Quick Take: color correcting, creamy, crease resistant, natural looking
I love the ease of application and how well it makes shadows show up giving them staying power. As others have said ,this is one primer that looks natural as it corrects color and provides a smooth base for eye shadow. I was a little hesitant because of the price but now that I've been using it for about a year, I feel it's worth every penny! For me this primer is a beauty basic that I cannot do without.

I have been using this product for over 22 years now. I am a product junkie and this is the one product that I have never quit using. I have oily eye lids and your eyeshadow does not move or crease with this on. As I've gotten older, my lids are less oily, but I still continue to use this because it makes my eye makeup look better than without it. Over the years, I have tried about 22 other primers just to make sure I was not missing out on new products and formulations, but nothing compares. Honestly, over the years, I have put this to the test and in my youth, I've went a solid 2 days with the same make up on and it looked exactly the same and just as good the 2nd day as the first. There is not another primer out there that would hold up as well. Maybe too much info, but I feel like the whole world needs to know about this product and I think there are only a few of us in on this secret cult product...

I read a lot of the other reviews and I don't know if I got lucky, or if there is a defect with their product. Mine is silky smooth, no crushing or crumbling. Mine is very moist. In fact I always wait at least a minute after applying it iwth my finger before applying eyeshadow to make sure it is dry. I also make a habit of not leaving in open between swipes to apply. Maybe they are getting too much air exposure? Mine is also kept in the velvet slip in a drawer. This product is one I will use forever. Never have found one that works as well, and I have used the less expensive ones. Dior doesn't even have anyhting to compare to this and they were my brand before I switched to Guerlain. Lastly, I really like the solid base-color for my eyeshadows. The ones that have more pigment show up better and also the ones that are sheer come up more visible. Great product. I've had mine over a year and I've not seen the botton of the copact yet either.

Natural primer

I really like this primer. In part, because I cannot find a better alternative.
It's a great product. I like how natural it looks: even if I don't use a foundation on a certain day, my eyes still look bright thanks to this primer.
When I wear it, my eyeshadow lasts well for at least 6-7 hours without creasing.
What I don't like about it is the ease of application. I have to use the back of the enclosed brush to crumble the primer onto my fingertip and then apply it onto my eyelids. It can get particularly annoying, especially when I'm short on time.
That said, I'm on my second package. I have tried Lemonaid by Benefit and also Lorac's primer. Both of those are also great and really do brighten the eyes, but they don't look as natural. That's why I tend to prefer this one. Even despite its price.
However, if I find another product that's easier to apply and is not as pricey, I'll switch. One possible substitute would be Dior's primer that they include into their eyeshadow sets. Unfortunately, that one is not offered separately.

I gave this product only 3 stars because It's good quality product but overpriced. When I use this I think that my eyeshadow does stay on longer and goes on more smoothly. Another positive is that it has beautiful packaging. That being said I think I could find a primer that was just as good for less $$. BUT if you have the budget go for it!

For me, this product was helpful in intensifying my eyeshadow and preventing creasing. I have oily eyelids but the eye primer works for me. My only critique is that it is a little pricey.

Quick Take: creamy
I like to use a shadow primer because my shadow often has to go for 12 plus hours at work. This one was costlier than what I usually purchase. I like the neat compact and application brush. But I don't find that it extends the life of my eyeshadow as well as other, less expensive brands have. Looks nice, feels nice, but not worth the extra price.

I have tried many primers out there and this is my favorite. I suggest not using the brush that comes with the primer. I scrape a little of the primer out with the top of my fingernail or the handle of the brush and then soften it with my on the top of my hand with my finger and then pat it on my eyelid. It really keeps shadow lasting longer and looking smooth.

This primer definitely goes on smoothly and evens the eyelid -- so, in that sense, it's a good base. However, it does not make shadow as smudge and budge-proof as other primers do -- the pigment does not adhere as well.

I was using Benefit FYeye but that got discontinued unfortunately. I was skeptical about this..and not happy about the price but the product works well. The product is dense and slightly difficult to put on but my eye make-up doesn't budge (and this is surprising since I have oily eyelids.

I do not have oily skin and that's probably why I love this product. I never used an eye shadow primer before but I was tired of having my eye shadow disappear within hours of putting it on.
Since using this product, my eye shadow color is truer and lasts all day with no creasing! Even when I don't wear eye shadow, I still like to put this on because it feels great and makes me look somehow more awake.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it tends to make some lumpy deposits when I apply it to my eye lid using the brush that came with it.

I have no problem spending money if the product will deliver, however, this primer is not for the unlucky ones with oily skin. I did feel that my eyelids were more oily after using the product and my eyeshadow is completely off by the afternoon.

I was a Urban Decay primer lover ( and still am, do not get me wrong) and then I tried this. Goes on smooth, really keeps color true and long lasting. Very soothing when it goes on, almost moisturizing feeling. A smidge of this goes a long way so it is well worth the money.

This product is extremely expensive and mediocre at best. It causes shadow and eyeliner to leak and is sub-par. Wish I hadn't boght it, now stuck with paying almost $40 for a low quality, ineffective product.

I have a tendency to lean towards brands like MAC or Smashbox for performance type products like primers. I saw this in Sephora and what appealed to me was the powder-cream feel to it. It seemed entirely different than other eye primers. I bought it without reading any reviews. I read those after I bought it, and was concerned because a number of reviewers indicated that a previous version was much better. I immediately disliked the brush, but the product is what is important. I used my finger to apply, gave it a couple minutes to marry with my skin, and then applied makeup. I teach fitness classes and all my eye makeup looks fresh even through sweat. I am very happy with this product.

I have serious issues with my eyeshadow creasing during the day and I was looking for something to help prevent the makeup meltdown...unfortunately this product didn't deliver. The product had settled into creases before I even put on the shadow! The color was nice but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
