I love tis product. i have used similar products but really like the coverage and i was able to find a color that really matched my skin tone. I really like the way it shaves off the amount of powder that you want and you can really control it and it is always fresh that way. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice powder that doesn't look too thick and easy to apply evenly. The best I've found so far. The only drawback is that it is expensive. The brush is not worth it as it's too small.

If you have not tried this please run and get it. I love everything about this foundation from the smooth silky finish to the container w/ the small cute brush. If you want to use a larger brush go w/ the Heavenly Face Brush by BE. The only drawback is the limited shades - if you are African American the darkest shade (which is Dark) is for women w/ skin tones similar to Halle Berry or Beyonce. I hope Smashbox will expand the shade choices so all of my sisters of various skin tones can enjoy the experience of pure LOVE :)

Can accentuate pores- 03.14.10
This powder has its merits in that it is not drying or chalky and has a light feel on the skin. And the package design is good, very effective in controlling the amount of powder dispensed. Those things made it an alright powder, but for me it accentuated my pores and I don't have especially large pores. If I were to recommend this powder it would be for those who have dry skin and small pores.

Great packaging but product could be better- 03.12.10
Quick Take: sheer coverage
I LOVE the shaver packaging! I use BE foundation but have always found it messy to carry it in my make up bag....with HALO, the shaver dispenses exactly how much i need without getting powder everywhere. HOWEVER, I would only recommend this powder to people who want sheer coverage or to use as a touch up powder during the day. I tried using HALO as a full coverage foundation and it looked too 'glowy' on me (not in a good way either).
VERDICT: great for sheer coverage or touch up, not so good if you want full coverage or prefer a matte finish

Quick Take: can layer the coverage
Really love the coverage, and the fact that you can control the amount of powder on your brush. Feels great on, no talc, no parabens, animal cruelty free, not tested on animals ( which is one of the main reasons I chose Smashbox). Quite pricey hopefully will last a long time. Didn't care for the brush that came with it.

I love this stuff! I just bought my second compact of this. The first one lasted me over a year of using it every single day. So really, though it may seem expensive, the mileage you get makes this an incredible value. That said, I did try to find a cheaper alternative to this, and my face hated me. I'm not sure about the "anti-aging" properties of this powder, but I love that it has no talc, which is a major pore clogger for me.
It doesn't have any shiny flecks of anything and doesn't make my face feel dry. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or pores and actually looks better after an hour or so. My only complaint is that this isn't especially long wearing. By the end of the day, it has completely disappeared. I find that even if I wear a primer, it still happens, though not as much. That is not enough for me to deduct a point though. I do love this for the following reasons: *sheer, non-chalky coverage *sets foundation or TM well *doesn't cause breakouts or clogged pores *packaging is a stroke of pure genius *economical - lots of product for your money
I've recommended it to several people and those that bought it loved it as well.

I love this powder!!! It has great coverage that lasts throughout the day and it makes your skin look flawless. I have acne and I'm able to layer this to cover up my blemishes easily. What really makes it great is that it doesn't accentuate any dryness or flakiness that you might have and I did notice a change in my skin texture. This product is excellent for the final touch on your makeup. It adds a look of hydration to your skin and finishes off your face with a powder that "perfects" your look. Most Awesome Powder on the market.- 03.07.10
Quick Take: flawless smoothe and beautiful
I am really puzzled by the few of you that don't love this powder. I guess you are the 1 in millions of women that it did not work for. You are rare. I have used this product for about a year and I have become a spokes-person because I get so many compliments when I am out wearing the Halo. If you are on the fence about trying it, get off of it and try it. It is well worth the money and it lasts forever. I have used ever foundation ever produced and this is an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Don't miss out and thanks Smashbox for the added benefit of better looking, flawless skin...

I always wondered what the big "to do" was about Smashbox. At Sephora, I found out. Being a true blue fan of Bare Minerals, I couldn't imagine anything better...BUT there is, and it is SMASHBOX. A powdery substance that uses the heat of your body to transform the makeup to a soft liquid like surface. And coverage - WOW x 2 !!!. Awesome. A MUST TRY if ever there was one....

Quick Take: sheer coverage
Wasn't too impressed with it. Did not feel it was worth the price. I didn't like the twisting to get the powder out, very little comes out. I'd prefer the shaking as opposed to the shaving of the powder.
