This foundation is beautifful....if you know how to use it. It's not the most user friendly. A couple of reasons: the formula is basically mineralized water with chunky mineral pigments suspended throughout...so it has to be shaken REALLY REALLY well...if you don't skake...you will pump out all the water...and will be left with sludge...which will then clog the pump. I'm guessing Dior will probably fix this. Another catch...is that you have to moisturize your skin prior and i find the best results are actually with the Dior serum and moisturizer. If your skin is not moisturized, the minerals can actually cling to dry areas. BUT...if you watch out for these two things...the foundation goes on amazing..and looks like YOUR skin...minus dry patches...minus redness...minus imperfections...as the formula is buildable...and dries to a luminous yet non greasy finish. oil free and spf 10. the look of perfect skin. i highly highly recommened the Dior skin care with their foundations...the two work optimally together.
I normally don't ever break out and but I was having a serious breakout that lasted three months and it left a couple bad scars. As soon as I started using this product my three month long breakout finally came to an end. It moisturized my skin while stopping my breakout. This makeup is very runny before you put it on, and after you do, it has just the right amount of coverage, and as for my scars, I used a very small amount of bare minerals foundation powder, even my dad said my face was glowing, and I am picture perfect again.
Quick Take: moisturizing, healthy glow, light texture great coverage, last all day
I don't use foundation to mask anything, I have great skin, so I look for protection more than anything; This is THE HG of foundations. I find the colors match perfectly ( I use 31- golden complexion) and blend seamlessly. Last all day and really does give a great Glow to the skin. Looks like Healthy Skin you were born with
I have problem skin... sometimes it looks really dry... sometimes oily. Oddly, sometimes both. I also need a good coverage makeup because I have rosacea, so my face is pretty red. This makeup provides pretty good coverage, and goes on pretty smoothly, though my issues are still apparent as ever. I certainly don't think it's worth the price. VERY expensive, and I've used $12 products at the drug store that work just as well. If you have nice smooth skin, then you might find that this product is a little nicer than a drug store brand, but just not for me.
I had always trouble to find appropriate color of foundation for my skin. The tone fits me perfectly,it looks super natural on skin. I'm happy I found something I was looking for for so long!!!
This foundation is awesome! It is very thin and goes on smoothly. A lot of liquid foundations I use go on thick and cacky, but this one does not. It last all day long and hides redness and blemishes. A little pricey but so worth it!
This product is fantastic! A little pricey, but I love the way it feels and looks. My only issue is that by the end of the work-day it definitely needs a touch up, I usually keep a little powder on hand in my desk...
i love this skin product, because it's a good match for my skin and it easily dissolves on my skin to give a perfect tone. it hides any flaws perfectly.overall, a good product!
It is the best fundation i have ever bought! I dont use conceler anymore... It did cost alot of money but you dont have to use much and still give great coverage
This is by far the best face makeup I have ever used! I rarely ever get pimples however I do have some redness in my skin and it covers it right up and makes my complexion look flawless, all day! I also noticed it minimizes the appearance of my frown lines which is a plus.
It looks great on my skin- as long as my skin is clear and moisturized. If my skin is dry at all, the makeup highlights those problems.
I have acne problems, but I can't use a spot treatment or add moisturizer over OR under the makeup because it messes up the makeup. My skin suddenly looks like a train wreck because only a smooth primer works under this makeup. Really looks good as long as I have problem-free skin, which I don't.
