Quick Take: undetectable
After 2 months, I see no change. I'm 59, don't smoke, and use SPF 24/7 on face/lips. I can't think of anything I'm doing to counteract any positive changes that might be going on.
My lips responded favorably to another brand nighttime treatment....I'm going back to that.
By the way...yes, it tingles....it contains capsaicin (pepper) and it's a mild burn you feel. I'm not sure that has anything to do with favorable action...my thought is that it's intended to make you think it's "working". I could be wrong.

I'v been using this product as directed for over two months now. It has a menthol scent, tinglles after you rub it in, doesn't taste too good. That's about all I have to say about this product.

Quick Take: exfoliating, a light stinging initially means it's working
I'm an ex smoker and I'm also in my 40's, so I've developed two smokers lines on my top left lip area.
I've been using it twice a day as it instructs you to.
I just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I did a double take. I walked closer to the mirror and they are GONE. I'm dumbstruck.

As a smoker, yes bad I know! I feel this has really helped to soften the two lines I have from my upper lip, no-doubt due to smoking.
When you put it on it has a very slight tingle, more of a menthol feel. Then it just sinks in and does it's job. I would not say I feel like my pout has been made bigger- but a little like Lip Venom Gloss, it does makes you feel more pouty.

I am a 48yo smoker and have no quit day scheduled so I wanted a product that would definetly counter act all the damage to my skin (LEAVE IT ALONE OKAY) surrounding my lip area SMOKERS!!! this one DOES WORK!!!! worth every penny gals, and its a lip plumper too. While seeing the lines around my lips starting to develop I decided to nip it in the bud but PTR didn't do the trick. It was not any more effective than an ok face cream. I sent it back.

Like some of the other reviewers i myself am also a ex smoker and was left with the upper lip wrinkles.I have been using this for about a month now and have seen results the lines are fading away and i have noticed more plump defined lips.i have had great results and highly recomend.

A Lipsaver

I was one of those people who badly needed some help in the lip department. I knew I needed some kind of lip treatment or miracle because nothing else -- no lip balm or conditioner -- worked. Then I discovered this product.
It does not feel like a hydrating lip balm at all. I apply this after I use Smashbox Lip Exfoliant. It immediately gets absored. I apply some type of lip conditioner like Laura Mercier's. I did this routine daily and gave it some time, like weeks, to work its miracle, and it did work!
No more chapped lips!!

This is really a good product. Small bottle, but just a dab will do it. After a month of use there was a visiable difference. Am on my 2nd bottle. Fuller lips, fewer wrinkles. Try it and give it a chance to work.. You will like it...
