get areas that he normally has difficulty with.
The results were so smooth and clean with no irritation. He was extremely happy with the results and cannot wait to recommend it to others. He was already asking me the price of the full size set he liked it so much. He did feel it should last him a while as you don't need a lot to achieve great results. He also liked how this set made his razor gunk up very little and seemed to leave his razors less dull than a normal shave.

So fabulous! My husband has really sensitive skin and always gets razor burn when he shaves. But with this kit he loves shaving, and the little brush is just the icing on the cake.

He loves it all, but has found better shaving creams. So it is using this shaving cream and then probably going back to the brand-- Anthonys - but will continue with the other products. Also, I got the unscented just incase because his skin is sensitive-- and hes been fine with it.

I got this as a sample for my husband because he has sensitive skin. He rarely shaves (once a week) because his face gets so irritated and filled with ingrown hairs. I figured he should give this kit a try. He didn't mind the pre shave oil, but said the shaving cream felt better than anything he's gotten at the drug store. The after shave wasn't his favorite either, but it didn't irritate his skin so it was decent in his book! It's been 2 days since he last shaved and has yet to complain of ingrown hairs or itching so I like this kit for him, he just said he probably wouldn't buy the full kit.

I purchased this after trying out a sample I received from Sephora. The best product in this set is the Preshave Oil. Its truly marvellous. It really does make the shave a lot smoother. The ease and smoothness of my shave was noticeable. I am going to continue using this Preshave Oil and the Shaving cream and discard the Gillette stuff I had been using earlier. As for the aftershave balm, I like that its unscented but I am a little agnostic about it. But overall, I do like this travel kit. It works brilliantly for me as I travel quite often.

I bought this travel size for my husband to try and I have to admit based on the price of the product he did not want to like it since repurchasing would be expensive... But he loved it. At first he did not think it made a difference and the one day he shaved not using this product he broke out!! So we will be re purchasing.. FYI. My husband has oily acne prone sensitive skin.

I got the shaving cream as a free gift. My husband tried it and loved it. I decided to buy him the set and got an extra one for my dad. He has sensitive skin and is very picky about his shaving products. Well apparently he's raving about it to my mom. I know what I'll be buying him for Christmas. Convenient for travel.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my man and this is what it took to understand why I love Sephora!
He has super sensitive skin and cannot use most shaving products but he loves how this makes his skin feel and even went back to get more. Definitely worth the investment, this kit lasted him about 3 months and he shaves everyday.
I have another Sephora addict in the making :)

The Art of Shaving's The 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave Carry-On is excellent and meets TSA regulations (at the time of this review) for inclusion in carry-on luggage for air travel. My husband has really thick growth and could really stand to shave twice a day. The term "four o'clock shadow" could have been coined for him. Kissing him sometimes means that my skin is going to end up feeling raw and uncomfortable. Luckily, we discovered The Art of Shaving through a Sephora sample kit a couple of years ago, which introduced our family to Art of Shaving products. This turned out to be very lucky, because two teenage sons seems to have inherited this heavy beard growth. These products are ideal for them, too. Very luckily, these sets come in three scents: Lemon, Lavender, and Unscented. and Sandalwood. We've been able to color/scent code the products for each of them, so there's no mix-up about which kit belongs to which person.
The products in these travel kits really do prepare and give the skin for a really close shave. We've discovered that these products help get a closer shave than products from the drugstore alone, and even with the new growth that comes at the end of the afternoon, it isn't quite as obvious and certainly softer and not as pointed. (Pointed hairs can do a number on women's cheeks). We've also noticed that nobody is getting nicks from their razors. Since these products allow for an extremely close shave, new growth seems easier to shave the next morning. These sets come with a really good shaving brush, too, which is a great touch. It comes packed in a case which also meets TSA regulations. Everyone is very satisfied with the close results they get.

This kit is the ONLY kit my boyfriend uses. He is always on the go, but he appreciates a great shave for a great price. The razor heads are only $1 each, and each one lasts ages because they're doubles sided! He gets a clean untraceable shave for a great price and I get uninitiated skin from his smooth baby face!

i bought this kit for my SO as a way for him as a trial and all i can say is that he absolutely loves it. he has super sensitive skin and he would usually see irritation immediately after shaving plus ingrowns by the second day. with this system, his skin was not irritated at all and he commented on how moisturized his skin felt. great purchase... off to buy him the full set.
