Update review #2

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing, replenishing
I wrote a review on this 7 months ago, re-purchased it and haven't used it much (nor did I need it). Recently, my face started acting up again, more so right around my eye was so sore and dry. Well, here came Ren Rose O12 to the rescue!!! I applied it every night around my eyes, tapping it into my eye area and around my nose. Almost overnight the difference it made (compared to everything else), just further proved to me that this is a forever product or HG (Holy Grail). I will always have this in my collection, because when I need it, it will be there and fix my problem skin.
Also, I now use this once a week and press it into the skin on my face.
Not to mention, my chin started to break out and I use this at night time to soothe my skin from my acne treatments. Love this, will always own it and I highly suggest you got o your local Sephora and get a sample of it.

Can't live without it especially in the winter. I put a light moisturizer on, then this, then another moisturizer then sunscreen. AMAZING! I have dry skin and this stuff is a miracle.

Not sure this is really any better than any other but it is keeping my face less dry......and..........not sure it is worth the high price tag!

seemingly good product
-11.25.12
This was suggested to me by someone that worked in the store. I have found my skin needs a lot more moisturizer than it once did so a combo of an oil and I use Clarins heavy moisturizer on top really makes my skin feel good. That said, I don't like the rose scent so probably won't buy this oil again.

Wanted to love it!

Although I used very sparingly, I couldn't shake the feeling that my face was oily and needed to be washed. I've tried many serums and I just prefer ones that don't feel oily. I'm sure it is a high quality product and maybe if your skin is super dry it would feel good?

It will change your life
-07.12.12
Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I met a REN rep at Sephora one day as I was trying to find something to help my severe dry skin. My dry skin was so bad that I would pray that when I would put my make-up on in the morning, that it would be a good day and my skin wouldn't hurt. I went into Sephora looking for a more moisturizing foundation but I feel I was brought into Sephora that day to meet this rep. She changed my life, she had been in my shoes and gave me about 8 different samples to take home and try. She did however say that she knew this Rose Serum would change my life. It did change my life, I am a believer in this product, I am a believe that it can heal the problem on your skin, dry patches, psoriasis, burns, etc. I have used it even on my skin during acne flare ups and it helped soothe the skin. We moved to an even drier location and again, this product proved it's worth by helping my skin to adjust to a much drier climate. Yes, it is expensive but instead of buying numerous products to help your dry skin, by one that will do everything you need it to and spend that little bit of extra $$ to get it. I bought this in Feb and it is now July and I still have about a month left of it. I don't need it that much anymore, I just use it when I feel my skin is looking a bit dehydrated and it will give my skin back the comfort and glow I need. Go try it and you will see what I mean.

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
This is a great product - where to even begin... Basically it does everything that the description states. Is it pricey? YES but totally worth it... Smell is wonderful and goes away very quickly, lines get relaxed, skin is plump and hydraded.
I have pretty crazy skin - sensitive, redness, dry patches, sometimes prone to break out and oily TZone. I only wear this at night. I cleanse, tone and while the toner is still not soaked in I take one pump, rub it in my hands to warm and then PAT it onto my skin starting with the dryest areas (jaw line and lower cheeks) then take it to the areas where I am starting to get wrinkles (forehead, crowsfeet and under the eye). By the time I get to my cheeks, nose and chin there isn't much left which is good because that's where I am a bit more oily. I have worn it alone and also under a moisturizer when I am super dry or itchy from my rosacea. This would be great to put on during a long flight to keep skin hydraded. GREAT PRODUCT!

This serum leaves my skin smooth, soothed, and gleaming. It soaks in quickly without leaving any greasiness and then you can follow up with a moisturizer. I love this stuff.

I have very dry skin, especially in winter and this has been wonderful. Very pricey but worth it. I use 1-2/x day and results were seen immediately. I'd go a full 5-stars but it is very pricey.

A little goes a long way
-03.09.12
This product was my "gateway drug," if you will, to the REN brand and I have yet to find one that doesn't do what it says it will. I use a prescription retinoid and in the winter I can easily get a flaky nose, forehead and don't even get me started about the sides of my mouth. I typically use one to two drops under moisturizer (day) or the frankincense night cream and I have flakes no more. Expensive, yes, but at one or two drops a time (and probably less in the summer), I should have this for a long time.

A true solid moisturizer in you're med cabinet
-02.23.12
Quick Take: preventative, improves overall appearance
I've been using this for years, I honestly dislike the rest of the REN product line, but this oil is perfection. I add it nightly to my bedtime moisturizer and add it daily to my morning moisturizer. Whether you add it to what you already use or use it alone, I swear it's incredible. I am prone to break outs and dry skin and this works wonders. I never mind giving $80 for this...though at times I wish it were less. But, well worth it. I would never say it if it wasn't the case. I have years of experience and this company has come up with a fantastic moisturizer! As a pharmacist, I feel well knowledgeable in skincare and this is a good product, (no...I do not own any stock in this company, nor know its owners).

Quick Take: preventative, dimishes fine lines, soothing, concentrated
every year, around this time in Houston, we get our first weeks of cooler or cold weather and my skin freaks out. dry as a bone, flakey, red, etc. every year i buy something, and while i'll eventually get through it, this product has made that happen within 2 weeks, so i am happy with it. yes, it's expensive, but i use it am and pm and the remaining product has not even dropped below the top of the label on my bottle. i have sensitive skin and this has given me no issues so far. right now, i'm pretty happy with the purchase and it will likely be my go-to product for winter skin.

Luxury Moisture
-12.15.11
Quick Take: hydrating, skin-nourishing, soothing, calming
This really feels like I'm giving my skin nourshment. The oil is really thick so I pump some into my palms and rub them together to warm it and them press into my face, so much more effective than spreading it with my fingertips. I'm seeing dramatic improvement in the softness and healing (I'm acne-prone) of my skin. Using powerful acne treatments leaves me dry, but not just any hydrating serum will work. The seabuckthorn, rose and jojoba oils are very soothing.

amazing product
-10.14.11
Quick Take: moisturizing
with oily skin prone to congestion i use products containing aha/benzoyl peroxide - both of which can be drying and harsh. this amazing oil alleviates the problem when applied underneath the other decongesting creams, and it gives the skin a beautiful sheen/dewy look with a delightful, authentic, organic rose smell.
i know many ppl use foundations to give their face a glow, but nothing beats a natural glow achieved by a natural oil that you can sleep with, w/o chemicals.
