I tried this per the previous reviews on how it cleans sponges...it didn't clean my sponges at all..the product is probably good for the sponge that goes along with it, but when it comes to other sponges, not so much, it went back..

Quick Take: dissolves makeup products immediately
A friend and I got into a discussion about cleaning sponges. Although I have some great brush cleaners, I really didn't have anything good for my sponges. I always wash them out and use a gentle soap product, but it wasn't actually made for sponges. When I mentioned this to my friend, she brought me some of the wonderful blendercleanser. My sponges all look like new again, although they were in great condition. Our of curiousity, I tried it on a small section of a kitchen sponge, and the thing looks like it just came out of the package. If it can restore that sponge, that speaks tons about this product. Although it's out of stock now, I will be getting some as it soon as it's back in stock. I'm amazed at how well it cleaned all the sponges. Your sponges deserve this. You do, too, because it makes your sponges clean and safer for you.

I have the beauty blender sponges and they are just fantastic. They are all I use to apply my foundation and this cleanser is the best for these sponges as well as my makeup brushes.

Get this cleanser!

This cleanser is not just for the Beautyblender, but for all brushes and sponges. A little goes a long way with this powerful and lightly-scented cleanser. The bottle that I got doesn't look like the one pictured, though; it's just a regular flip-top squeeze bottle. I've used it on stiff-bristled kabuki brushes to get them soft and clean, as well as on grungy foundation brushes to get them just like new. A great product!

Quick Take: an effective cleanser
I deliberated a long time before buying this cleanser. Like another reviewer, I was using dishwashing liquid to clean my sponges. I feel that I've thrown some out prematurely because there were foundation stains that I just couldn't get off them. But one washing with this cleanser solved that issue and it left a wonderful lavender scent. I also like that you can use the cup on top to lay your sponge to dry. I used to have a problem finding a place to lay my wet sponge on. Now I don't.
I use Laura Mercier sponges and this cleanser works great with them. I think I will use it for my brushes too when I run out of brush cleanser.

Gentle cleanser

At first, I thought I didn't need this. I just cleaned my beautyblender with regular dishwashing liquid (hey, it's antibacterial). But then I decided to invest in this cleanser. Smart move. It cleans better, faster, and it does not take forever to rinse off. I'm not too keen on spending extra money for a small bottle of sponge shampoo. But in this case, I must admit it does the job better. I also use it to clean my taklon concealer brush and it does a great job on that, too.

Good cleaner...

At first I wondered why I was spending money on a sponge cleaner, but I'm glad I did invest in the cleanser because I think it makes the sponge hold up better longer. I also feels like it gets the deep down dirt that soap and water just can't get to. Very worthwhile product.

Quick Take: efficient gentle cleanser
This cleanser is highly efficient in removing any trace of makeup from the BeautyBlender sponge. The soap is dispensed by pressing down on the cup at the top. No wonder I just tossed the inexpensive wedge type of makeup sponges beacuse no matter what soap I used there was always at least a spot of residual makeup. The wedge type sponges purchased in a bag were so inexpensive it was not worth the time it took to try and clean it. With this sponge you want to make the sponge last.

Best beauty cleanser

I've been using this for years. I found an ad in a magazine with the sponge and both are great products. The cleanser has a mild lavender scent. It takes all the product out of the sponges and yes, I wash all of my brushes too, with no damage. It' has a pump applicator which makes it easy. Even my old favorates, can't part with sponges, were given new life. If you use an oil base foundation, it might take acouple of washes, it just depends on how often you clean them, but it does take the oils out.
