Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I tried this on recommendation from a friend. I have very sensitive skin and was worried it might break out, but this moisturizer actually made my skin much better! Wearing it under foundation prolongs the life of makeup significantly, and a little bit goes a long, long way.

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, awesome
I absolutely LOVE this product! I have tried more things than I can count to control my oily skin and this is by far superior to all of them! Occasionally after wearing it a while I will have a small dewy look to my forehead and cheeks but my face doesn't look oily (FINALLY!). I would recommend this product to everyone! I can thankfully stop searching for something to control my oily skin!

Quick Take: long lasting
I use this product daily and love it! I do think a little bit goes a long way and I have noticed a dramatic difference in my skin and oil production. This product has worked for me (oily/combination skin type) and I use this as a moisturizer and primer, then follow with BB cream and a mineral foundation. The only critique I have is that it has a different smell to it, but it's not horrible, and the first time I used this, I used too much so it felt heavy for a few minutes before it absorbed into my skin.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, intensive, mats oil effectively
I needed something for my combo-oily skin, to use daily, and for my wedding (outdoors!) that would moisturize, but not 'melt' off or look shiny. This has been my favourite moisturizer for all of the above. I use it daily without it clogging my pores, making my skin shiny, and it isn't heavy at all. I use it with a primer, as washing my face in the AM.
Bonus: my husband likes it too-the packaging is great, and doesn't look too 'girly', so a great idea for guys too!

I love love love this oil control mattifier!!! One day I was done putting on my foundation but I forgot to use my korres primer. However, I used the Murad oil control before I finished putting on my foundation. I went outside it was so hot! I forgot I had foundation on. Nobody knew I had foundation on. I was not oily one bit. I kept getting compliments that I have a flawless skin. THANKS TO MURAD OIL CONTROL MATTIFIER. I don't need a primer anymore. PLUS IT SMELLS AND FEELS SO NICE!!

Really works well to keep the oiliness from creeping in as the day goes along. May feel a bit like a moisturizer going on initially, but don't let that fool you. Definitely worth the price.

I typically apply moisturizer to a damp face, and it's impossible with this one. It weirdly slips over the damp areas like it's not penetrating. So I tried applying to dry skin, and it takes major work to rub it in! Not to mention using really large portions - this tiny bottle is almost empty. The skin around my mouth gets super dry - even after applying a second coat. However, it is really mattifying in the T-zone - I barely need a touch up throughout the day!

For YEARS I have struggled to find a product that would control my oil, so instead I would just pile on foundation. This stuff is rich and feels so clean, and makes my skin look better. I have to take it off before I worl out because it doesn't allow my face to sweat!

Quick Take: matifying
I started using this lotion after my hourglass oil free primer failed on me. Let me tell you, it really does wonders for oily skin!!! My makeup does not slip and slide off my face and also I do not look like I have been hit with a pan of oil. So I am very happy that it was introduced to me and I highly recommended

I love this product!! My t zone is very oily and it controlled it very well, I went to Hawaii and I wore this while tanning and with my makeup and it really control my oily skin and I didn't not get sunburned on my face at all!! Thank you to the sephora consultant that recommend it!!!!

Quick Take: mattifying
This product does exactly what it claims to do. I was struggling to control oil throughout the day, but now I don't have to use much powder. I start with a serum-type moisturizer, then use this Murad product after. Finish with makeup and I'm set to go for the day.

I love this product I have had combination to oily skin my whole life and have never been able to find anything to use as a good moisturizer under my makeup that would keep my skin from getting to oily I never felt I could ever wear makeup without it sliding off again and this product has allowed that to happen

I recommend this to anyone who is having problems with too much shine. Plus it has SPF and the one I got says its PA++ (helps protect pigments from darkening from UVA)
Never leave my house without putting this on! Worth the money.

It really does mattify my skin and doesn't leave it dry next morning. However, my skin, if left long enough, still produces some oil at T-area and on my nose but much less than when I use the other rich moisturizer.

Best moisturizer with SPF ever

I've been on the hunt for a good moisturizer with SPF for a long time. I have oily, acne-prone skin that sometimes has some dry patches (because of my use of benzoyl peroxide). When I say my face gets oily, I mean that literally two hours after I wash my face in the morning, my face feels greasy, and by the afternoon, I'm in total oil streak mode. I tried blotting with tissues, napkins, paper towels. I've also tried other oil free moisturizers, mattifiers, and powders. If Sephora carries it, I've probably slathered it on my face, and NOTHING has controlled oil the way this has. I can actually go the whole morning, and sometimes afternoon before I feel any oil. Even when I start to feel a little sleek, it is significantly better than it used to be before this product.
Not only does it keep the oil at bay, but it really does moisturize those pesky dry patches. It makes my skin feel and look healthy, and balanced. I just love it.
I should note that I'm not a fan of Murad's other products, so if you aren't either, you may still want to give this one a try.

My skin has been oily forever. I got a sample of this, and after using it for one day I couldn't live without it. Bought the product the next day. Usually I have to powder my face throughout the day to stop shine and I DIDN'T NEED TO DO IT ONCE WHEN I HAD THIS ON. Only SPF I'm putting on my face. Worth the price

I have very oily skin. I would always feel like my face was so dirty with the makeup becoming the oil on my face. I tried this product and I absolutely love it. I applyl makeup once and it stays on all day with no oil.
